My experience: Great looking furniture, horrible quality and very limited warranty. Not a product I would purchase again.

Beautiful showroom that has most of the B&B collection on display. I was there over a weekend with my dog(carried her) and wasn’t pestered by sales people or completely ignored. A good balance and was even encouraged to come back with my pup. Compared to Dzine the showroom is less artistry, more functional. Sales people more attentive and down to earth. Tips: –Tina helped us and she was fantastic. Extremely helpful and kind. –Street parking is ample. There are meters in front or free parking across the street, in front of the jewelry center. –They have a sale in early October and that usually coincides with floor sample sales.

I love B&B product, but this place is a joke. Charging customers freight when the it’s already paid for by B&B? The owner of this franchise has no shame.(the same owner of that dump around the corner: Arkitektura) Wishing you were Limn and being on the same level are two different things. Order from Diva, Los Angeles

This place have some cool stuff and some from famous designers. But most of them I don’t like it that much. Price is about the same level as Dzine or Limn, but not much of my style compared to them. Showroom is spacious, but don’t have much furniture there. There are maybe one or 2 things that I really like.

OK — this review is based on: customer service and an actual transaction at B&B Italia Store on Alameda Street. My first visit to the store was on Saturday, August 21st. I have been wanting a B&B sofa for a long time, but after icy receptions at Limn and B&B’s policy(don’t know if it’s still in place) of only allowing purchases at authorized retailers specific to the buyer’s zip code, I was turned off to ever getting one without subjecting myself to sales associates’ attitude. I haven’t figured out why customer service in San Francisco can be so sniffy sometimes. Too-hip-for-the-room poseurs aren’t going to get business from me. At B&B I was respectfully greeted and welcomed by Shirin. I told her that I was in the market for a particular model of sofa — George — in a specific material. They don’t currently have the model on display and she went on to tell me that the material that I want is no longer available. Still, I was interested in the two pieces, but I felt that I had to do my homework, and frankly I was surprised to learn that the material was no longer available, so I left a little disappointed. I returned a few days later; I explained my disappointment to Shirin and she recommended that we look through their fabrics for an alternate that could be a candidate. She even offered to cart all of the fabrics outdoors to get a better sense of the colors. She patiently sat with me and selected only the fabrics that she could identify with my specific needs and we were able to narrow it down to two or three choices. She offered me swatches of the fabric and the next day I received an email from B&B’s headquarters explaining why they had discontinued the material that I had originally wanted; the explanation was clear and thorough. Shirin was totally patient and she made sure that I was satisfied with my selections. She sent me as many reconfigured quotes as I requested and she made changes with a smile. This may be one of the first times that I’ve purchased high-end furniture in San Francisco without it being a chore! So an hour and half ago I gave her a deposit for the pieces, and I’ll update this review when B&B in Italy ships their product. One more thing; B&B would only accept a check, no plastic. I’m somewhat put off by that, but that is something to be addressed by B&B, not the sales associates. If you’re serious about shopping for B&B, their store on Alameda Street could be the answer to your needs.

Finally! San Francisco gets a B&B showroom in town(thanks to the folks at Arkitektura who’ve been carrying the brand and from whom I purchased my B&B couch actually). Cool store with cool furniture albeit with the price tag to match(but you get to live with it). I wish I had more room at home to fit all of this in…
