Green Beans is awesome in every way I can imagine. It’s the only place in SFO that bakes their goodies fresh at the airport and they’re delicious! They make stuff a few times a day, including late at night, so they’re always fresh. They also make delicious coffee products. Their prices are fair, especially being in an airport, and the service is super friendly. I found out recently that they’re a huge supporter of the US Troops and do lots of great things for active duty military on deployment, and my support of them couldn’t be any stronger. Check them out next time you’re at SFO. You’ll love it!

For being an airport café, I was surprised with the quality of the products offered. We ordered a house coffee, chai latte, and hot turkey sandwich. The house coffee was decent! Somewhere between starbucks(being the low) and peets(being the high). The chai latte was served piping hot and had the delicious spicy flavor I’m always searching for! I got a sandwich for the long travel ahead and was not disappointed! It was definitely filling and was made on a delicious San Francisco sourdough bread. If I’m ever in terminal 2 again before security, I’ll definitely come back for another chai latte!

I never got anything to drink there but the sandwich I had was soggy and the burrito I had today the eggs were like two big chunks of rubber.

Best Artisan Sandwiches in the airport. There’s at least 8 different muffin selections. Personally my favorite is the blueberry muffins.

For about the same amount of money, I can get way better cappuccino elsewhere. Better to save your taste buds and pocket changes for something else than the coffee here IMO.

I look foward to my Green Beans Coffee at Terminal 1. There is a female server at Green Beans Coffee on the late shift named Alex. She is a Barista that’s happy, with a smile and greets the customer like she really cares. For a Airport worker this is very good. They need more people that are good at there job like her. Prices are Airport, so people get over it. Some people complain here about the price. It’s the same at every Airport in America. The good service from servers like Alex make it worth while.

Waited 20 minutes for a breakfast burrito before demanding a refund. Was told«it’s busy». No, it wasn’t busy. There were only 3 people in front of me in line, and you had at least 4 staff members. Granted it took you 5 minutes to take their order. I think incompetent employees and terrible processes is the issue. This is an airport, not a European café. If you can’t make something in a reasonable amount of time, don’t sell it. I shudder to think how awful they would be if it was actually crowded. I am never returning.

Clam chowder in a plastic container? Potato on a bagel? This place was a bad idea. It sucks that because it is the only option around they provide such a bad service

This is a coffee stand in the airport just outside of the Delta security gate. Theres not much to it, or to be expected of it. The staff was nice enough, though the product itself could use a little love.

Coffee is decent. It’s pre checkpoint so you have to drink it before you pass through to the gates. They have a good selection of condiments to make up your coffee or tea, like honey and cinnamon, etc… Haven’t had the pastries but they have a good selection. Prices are way cheaper than the terminal area.

Are you serious? The Hispanic lady at the front was just all attitude. And the barista who was incompetent kept messing up orders. Which is fine it happens. :) but she shouldn’t be taking out that anger on customers. I ask her for a pastry and she with anger told me there was two and I needed to pick one. Lady. I’m not blind. You are in SFO. Your patrons in general are very educated and very good about knowing what they want with their coffee. Never coming here against hoping this place fails. Worst experience ordering anything, ever.

Great location, great coffee, FANTASTIC muffins and sandwiches. I fly Delta a lot(mom is an FA) and this place is fairly new, but lately I find myself grabbing breakfast here right before I jump on the security line. I met my uncle(Delta pilot, ex-military aviator) last night and we had coffee here– discovered the company is very supportive of the military. They actually have a program called«Cup of Joe For a Joe» where you can buy a cup of coffee for an active-duty soldier. Starbucks is a corporate machine and they never let you forget how hard they’re trying NOT to be, Peet’s is good coffee if you have an hour to wait for them to make it. Green Beans is good coffee, really good food, convenient, and they’re actually a NorCal company. I’m a fan.

Ordered a ice coffee, the guy pulls out a ready made concentrated mix adds water then ice. Tastes like watered down coffee. I expected at the very least fresh coffee over ice?!? With so many other options in the building I will not be going back. Complete waist of time and money

Average coffee at burn your mouth temperatures and very much below average sandwiches make for a disappointing experience. Where’s my Starbucks? Tried this new place out after I got off my flight from New York tonight. Asked for a decaf Americano and while it was quick it was served at what must have been near boiling as I put a fair amount of milk in it and still burned my mouth and after nearly a half an hour it’s still not cool enough to drink. Tried one of their«all day» breakfast sandwiches with egg and bacon on a bagel and gave up after a couple of bites as not only was it fairly bland(both the bacon and egg were cooked in the microwave) and also found a hair in there. I think unfortunately while I love the idea of a local business, Starbucks sets the bar for quality and this place just doesn’t live up.

Friendly people make for a refreshing change at airports, where mega-monopolistic companies like HMS Host run the show with their less-than-stellar employees and their accompanying slowness, attitudes, and poor work ethic. Green Beans is a breath of fresh air at SFO! They offer coffee, espresso, chai, teas, baked goods, sandwiches, soups, and salads. All of their baked goods are made fresh right here at their location. And let me say that you can taste it — muffins are awesome, cookies are chewy and homemade, and the food is fresh and healthy. Set just outside of the security checkpoint used by Delta Airlines here at SFO, they are at the end of Terminal 1 closest to Terminal 2, right across from the Christian Science Reading Room. I walk here from other parts of the airport regularly because their food and drink are absolutely worth it. The chai latte is PERFECT — not too sweet, not too strong of an expresso flavor. It’s truly just right, and the only place I’ll get a chai latte anymore. Be sure to ask for non-fat milk if you don’t like whole milk, as whole is the default. Check it out for yourself and you’ll be back again, I can guarantee it. And sign up for the loyalty program(Loyal Tree) so you can get points per dollar spent. Rewards come quickly and are generous! Employees of SFO enjoy a 25% discount — the best at the airport!

Green bean coffee company just opened outside of security at the delta terminal. Just had a ice coffee and it was good but I like starbucks a little bit better however they have great crushed ice. Still wishing this terminal had better food options.
