This bitch at the drive thru window was ghetto af. Seriously, this is the busiest spot in this part of the city. Need to take more training classes and some act right. Smh.

I don’t usually write reviews for fast food chains but I just went to grab a quick bite before dinner. I went into the drive through and Barbie took my order. Gosh, she was very chipper and the most upbeat person I’ve encountered at a fast food place. Working on Thanksgiving must be rough as it takes away from family time so thank you Barbie being happy and making everyone pass through the drive through happy as well. It definitely puts a smile on everyone’s face. :) 5 stars to Barbie!

This place has always been good to me. The staff is laid back and the food is consistent. The drive-​thru is 24 hours and can get busy at night. This is the best fast food joint on Bayshore. I love the Jumbo Jack and curly fries!

Take «ana» out of the drive through window. She plays around to much and takes her sweat ass time. NO BUENO

Out of all the fast food chains out there, Jack in the Box is one of a kind. From breakfast being served all day, to jalapeño poppers, the options are limitless. Let us not forget about the mighty curly fries.
As far as food and service go, this location is A-​OK. The area is not the best, and you will definitely see druggies lurking around both inside and out of this food establishment late at night. Stay safe out there.

We went to drive thru today 6÷24÷15 @ 7pm.
Bad experience: after we got our order we were just checking it if it’s the right burrito one ASIAN GUY wearing maroon shirt asked sarcastically «what are you guys doing?» So we said were just checking it needless to say they made a mistake last time I went to drive thru also and he laughed obnoxiously. This is an opinion of 2 people me and my friend witnessed it. I’ve been a regular to Jack in a box but won’t be coming back to this branch w this rude employee! Since we don’t want to keep the line we just left. But if I had the chance I would have complain although it seems like he is the manager.

I go through many Jack in the Box restaurants. This one on Bayshore, across from Lowe’s, is exceptional. I don’t write many reviews, but I felt today that I really should.
At this Jack in the Box, I have always received good food and great service. It appears to be very well managed. They are always friendly and helpful.
And, the ladies behind the counter, «! iQue hermosas!!!»

They stepped their game way up the inside has been remodeled and the food is prepared with better taste and the bums aren’t hanging around as much I like that they put a token lock on the restroom and the overall inside and service is better I only go here every once in awhile for breakfast or a spicy chicken sandwich it’s good for a quick cheap bite to eat before working the graveyard shift I’ve never sat inside to eat but since it looks cleaner I might… not

Drive thru at night? Good deal. Problem is they consistently mess up your order. Double check your bag before driving off!

Luv the food! Orders have gotten messed up a few times while ordering at drive-​thru to find out when i got home! Service ok so far! Just check order before leaving or you might be disappointed when your home

I thought it was cool. I ordered a two tacos and a ultimate cheeseburger. It’s not bad for the value aspect. It’s Jack in da box. I really feel silly but their commercials actually work on me. I wound up giving away a taco and 50 cents to a homeless dude waiting outside the drivethru. It’s true what they say about this place. There’s some ghetto feel to it? Loud music and weird elements thats why i went through the drive through. There’s really messed up dudes and females loitering. But just don’t make eye contact and just jet. The homeless guy complimented my car and ask me if it was fast? he said he was working on picking himself a car in the future? I don’t know bout that cuz he had serious health issues. His hands were swollen and fingers cracked. Sometimes you have to go out and experience all of san francisco. Not just the pretty parts.

JIB is the latest to jump into the cronut clone craze. It’s a temporary new item.
I came to try it just out of curiosity, because it’s the only clone that’s made to order. So u get them hot, unlike all competitors who serve them cold.
This location is a franchise so they charge $ 2.99 for 3 (regular JIB owned stores charge $ 1.99 for 3). No big deal, it’s still a reasonable price when considering that most fake cronut imitations charge $ 5 each.
These are plain (dusted in cinnamon sugar), without any glazing or cream filling (the NY original).
These hot donuts were actually not bad, they’re soft exactly like malasadas in Hawaii. But since JIB calls them cronuts, I expected layers inside and a slightly crisp exterior (fresh out of the fryer). It had neither, so I was a bit disappointed. Better described as malasadas with a hole.
I should explain that I seldom rate fast food places above 3 stars (unless something is exceptional). This drive thru location is very clean and service is friendly.

