I was here over the weekend watching my giants take on the Philadelphia Phillies. I got some mm mm good garlic fries and tenders. I was helped rather quickly and the speed of the order was on point. They run a tight shift here. It was a shame though that I had to talk so far from my seats to get here though. Anyway, it’s a good stand to go to in the ballpark if you’re looking for some good baseball game eatin.

If you didn’t know, Centerplate is one of the largest hospitality companies in the world, with 250 North American sports, entertainment and convention venues. They are the largest food service provider for the NFL, a major provider to professional baseball, and partnered with five of the top ten most active convention centers( ). Centerplate does an excellent job at AT&T Park!!!

Centerplate is the company responsible for most of the food concessions stands and souvenir concession stands. Let’s talk about the food… oh yeah, the food. The multitude of choices. Anywhere from my personal fave, the Sheboygan Bratwurst to eclectic fare such as Crab sandwiches, garlic fries, and tri-tip sandwiches, to normal ballpark fare like peanuts, popcorn, and hot dogs, they have so many choices that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. You will not be disappointed. Don’t forget to wash down the yumminess with a large selection of alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, and mixed drinks from several full service bars. What better way to celebrate a win by the SF Giants than by sampling all of the culinary delicacies at the park with your friends and/or family. How can you cheer on the 2010NL West Champions(just won the NLDS against the Braves and will soon take on and beat the Phillies in the NLCS… *fingers crossed*) without wearing the Giants’ colors and team wear. There are so many small stands and medium-sized stores conveniently located throughout the park that sell anything Giants. Don’t forget about the large Giants Dugout store in front of McCovey Cove. That one is the largest store onsite. During gameday, the Dugout store can be very crowded but if they don’t have it, chances are, no one has it. Although the prices are high(as expected with any sports team merchandise) you get excellent quality sportswear, souvenirs, and collectible memorabilia at these stores. The employees, in my experience, are all wonderful and extremely friendly. I have not had a bad experience in all the years that I have been to AT&T Park. Customer service is definitely a strong point for Centerplate. Let’s go Giants, LET’S GO!!! GAMEON!!!

For stadium food, it’s as expected. Hot link for $ 6 — probably the standard or the better price. You can pile as much condiment as you like. $ 9 for a 16 oz. beer, decent selection — at least more than just Bud Light. Link or a dog with a beer, it’s one reason for going to the game.

NOTE this review is ONLY for the Cheeseburger Stay away from ordering this at all costs! I didn’t get food poisoning, but this thing is bland beyond belief and IF there is a taste, it definitely isn’t like burger that’s for sure! I love my SF Giants, but this burger has got to go or get another look. I feel like I wasted my $$$ and($ 7) I could not be more unhappy.

When you go to any sporting event at any big venue, you can always expect to get fucked in the ass by the food and clothing vendors. It’s just a given. So when Eugy and I came to AT&T Park and we picked Centerplate to get food from, I was pleasantly surprised. They actually don’t do anything to your ass. Bummer? Maybe a little. But your wallet will thank you. Picked up a kosher beef hotdog for me, polish sausage for Eugy, and 2 Gilroy Garlic Fries. $ 17.50. Not bad at all. The hotdog was YUMMMMMMY… Eugy enjoyed his sausage too. Maybe a little too much. ;) And the Gilroy Garlic fries? omg… They were fantastic. The only thing that would have made them even more heavenly than they already were, would have been a little truffle oil and some shaved parmesan. I mean, we were sitting on the club level. We should have been given some frou frou fries right? This place is good. They also have burgers, chicken sandwiches and some other varieties of sausages. They also sell wine and Bud/Bud Light. All for a very reasonable price.

During the All-Star weekend, my brother got me hooked on the Sheboygan brats that you can find on the 1st level at about 3 different stands. It’s heaven in a bun. Pretty long sausage, which is good enough to impress the ladies. The taste is hard to explain. It’s kinda like the breakfast sausages with a little more mystery to it. Must be more fat. Top it off with your choice of grilled onions, warmed sauerkraut or both. Sheboyg, beer and ballgame — man’s perfect afternoon!
