Worst customer service! He was basically hiding behind the machine making a large order! Didn’t even acknowledge that there was long line. Finally when he was done coached everyone that we were not standing in the right lane, & line starts behind the column. Then a Sfo employee walked in calming she was next!!! Then I just had to tell her off, 4 people in line & she’s claiming she was next, Please. There was no sign that indicates where line starts. You’re a coffee maker which is in customer service business, so you need to at least make eye contact, & you don’t have to be yelling at people where the line start, just smile & apologize for long wait

Very bad service from the 2 Asian ladies. They had such a nasty and snobby attitude. The drinks were only half full. They didn’t say there were free lids. I asked them for it and they say no! Bad!

Quick service, meh coffee. For a place that’s specializing in Italian coffee, their cappuccino was stunningly subpar. Not terrible, but definitely not great. I drank it because I needed the caffeine.

$ 21 for a macaroon, a panini, and a fruit cup. Overpriced but it’s the only thing that saved me after an 8 hour delay of my flight. Only place that is open at 4 am when you’re forced to stay overnight for flight cancellations and delays. Service is inattentive and food is incredibly subpar for the price.

The case of desserts looks inviting, but I ordered a fruit tart and it was clearly not fresh. The server was not friendly and just said«what do you want?» Water and a small fruit tart $ 11!!! I know it’s the airport but geeze.

Served us lukewarm coffee. We asked if we can have it changed but they refused. Horrible service.

Absolutely subpar all around. Service, the macarons, and the coffee. The staff behind the counter was all chaos, chattering in another language without regard for customers in front of them. Hey, I’m bi-lingual so no problem with the other language, but TAKECAREOFYOURCUSTOMERSWHILETHEYAREINFRONTOFYOU!!! Second, she took forever to wrap up my macarons with a bow… only to never give them to me and put them back into the refrigerator. WTF? I had to go back and remind them they didn’t give it to me. AND that was at first met with some resistance after which they BLAMED me for not getting it to me. Lovely. Coffee? It was tolerable since it was dredged with tons of sugar but it was more like drinking sugar water. So service is subpar, macarons priced ok but were not really that good in taste and bad coffee. Hrm… I think I’ll go to McDonald’s next time and just order myself a tastier and more courteous customer focused heart attack.

Overpriced food and drink too. Small portion. If you are hungry don’t take this place. Or you need to buy something else. Bought small 2 sandwiches and one small juice. Paid $ 27.

$ 17.53 for tiny sandwich, cup of soup, and water. Slow service. Rude when we arrived, but one of the customers(not me!) gave them what for and they were ok after that. Service and quality appears to be quite variable.

Very meh, I’m afraid. Exuberantly mediocre. Devotionally lackadaisical. When I ate there recently, I thought they were going through growing pains and were brand new. Turns out, they were just inefficient and inattentive. It is a little quieter down their way, but I think the food court is better.

This is the most I have ever paid for a salad this small. I got the cavolo and it has baby kale, arugula, goat cheese, dried cherries, and carmelized pecans. This salad cost me $ 11 and it is the size of a half salad. Being that the salad contains no meat it should be cheaper. The salad dressing container was also skimping on dressing. As for the actual salad most of the salads had sad looking greens in them. I picked the freshest I could find and I looked at ALL of them to find one I was kind of happy with. The salad dressing wasn’t bad but there wasn’t enough. Will not come back here to buy food. May possibly come back to try dessert.

The ladies at the espresso bar were quick and efficient. One of the better chai tea lattes I’ve had.

Great cup of coffee. It was so good I had another. The ladies working behind the counter Helen & Candy took great care of us. They both are awarded 5 Stars. My coffee was made to order fresh on the spot. My wife’s Chai Latee was one of the best she’s ever had. The seats are not the most comfortable and the floors need to be mopped and swept. Way better than Starbucks!