This was my first time at this location. I was not very impressed. I purchased a chicken sandwich on the dollar menu for a $ 1.69 and requested extra pickles and onions. The cashier didn’t inform me that she was charging me for the pickles (15 cents) When I received the sandwich it only had two pickle slices. I also ask for a cup of water with extra ice. She hands me the cup with water and not with one icecube in the cup. When I asked for some ice, the cashier gave body language such as «rolling eyes» and etc. then mumbled something in Spanish.
So while eating my sandwich in the dining room, a customer informed the staff that the restroom needed attention, with tissue and lots of water on the floor. He asked if someone could clean it. The crew leader told him she didn’t have any staff available. He then asked if he could have a pair of gloves to clean it and she told him” I don’t have any gloves”. The customer said I really have to go, so he used the restroom in sub standard conditions. The mop water that they were using to clean the floor was completely black. I wonder if they change the mop water every shift or is it once a day? My experience at this location was very disappointing, especially with the staff.

Jack here is open 24 hours and serves breakfast all day. small dining area, small parking lot. looks like most orders are drive thrus.
eats: waffle breakfast sammie (3.69) combo 2.30 more, (a ripoff!)
–tasty waffle with strong maple syrup taste.
–fried egg, sausage in middle, salty.
–taste ok but not worth it, overpriced.

This particular JIB is the most expensive Jib I have bin to plus experience the worst drive thru the cashier was talking to other associates in cursing language felt like I’m someplace where I don’t wanna be in. Drive thru order took over 7 mins TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!

OH Jack!
How your employees disappointed me yesterday. I came in with coupons and they acted a dam fool in there and didn’t know what they HELL they were doing. I think you should train your staff to know to do process coupons.
On top of that, they gave me 3 different people orders. SMH. Well, this wasn’t a big deal to me because I felt that because of my pain and suffering I deserved something for free. I just didn’t want more tacos. I wanted something SWEET!
I will be coming back to this but I EXPECT the next time I come the service is better at this one.
Don’t tell me that I cant double up on coupons and then when I want in and order you double 3 of my coupons! WTF! ughhh.
TIP-​If you can please go to anoher Jack in the Box with better customer Service.

They never seem to be able to get an order right and always seem to be able to forget to put half of my order into my bag at the drive through.
Not worth the effort trying to talk to anyone there as they don’t want to correct their errors.

I’ve been to a Jack In The Box branch around San Jose at least 12 times, and their crew (especially the cashiers) never fail to impress me. They’re always smiling and very accommodating. And surprise, surprise — they’re just as friendly at the drive-​thru. Combined with good food choices, it deserves a solid 4-​star rating.

Went here at eleven pm when my brothers and I wanted to try out the munchie meals. Didn’t have the munchie meal I wanted. Service wasn’t great. Their parking lot is a nightmare. There was a woman doing a pole dance for coins on the lamppost outside, while a family of four casually watched through the windows. Had no straws, or lids. Got the chicken hash brown sandwich. When I got it home it was too pathetic and sad to even eat. Fries were good and soggy. Would not recommend.
Correction — apparently there were straws and lids but they were next to the window by the pole dancer.

I wish there was Jack in the Box in NJ!
They have the 1 – 2 combo of Burgers and Tacos! It’s like McDonalds and Taco Bell had a baby and names in Jack and put it in a box. Probably the best sandwich is the sourdough Jack because my girlfriend is in love with it. It’s pretty much a Beef patty topped with bacon, tomato, Swiss cheese, Mayo-​Onion sauce, and ketchup on toasted sourdough bread. Also the taco’s are cheap! It’s like a dollar a taco which means trouble to my 6 pack underneath my layers. I also like that hey have curly fries which is definitely better than the normal fast food straight cut fries.

Ein netter kleiner burgerladen, die auswahl ist ähnlich wie die der bekannten großen ketten, der geschmack ist aber ein ganz anderer. Wer einmal hier war, wird danach probleme haben das zeigs von mc d, burger king und co noch zu mögen. Nicht falsch verstehen, es ist kein sternerestautant sondern auch eine fastfoodkette mit entsprechendem ambiente. Aber das essen ist m.e. schlichtweg besser als bei den anderen ketten.

Wir haben zwar nicht in SF bei JotB gegessen, dafür aber umso häufiger auf unserer RV-​Tour durch den Westen der USA. Meinen Geschmack hat es voll getroffen und wer einmal einen «Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger» gegessen hat, pfeifft zukünftig auf McD oder BK
absolut lecker!
