Remember the days when clubs had free food, premium drinks and snacks? Those days are dead at American Airlines(United as well). I was shocked that they charge even for a bag of chips! Are you kidding me? The only things still free are house red and white wine and cheap beer, and a little cheese

The food is the same as the admiral club at LAX. However, this lounge offered more tea selections and seemed less crowded. The restroom is clean, has nice scent and roomy. Shower rooms are available. I also enjoyed the indoor trees as decorations(see pic).

$ 50 per day or $ 99 per month you’re not a member or don’t have the miles. But, the peace and quiet is worth it after the chaos of transport, security, and the terminal itself. Food and drinks are included.

They’ve really done a great job with the new food offerings. Hummus, pita chips, crackers, cheese, really good soups, and of course the on-the-house-house-wines. But more than that, the people that work here are awesome. They all rushed around to help me with a super urgent business issue i had — receiving faxes, sending them, scanning documents, and providing me with a nice drink when I needed it most. Even if I have a few moments, I go into this lounge to relax before(and sometimes after) my flight. Plus it’s fun to watch the afternoon flights go off to Asia. Really great place.

I am Exec Platinum with AA and have acces to this lounge, but I find it crazy that they charge $ 50 for the entrance fee for non elite class and still have decency to charge $ 11 for a sad sandwich. If you don’t have free access I don’t recommend this lounge. You will get better deal by spending your time at one of the restaurants in the terminal. Also not all biz and first class tickets gain you entry. It’s all based on your elite level.

This Lounge is no good. I’m charged for a gin and tonic. seriously? No food? Come on. What a waste. Should’ve gone to the centurion lounge, which is a million times better.

If you’ve never visited a lounge before of course this is an amazing place to be. The chairs are made of wood and leather as opposed to cheap white pieces of plastic. The closest thing to a meal is a toss between the hummus and the chicken soup served over a cylinder made of recyclable cardboard. They charge for alcoholic drinks so there’s that. Yes, even beer. It beats sitting by the gate. But not by much.

It is small but there are a ton of outlets to charge electronics which is huge for me. Bathrooms where also really nice. Cocktails were at a fee tho

I rolled the dice trying to catch an earlier flight, and now I’m stuck at the SFO for the next 12 hours waiting on the red eye flight home. SMH. The Admirals Club(affiliated with American Airlines) is going to have to fill the bill. I was actually a little surprised at the amenities they supplied for the $ 50 charge. * Complimentary WiFi * PCs, printers, and Internet access * Food(imagine hotel/in flight quality food) * Free beers, sodas, etc(granted its Coors Light), but you can upgrade to the beverage of your choice for a few extra bucks. * Hot shower(there have been a few people sitting beside me on a flight that I wish had taken advantage of this amenity) * Lots of AC plugs, laptop bars, televisions, and seating in a quiet setting. So, is it worth $ 50? The answer depends on how long you will be stuck in my opinion. For me, if I were stuck at SFO for longer than 4 hours then my answer is yes. The vibe is chill and I’m able to get some work done while stuck like Chuck.

One of the renovated lounges across the American Airlines network. A lot of light and very well laid out. We had a flight delay and the staff were polite, empathetic and helpful working through a solution to get us to our destination as quickly as possible. The most helpful and sincere staff we have encountered in an Admirals Club lounge.

The club is spacious and rarely have I found it packed, which is good. It is conveniently located right after Security, on your way to the gates. Fortunately, the gates are actually pretty nice themselves so this is just a bit better. What has always impressed me was the attentiveness of the staff(front desk, bar, roaming, etc). Sure, the food could be better and there could be more seats, but this location is one of the better ones I’ve been to. Now is it worth«paying» for access(and there are many ways)? I can’t really answer that for you, but if you are agonizing over the quality of pretzels and machine-made coffee before somehow getting access, that might be the wrong question. For me, it’s a quiet area where I can relax or get some work done before boarding a flight. It does the job well.

Never crowded. A great space, well laid out, with a couple of nooks to hide in if it gets more crowded than usual(which only happens if there’s a weather problem somewhere). The AAngels that work here are fab, especially those who are here from the defunct SJC club(RIP!!!). They even have a shower if for some reason you managed to come to a non-hub airport unclean. Great views of the tarmac to watch heavies taking off.