Overpriced food and drinks — a small coffee is about $ 2. Convenient location inside the airport. Was here at about 11pm and they were open late :) There’s a line that says enter and exit, so it’s easy to order! Few different option of food and drinks. Nothing special, but 3 stars since it’s open late and fast service. *Recommend you to bring your own food to eat before you pass security check point to save a few $$$ :)

The San Francisco Airport always makes me stressed out. The longest airport lines I’ve waited in have been at SFO, the seconds ticking away as I become increasingly ants-in-pants about making it to my flight. But I will give one thing to this airport: SFO has some of the best airport food options I’ve seen. Instead of a bevy of McD’s and Arby’s, you can find more refined looking fast food. And Emporio Rulli is a part of that. I had just 15 minutes before my flight was to board through the gate next to the food court that contains Emporio Rulli. And Emporio Rulli’s sandwiches and pastries seemed more appetizing than a boxed meal on the plane. I got a fruit cup — all fresh, good portion size — and small coffee. The biggest item I got was the Brie sandwich, which has — not surprisingly — Brie cheese on a deliciously crusty baguette with butter-olive oil spread. It was supposed to have prosciutto on it as well, as per the sandwich and info sign in the case. But what I got was ham. The ham was good, but prosciutto would have been marvelous. I asked the clerk afterward about the sandwich, and she said they only have that sandwich with ham, not prosciutto. Had I gotten the sandwich I ordered, this review would be at five stars. Still I would be happy to grab a quick meal from Emporio Rulli anytime — fast-approaching flight or not.

Emporio Rulli is part of the food court located just outside the International Terminal security checkpoint at SFO — surprisingly, the only thing open at like 8am on a weekday. It’s a local chain, offering relatively affordable prices for the airport. Unlike others, I did not find the service slow or rude. They offer a variety of sandwiches, desserts, snacks and drinks. Their espresso menu is standard except they have one blended espresso drink which most people seemed to be ordering(~$ 5). You can sit in the shared food court seating, while scoping out the line for security. I ordered the iced latte(no almond milk), and it tasted terrible and was weak. The chocolate croissant was overly dense and had a plasticky feel to it — Starbucks is better(GASP). The saving grace was the generous amount of chocolate inside, but I still don’t think I’ll be back. Lattes are $ 3.75 but 50 cents extra for iced. Croissants are $ 3.75.

I appreciated the service, speed, and quality of food. I am a frequent SFO traveler who revisits this place when I need a bite to eat before a flight. I got a $ 15 voucher from my airline because the flight was delayed by 2 hours. I chose this place. The lady was super helpful at helping me maximize the value of my voucher. My espresso and warmed sandwich was out by the time I finished paying for my order. Who can ask for more?

WARNING: If you happen to be in a hurry, then don’t expect fast or good service here at all. The ladies there were nice at first when I nicely asked them to heat up a croissant AND an egg and sausage sandwich. Well, one lady asked the other one to do it while she was ringing up customers. So I got the croissant almost right away, and then waited for my sandwich to be ready. It took a long time, so I thought that maybe they forgot to give it to me. I was right. Not only did the other woman misunderstand what the other lady told her, she took her sweet time to get the sandwich prepared even after I told them that I was in a hurry and if they could please heat it up now. I was nice and patient with them at first. They just looked at me in an annoyed way. At that point I really regretted giving them a dollar tip plus change, ugh! I should have waited until I got everything! There was hardly anything in the tip jar up until that point. There’s no surprise there! I then started to really get worried that I was going to miss this one appointment, so I just told them to give it to me the way that it was. I was annoyed and they didn’t even try to apologize for anything, so I got pissed and told them that I was sorry that I even gave them a tip and that they were awful before I walked off. One woman just stared at me. lol. Surprisingly the sandwich was good even though it was cold. It damn well better be for $ 8.00! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a bitch, but when people are this rude, well, I can’t help but get pissed off and annoyed at such apathy and ungratefulness. it wasn’t even busy at the time, so WTH? Ugh!

Stopped here for coffee during my recent trip out of SFO back home to Dulles… Ordred a small dark roast coffee. The small size was«smaller» than I was expecting. Still, the coffee was good. Price was high, but I suppose that is to be expected in an Airport coffee shop/café. They need to focus on making sure they routinely inspect the seating area — I wanted to sit down, but the tables in the bar area were all in need of cleaning! The lady who served up my coffee was friendly and nice!
