This Sky Club is past security and beside Gate 41. There was tons of space and seating when I went on a weekday afternoon, no need to share tables. The food selection was assorted cold dishes(potato, cold noodles) and a soup. Fruit, pastries, and various drinks like juice and tea were available. There is a set of free alcoholic beverages(e.g. house wines, beers, select spirits), and the rest(like cocktails) are paid extra. Very fast ATT wifi, great for working before getting on your flight. I used VPN as well and it was reasonably fast. Can’t wait to come back again!

When it comes to the Bay area and its airports, there are 3 of them strategically located– one to the west(SFO) one to the east(OAK) and one to the southeast(SJC). And between the three of them, Delta is NOT very prominent. Out of SFO, I would say United is the big airline. So, you are probably wondering then, what in the hell am I doing writing a five star review for a Delta Sky Club in SFO? I had to ask myself the same question. Let me begin with that I travel frequently between OAK and DEN. I always have a layover in SLC since there are not direct flights out of the Bay. This also holds true for flights from OAK-ATL. Because of this, any time I want to fly home to Atlanta, I either have to fly out of SJC(which I have not been to), or SFO. Let me re-iterate– SFO is not a Delta hub. They fly direct to SLC, LAX, ATL, MSP, JFK, SEA, and possibly DTW– pretty much the Delta hubs. So, when I found out there was a Sky Club here, I must have realized there must be a LOT of money, and Delta loyalty pumping through this airport. Let me explain: I read SKY Magazine the other day on a flight and it had a quick article bragging about SFOs new Sky Club. I was intrigued. So, after my flight from ATL, I decided to check it out. The club is right next to the Delta gates, so it is easy to access. I was greeted on the bottom and it almost reminded me like I was on the set of an Apple commercial. I explained it was my first time so they gave me the rundown. They then pointed me to the elevator to head up. So I did. When I entered the actual club area, I was impressed. I liked the contemporary art, the options for seating, the windows with the views, the space, the iPads everywhere, and my two favorite things– the food, and the showers. Showers are rare in Sky Clubs, usually only for international travel– they are few and far between. When I saw this place had showers, I was impressed. They come in handy when you work 15 hours then go straight to flying. And the food, holy shit! They have Vietnamese cuisine here– build your own phở! And that is just the start!!! They have this cool ass Tap water machine that will turn water into sparkling at a touch of a button. They also have food and drinks for purchase too– I mean, you don’t even have to go find airport food anymore– this place has it all! What an odd place to have such nice Delta stuff. Now, if they could do something like this in DEN!!!

«If I keep it in the lounge, everyone else eats it.» — House: Season 4 | Episode 14 Can I say that it’s about damn time? I’ve been flying in and out of SFO for 20 years — ever since my brother followed a girl to the Bay Area in 1995. Since that time, the Delta Sky Club(previously Crown Room) has been located upstairs before security. Last fall(2015), they finally opened the new and quite snazzy new Sky Club across from Gate 40. This is so much easier and makes so much more sense. Before now, you’d have to allow an unknown amount of time to get through the security lines to get to your flight — this defeated the purpose of relaxing in the Sky Club. The new Sky Club has you checking in downstairs and had stairs and an elevator to the second floor with is quite spacious and had at least twice the seating as the old Sky Club, possibly even more. They now have self serve water, iced tea and coffee and many more food options. The bar is double the size of the old one and the staff is three times the size of the previous staff. It does sadden me that I haven’t seen any of the previous staff members that I’ve known for so many years and knew me, but the new staff is quite friendly and very friendly. The seating is varied and there is a ton of different options for plugging in and the free wifi is great. I’m definitely a fan and don’t mind showing up early for my flights.

It is a newly renovated and nice lounge. Food is decent, however their iced tea is really good.

I held a membership to Delta Sky clubs for many years but quit it after seeing the clubs become crowded waiting rooms with crummy food. This club in Terminal 1 is so much nicer than the last iteration with CLEAN and stylish seating and power plugs at every seat, reflecting the needs of today’s executive traveler. In addition, this club had a bountiful selection of food, enough that one could have a proper breakfast including cereals, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, yogurt, and even eggs Benedict. If I was even sleepier, I might think I was in a KLM club in Europe or Virgin Australia club down under. While Delta seems to me to always be late to the party(unlike Northwest who was always out from), it is nice to see them finally making these clubs worth joining again.

