I was here at 7pm on a Monday but it was not opened. This is already my 2nd attempt to try this place out. They are always closed! Is this place still in business?

Went to get yogurt after reading all the great reviews. So this review is only for yogurt. Originally I went in for the shaved snow but they only had three flavors so I passed on that. The yogurt selection was small, but the reasons for one star is because half of he selections were half melted. We tried almost all of them and none stood out. All the sugar free ones had really weird consistency. I only bought a small cup full of yogurt because I felt bad for sampling some. I would much rather go down the block for some Yogurtland. I really wanted to like this place but couldn’t.

I was thinking that their shaved ice would be like rough ground ice. Surprised to find that it was more on da creamy side. We have fresh fruit and mochi on our creamy shaved ice. There were also self serve yogurt and goodies you could add. The people at the counter were very helpful and nice. Great service!

Good place. It’s clean and employees are okay. Flavours are also okay. I would go again and I would recommend this place to a friend.

This might be an unfair review, because yogurt swirls is the first place I ever tried shaved snow. Since shaved snow is the coolest food I have tried in the past year, yogurt swirls is an automatic 5 stars in my book! We got phở next door and wanted a little something sweet after lunch. Yogurt swirls has frozen yogurt, boba, smoothies and shaved snow. I’m sure everything else is great but the shaved snow is really where it’s at. I don’t even understand what shaved snow is, but I ordered the milk flavor and it tasted like a sweet, fluffy cloud. I topped it with sweetened condensed milk, strawberries and mochi. So good! I’m not sure if I’ll try another flavor next time or just stick with the milk, because it was just so good. It’s now been two days since I tried shaved snow at yogurt swirls, and I still can’t get it out of my head. I talk about it a lot, and find myself trying to find excuses to go back to the area so I can stop in again. Do yourself a favor and try it!

Not a huge fan of yogurt unless I have a craving. That being said this place was awesome. I fell madly in love with the strawberry mango yogurt, fresh fruit, and the price. I learned about tea with Boba and shaved ice. The owners are sweet and like family. This quaint place is ideal for a first date or a girls outing. Whatever the case please enjoy.

Finally got to try this place out. Every time I pass by, it’s either closed or close to empty. Tried the fro-yo. It was OK. Not the best I’ve had. Seems like the consistency is more icy than creamy. they had some interesting flavors, but didn’t really stand out. They had a lot of different toppings but again, nothing really stood out. Friendly staff though. They also sell boba and shaved ice. Also, there’s a $.25 charge for credit card purchases under $ 5. Glad that the cashier told me before I paid. That was a plus.

Perfect day for some yogurt! Visiting a friend in San Diego and stumbled upon this place! Super friendly staff, clean space, and great selection of yogurt! Had the mango shaved snow!!! A must try! Staff were helpful with suggestions. Can never go wrong with some frozen goodness! ^_^ would definitely come back if I’m ever back in the area!

Love that it is self serve but you have to ask for taster cups, a few of the flavors were out which only left ¾ to choose from and there wasn’t much variety. There is no sign to tell you if most of them are fat free, sugar or dairy etc. Not the best choice of toppings either. No almonds at all. Pecans which was strange since not the most popular nut. Asian owned and seemed to be family owned. I see that another Unilocaler said they charged by the cup but that wasn’t the case when we went it. I am a frozen yogurt connoisseur and have tried most of them, from mom and pops to chains. This is one I wouldn’t return to.

Very friendly staff. Yummy yogurt. Not that much toppings compared to other places but my daughter loved their vanilla custard yogurt! Clean place as well.

We come here after getting pizza at best. Good flavor selection. I got taro last time I was there. Not too sweet.

Coconut shaved snow with condensed milk, pineapple, and coconut jelly is delicious! Not too sweet but sweet enough. The snow is a different texture from shaved ice but still refreshing. The Boba taro was also good too! It’s comparable to Bobalicious. Would highly recommend!

I’ve only been here once. It was good. Didn’t have the flavor I like, so I tested out a couple others. Still satisfying. Friendly employee.

The place is nice. me and my friend went there today after movies. their ice cream is not the best I‘ve had, but it‘s still tasted good, and it‘s not expensive. you get 10% off when you check in on Unilocal there.

While I have always liked their frozen yogurt, this review is for the shaved snow. I think it’s pretty hard to find good shave snow in San Diego. I can usually tell if the snow is going to be good when the shavings come out in ribbons or flakes. The ribbons usually indicates that it will be creamy. We tried the Thai tea and green tea. The green tea was far superior to the Thai tea. The green tea came out in ribbons and the Thai tea had some ribbons, but it had flakes, as well. The green tea was creamy and smooth. I liked both, but the green tea was great. I can wait to come back to try other flavors. The plus is that the service is excellent.

Awesome, friendly customer service. It’s right next to Phở Cow Cali so it’s a nice treat after a meal. Every time we stop in, the service is so friendly & personal. They make recommendations, and offer to adjust your tea to your liking after you taste it. They have boba milk tea, shave ice, & self-serve frozen yogurt in a cool modern shop. It’s run exactly the way you should, and it makes me want to keep coming back to help support good local small business owners.

I recommend that everyone try this place out!!! Wide variety of frozen desserts and drinks. The shaved snow is BOMB. Definitely get the large size, which comes with 2 flavors and 2 toppings for only $ 6.99. I love getting the Chamango shaved snow!!! This is a very welcoming family environment. It’s very chill here Decoration is cute and I heard that it will look even cuter soon. Management is on point. The couple that works here is SOCUTE! Overall, this place is awesome and I will definitely come again.

I’ve tried this place out a couple times. The first time I went here, I got the yogurt. It’s the self serve kind where you grab a cup and fill it up with the yogurt of your choice and add any toppings you like. This place is pretty good. It’s nothing that really stands out as great or different. But if you’re in the mood for yogurt, this will definitely satisfy your hunger. I think its 39 cents per oz. I’m not sure how it compares to other yogurt shops but it’s not that expensive. The second time I came here, I saw that they had shaved snow and hawaiian shaved ice. Not sure if this is new or what, but I tried out the shaved snow. They have two sizes, small or large. If you order the large, you get to pick two flavors instead of just one. So I ordered the large and got mango and taro as the worker informed me that these were the more popular flavors. You get to add two toppings and condensed milk on top. I chose mochi and coconut jelly. The flavors were good. It was definitely something different from what you would expect from a yogurt shop. It wasn’t bad but it was great either. I thought it was okay for just giving it a shot and trying something new. I probably wouldn’t order it again and just stick with the yogurt next time. But if you’re into trying out new things, this isn’t so bad and worth trying it out.

Since I gave that other place 5 stars, I felt that I needed to update my rating for this place too considering the fact that I actually prefer Yogurt Swirl to that behemoth of a yogurt place down the road. Sure they’re both good, and my love for frozen yogurt won’t let me discriminate and just choose one winner, but this is a mom and pop shop that deserves to be a strong contender. In fact, the only reason I go to the other place is because whoever I am going with wants to go there. And, as strange at it sounds, I do prefer the ever-so-slightly less creamy texture of the yogurt here. Came in with my nieces, and they thoroughly enjoyed their triple chocolate yogurt with sprinkles and mochi. I got the Italian tart with mochi, mangoes, and coconut jelly(other place doesn’t have coconut jelly). I didn’t even realize they make boba tea and snow ice! I will have to give those a try sometime.
