This burger will have you coming back for more every time! We drive all the way up from Palo Alto to get this burger. And a great person serves it with a smile! Such a beautiful person.

I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical of the place. On an otherwise-​nondescript friday night, I was trying to decide where to go for dinner, when my friend suggested to go to Junior’s. It will be an adventure, he said, and it’s only a bus ride away. It definitely lived up to its Unilocal-​hype.
Where else can you get a burger cooked from the back of a van? Junior is an extremely nice man, and his burgers are quite delicious. Don’t get put off by the strange location or rather odd food-​circumstance, and pay him a visit!
The pineapple was definitely an excellent touch, and man, the burger tastes great. The $ 10 burger was good enough for me, and comes with a soda on top of it!

A grill in the back of a van on the street was what I spotted as I was cruising by. I was kind of surprised to see this out of no where but so glad I did.
Found out that they make Brazilian burgers. My first time having one and it’s all that I could ever want in a burger! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Lots of meat, a fried egg, pineapple and corn.
They cook it up on the spot and it’s juicy. Only takes a few minutes.
The chef is also really nice too. Hooked it up with a free can of soda as well.
Devoured every single bite.

The yummy offspring of a threesome between a Cubana, Dagwood, and a burger. Zomg good.
I strongly suggest you eat it right there on the spot. As others have said, it’s a messy burger and it will leak through the to go bag.
If you want to risk the leakage, take the burger over to Speakeasy where you can have the other patrons glare at you while you consume the deliciousness that is this burger with a cold beer.

So delicious, so convenient (easy parking and not far from my home & open till midnight!), and so nice to support an excellent entrepreneur. All that an I’ve never seen a cleaner grill in my life. Makes buying a delicious unusual burger from the back of a truck into a real treat.

**Excuse the language** Best Fucking Burger Ever!!! I salute this man for his hustle out the trunk! I was getting to know him as he was cooking the food and Junior seemed like a humbled person. $ 15 for a double and drink. Worth every Penny! I do have to warn you! You will get a little messy lol.

Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had by far. If I described the burger in this review, it would not even do this burger justice, you have to experience it for yourself. One word «Amazing».

Best Burger on the entire Bay Area!!! Trust me!!! Always when I have time, I like to go there and have a nice and delicious burger, and to get even better, the soda is free!!! So, if you are craving for a good and authentic Brazilian burger, don’t hesitate!!! Junior barbecue is the best!!! Him and his daughter are so nice !!! Try it!!!

Forget the bacon wrapped hot dogs, if you have one of these you will fall in love.
The location is a little far from most hot spot bars, however, it is definitely worth the drive. The set up is cute if you like an «off the grid» setting and he’s open until midnight!
The owner is very friendly and caters to his customers. Definitely the best Brazilian burgers out there.

One of the best burgers in the city. I had driven by Junior’s truck a couple of times thinking I really need to stop by sometime — really bummed it took us this long! How he gets all those ingredients to stay on the bun I don’t know. Took about 10 minutes for us to order and have our burgers in hand headed for home. I ordered mine without pineapple not being too sure about the sweetness — but tried my bf’s with pineapple and I could go either way. After my bf finished his he turned to me and said «I already want another one.» We will have to try the chicken patties next time. Why go to In N Wait — grab a Junior’s burger — you will not be sorry!
btw — bring a sweater if you plan to eat there, it gets a little chilly :)

So good and the burger is so big and gets you really full. I love how he’s open late night until midnight sometimes too!

One of the most vulgar /​delicious I’ve ever had… in my life. A perfect stop on your return from The Speakeasy pub.

This is a food truck that’s parked next to Fed Ex by Napoleon St at Evans Ave. The hours are actually 6pm– midnight. I ordered the double burger with everything: Bun, 2 Burger patties, Bacon, Egg, Frankfurter, Ham, Cheese, Corn, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled onion and Pineapple. I thought this burger was delicious but… I thought $ 12 was a little steep. $ 12 for a burger from a guy who’s cooking in the back of his van, that’s a price for a gourmet sit down joint. I wasn’t quite full after the burger so I had another dinner after this and I don’t think I’m a big eater. But I really liked the burger and I’m a sucker for pineapples. I also LOVE bacon and eggs on any burgers or sandwiches. I really want to give this place 4 stars but just because they had eggs and bacon I give them 4.5 stars and since I always round up, I’ll give them 5 stars.
Also the cook seemed to be very conscience about cleanliness. I noticed he had gloves on and was conscience about cross contaminating with money.

I’ve been here so many times and it never gets old, if you want a burger that super stuffs you and that you’ll really enjoy for about $ 8 with a soda on the side then I would most definitely recommend this place. The service here is great, Junior the owner and the cook tries his best to cook as fast as he can because he does get pretty busy during dinner time and late evening. For a one person service I say he does a excellent job at time management because he’ll start a convo with you as he cooks making you feel comfortable and letting time fly by before you realize your burger is done.
The burger is either a chicken patty or a beef and you may have it either single or double but both comes with a soda which is awesome but gets your more filled up. The burgers consist of the buns, patties, pineapple, sausage, corn, egg, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and bacon, f.y.i you may also order without the patty if you’re on a carb diet, it’ll still be delicious.
I’d recommend this place anytime you want a satisfying yet delicious burger!

Junior is the shit. My girlfriend from Brazil raved about these Brazilian style burgers for years before I finally got a chance to go. (Lulu if you’re reading this — I know you told me so.) Yeah there’s hella shit on the burgers, yeah it’s good as fuck, yeah it’s cheap as shit and yeah it’s in the bumfuck of nowhere. Get off your Marina high horses and trek out to the hood! Did I mention it comes with a soda included in the price?! Hell yeah free soda! Get the chicken patty. Nom nom nom. I hate people who use «nom nom nom» and I can’t help myself but type it when in relation to Junior’s Barbeque. I also take my girlfriend so she can order in Portuguese… but I think the rest of you will be fine.
Junior is doing an amazing service to the taxi drivers and workers of this industrial neighborhood and for that, we thank you. This is stoner food at it’s finest.