The first thing that hits you is the smell. It smells like fresh cut grass on a cool day with a blue sky sporting a rainbow. I swear. The smells lets you know that the club is an oasis away from the he’ll also know as an airport. The club still has that new club smell and feel. Decorated in the white, silver, blue, and red that distinguishes all delta clubs, the SFO edition of the skyclub is absolutely stunning. On a sunny and clear day you can see the Sierras rising over the hills from the glass panes that surround the south wall(or is it North? Maybe East?) of the facility. The food is fabulous. This is an area Delta is working to improve and SFO’s club is at the leading edge of this effort. My favorite addition besides the Starbucks automated coffee machines is the sparkling water dispenser. This club also features a small café menu for purchase along with a full Sky Bar.

This is a beautiful, newly renovated club. It’s just past security in Terminal 1. The upstairs space is so bright and open. There are a variety of sitting areas, including ample seating close to outlets. The food selection has all the usual offerings and it includes a pan-Asian inspired section with noodles, Chinese chicken salad, and soup. They even offer chopsticks. Although it’s not large, this is one of the nicer clubs. It has a great design and the staff is very friendly. It was a nice place to burn a little time during a recent visit to San Fran.

Now located airside(the«sterile» side of the TSA checkpoint), this SkyClub is the Diamond Standard for SkyClubs in the Delta spectrum. I was absolutely blown away by the design and the location for this lovely space. Lots of glass with a view of the ramp and the runways, lots of different seating options, and of course, a great selection of free(and paid) drinks and bites if you’re here for a layover. Got a couple of hours? Consider buying a day pass for the SkyClub to wait out the time in comfort with good seating, lots of power outlets and free wifi without the noise and hassle in the terminal area. I am amazed. Delta, you have out done yourself.

The Sky Club here is really nice but they don’t have any showers. The food is the standard fare like most other Sky Clubs. It’s reasonably sized, meaning not too overcrowded. The wifi and time to just relax in a variety of different seats is good.

The highly anticipated Delta Sky Club is on the air side of Terminal 1! After waiting patiently for several months with the delayed opening, it’s finally here on the inside. The wait was worth it though. As you’re walking towards gate 41, you’ll find the entrance to the Delta Sky Club to your left. Once you check in at the lobby you will need to head up the stairs or take the elevator to get to the lounge. The nice thing about this new location is the close proximity to the boarding gates. I can literally time how long it takes and when my boarding position will be called so I’m not hovering by the sky priority line while all of the business elite customers board(though sometimes I am lucky enough to score a first class seat). The lounge is quite spacious and the wifi is super fast. They now password protect their wifi and the code is on a monthly basis. You’ll find it at the desk of the lounge when you enter. The view is also spectacular on a sunny day so if you have time to kill, this is the best place to hang out and catch up on work if you’re so inclined. There is a full bar with select beer and spirits available gratis. I have yet to use the shower facilities but I have used the bathrooms. It’s very comfortable and the only thing missing now are those Toto washlets. If they have those, there will be a long line for the bathrooms. The food was nothing to write home about in the old lounge. Now they have a delicious selection of premium eats that makes dining at the airport fun again. Each table is equipped with iPads and you can make your selection at your seat without having to get up. I must say their selection of soups are delicious! It must have something to do with the new chef Mai Pham’s inspired recipes. They have an upgraded coffee machine and a water dispenser offering both still and sparkling water. Bring a canteen with you as staying hydrated is very important while traveling.

Great lounge! Clean, modern, comfortable seats, nice bathrooms and they even have showers! Free food/snacks and complimentary alcoholic beverages. They also offer a menu that you can order from if you want a plates lunch or dinner. Prices were reasonable and the selection was diverse. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Finally! Delta sky club past security at SFO! I am in love with this new lounge. The décor is magnificent– open floor plans and modern furnishings really brightens up this lounge. Great view and plenty of seating.

After 20 years enduring the constant decrease of amenities at the so called Red Carpet Club now known as the United Club since it gets more expensive and they don’t give you the red carpet treatment, the Delta one exceeds my expectations. Liked — friendly greetings — remembering my name? Really — hot food item — clean bathroom — lots of newspaper choices — fresh fruit Okay. I can go on. Bottom line– what an airport lounge should be.

