Paella night 4÷21÷16. 5 stars for the food. The veggie paella was sublime and the charcuterie was solid. 1 star for the service. You pay up front and then there was a mad dash for seats. I saw eight(8!) seats available and thought I was good to go but to my yuppified horror saw a bunch of people saving 3+ seats so I was SOL. It seems like a pretty odd policy to pay up front for dine in, not have seats available(for one person), and then allow people to save multiple seats for extended periods of time. So I had to change my order to go and ate this amazing food at a park bench a block away. I think under the circumstances my rating is fair — great food, bad service. I hope they fix their seat saving policy. This dynamic did not feel very welcoming and was awkward because of the seat dynamics.

Tried out the Early to Rise: Corned Pork Hash on 3⁄13. Such an interesting concept that we are glad we got to experience. Feastly leases out the kitchen and dining room at the Lab and has a rotation of amateur and professional chefs host meals. You can look up the menus and purchase tickets online a month or so out. We enjoyed salmon with cream cheese and homemade mini bagels, English muffins with homemade butter and jam, bacon and corned pork hash. It’s BYOW so we gladly brought our own mimosa ingredients and glasses! Great flavors and everything tasted fresh. We left stuffed and excited to try out future meals here.