I’d like to say that Austin as the best AC, but that would be dishonest. That isn’t to say Austin’s AC is bad or less than the best, but merely reflects the fact that if I’m not running down the terminal screaming hold the plane, it’s a unique and unusual day. So I never see the inside of Austin’s AC. In fact, where they used to call me for delayed flights, they seem to have lost my number :(. So I can only compare against the US based ACs that I do visit regularly, namely DFW(x3. Who flies out of B?), ORD, SAN, LAX, and SFO, where SFO is far and away the best– hands down. No surly agents like in ORD, or the indifferent ones in DFW and LAX. They really help you here. I once needed them to call down and get my bag so they could book me on another trip, this was at midnight mind you, and they did it without complaint. Plus, they are always just so cheerful. In fact, they are just like Cheers. Despite this not even being my home city, everyone(down to the janitorial staff) greets me by name, rain or shine, day or night. I have seen complaints that there isn’t any food, other than some fruit and pretzels, but that is an American Airlines issue. If you’re not international, or flying EXP or Business + internationally, and then only at select airports, learn to enjoy the measly snacks. That isn’t the fault of the AC though, just AA’s thriftiness. They do offer a decent selection of complementary basic cocktails and alcohol, plus soda and water(not bottled) is free. But don’t get too hammered, you do have to make it onto the airplane!

I stopped here for a few hours on a layover, even though my planes both left and departed from another terminal. If you have a boarding pass, and some extra time, you can come here even if it’s not your terminal. The setting is nice, the snacks are okay, but I wish they had a couple more options for food. They had some chex mix and yogurt pretzels, but most lounges at least have some cheese and crackers or something. Not my favorite lounge, but worth a stop if you’ve nowhere better to go.

A very pleasant AAAC club in SFO, with some fun«trees» breaking the skylight, and a decent selection of free snacks. Keep in mind the club has a menu, with prices for sandwiches, salads, pizzas etc. being quite reasonable(cheaper than most of the establishments on the concourse). While I wish there was an internal way to reach the Centurion Club from Terminal 2, I can certainly settle for this AC. If you have a CITI prestige card or Citi AAdvantage card(the high end one), you can access this location for free(when flying American)

Really, really nice and friendly service but the snacks consist of cookies only. No cheese or apples. Granted its before 11am but really? No cheese? Ok so I’ve gotten spoiled. Other things-lots of charging stations but no specified private business center so I heard a lot of conference calls. I come to the AA lounges to chill, not to hear people on their work calls. Also the view is very meh. Basically the same thing you’d get at the gate – planes taxiing in and out. Cocktails-I got a Bloody Mary which was very tomatoey. Basically vodka with tomato juice. The mix they use on the planes is superior to this mix. All in all this was a slightly below average admirals club. If it weren’t for the friendly service it would be 2 stars.

Smaller than some of the other clubs I’ve been too, but without a doubt one of the nicest also. Clean Modern All Necessary Ameneties Nice Snack Bar with Fountain Soda(First I’ve seen) Small but servicable full bar Wait staff friendly and helpful Food Order was Fine Cons Actual menu is a bit limited as they all are and misleading example Deluxe Grilled Cheese on Griddled Pannin Bread. actually served standard Grill Cheese on American Bread. It was good but not as described. All and all certainly no real complaints here.

My oasis from the other world outside the door. The S.F. Admirals club is top-notch and personally my favorite domestic club. Super clean, roomy facility with all the amenities needed.

Compared to many of the Airline club spaces around the world this one is okay. Food selection is pretty crummy: pretzels, crackers, and some fruit. No free booze… waaaaaahhhhhh. Well okay free budwiser… still waaaahhhhh. Plus side is that is well located, quiet, and pretty comfortable.

Pro: Very friendly staff Self-serve coffee and coffee-related products Shower facility available Con: Sub-par drinks selection. Premium drinks are pretty standard for bars. But why are you paying for drinks if you already paid for Admirals Club membership? Restrooms and the two shower facilities are well-hidden Small lounge, can get cramped Two types of snacks and some fruits