This is easily the best Delta Sky Club I have been to so far. I overheard from someone that it is only a month old, so it is brand new. There is a wide selection of food that is buffet style-it is very good. You can also order off of a menu if you want a full meal! There is also a nice bar area, with tv’s. The bathrooms were awesome! If you are like me and have panic attacks about pooping at airports, this is the closest you will get to home base. I was very comfortable using the bathrooms here because they are big, clean, and nice. I definitely had a 5 star experience and so will you.

Yay is all I can say!!! I am so happy with the new Sky Club that is now located post-security. It’s big and tall… gleams white and glass and it makes you proud to be a Delta customer. The layout is nice and functional. The new furniture is comfortable and functional with lots of electronic connections. The view is so spectacular for an airport on a blue sky day. Happy happy happy! I’ve been in more lounges than I care to admit and this one is top-tier people!!!

The new Delta SkyClub at SFO has gotta be one of the best domestic airline lounges in the U.S. For starters, it’s finally gateside! The ceilings are high, the space is huge, and it looks out over the tarmac so you can get your planespotting on. Just about every seat has access to power. Food is upgraded from your standard SkyClub. As I type this, they’re offering two kinds of cold pasta salad, chicken salad, two hearty soups with bread, mixed greens, an expanded cheese tray with three kinds of cheese, mini pies, cheesecake, and more. Definitely enough to make a meal. The staff are a treat, too. So accommodating and friendly.

New upgraded club AFTER security. Equipped with showers, huge bar, plenty of seating space, and the same friendly staff. The furniture is modern with plenty of plugs to be found. Thank you delta for the long needed upgrade bringing this club up to par with the newer sky clubs

The NEW Delta Sky Lounge is now open! It’s grand spanking new, sleek, chic, beautiful and spacious. Funny thing was that I was in the middle of finalizing a review on the old Delta Sky Lounge at SFO, but I quickly had to delete it and start afresh because the new lounge opened this past Friday! I had the opportunity to visit the new lounge last Friday… I accidentally went to the old lounge and found it emptied out– I thought where was I? Was I in a ghost town? Then I realized there were signs stating the lounge had been moved – and boy was that a great and pleasant surprise! The old lounge was old, cramped, and dark… And was also inconveniently located outside of security, which meant that one would need to allot more time to go through security while enjoying the old lounge. But… No more! The inconvenience has now been abolished as the new lounge is now super convenient, located right by Gate 41. The view from the new lounge is gorgeous, overlooking the runway. I sure do love sipping on some wine and plane watching — all doable here. The SFO Delta Sky Lounge is comparable to the one found in LAX(similarly sized, but SFO’s Delta Sky Lounge is a bit more spread out and spacious) with similar food and drink offerings– various beers on tap, red and white wines, hot soups, salads, antipasti, and veggies with dip. Noms. The old Delta Sky Lounge did not any shower facilities but the new Delta Sky Lounge was 2 shower rooms. I didn’t get to try them out because they were being cleaned during my short visit, but hopefully I’ll get to try them out. Since there’s only two shower rooms, I anticipate they may get filled up pretty fast, so make sure to allot enough time at the lounge if you want to maximize the benefits here! Overall, I had a great experience and hope to come back and try out the other amenities when I fly out of SFO again. Until we meet again, Delta Sky Lounge @ SFO! :)

If you have $ 29.99 you can pay for your entry or if you have a straight first class flight to JFK you can enter for free. Environment: Welcoming environment with staff ready to greet you. Colorful and modern décor that was pleasing to the eye. They have an open bar with options to purchase. They also have a menu to help if you are having difficulties deciding. Everything is set up nice and orderly. The utensils are located toward the end of the buffet styled items.(That’s the only thing I would change. I noticed many people returning because they forgot their utensils.) The staff was attentive and pleasant keep in mind this is the second day being open. Everyone was helpful and removed items immediately. Enjoy your experience and explore all the options.

This lounge is before security which makes the whole experience of relaxing before your flight a little hard. But the staff are fairly good at knowing when to leave to have enough time to pass security so don’t be shy to ask. The layout is 2 seating rooms with TVs and a bar/food/snacks in the middle. The food and drinks are fairly standard for Delta lounges, just the basics and hummus. I love that there are always packets of hummus at Delta lounges, no idea why but always good for a snack. Overall standard 3 star lounge with minus 1 star for being before security.
