C’s Ice Cream & Deli

went there tonight for an ice cream sundae and root beer float with my husband and daughter. we LOVE supporting family owned businesses and love getting deli sandwiches. though we did not get sandwiches this time, we will definitely be back for lunch! the food smelled amazing and the man behind the counter (im guessing the owner) was incredibly nice! they have tons of different carbonated beverages (sodas, root beers & fruit club soda brands too). very clean store & well organized! can’t wait to go back! thank you!

OOOHHH man. This place is goooood. I feel thier toasted sandwiches are their best. I love the mom and pop shop feel. the sandwiches are made with care. My fav is the roast beef artichoke, and the chicken Muffuletta.

Been living in SR for years and finally made a stop there. I was pleasantly surprised after walking in after being welcomed by the son in a family owned business. I ordered the Muffaletta (spell?) and a BLTA for my wife both were super tasty and had a large selection of sandwiches. They have craft brews available and next time I’m going to try breakfast there. Really glad to support local and find another gem to choose from in the neighborhood.

Food is really good, prices are a little on the higher side, but always a friendly environment.

I frequent this place since I can walk from work on my lunch break.
Great food — love everything I order — never a single issue or disappointment, and exactly the right price for it — They do too good a job to charge less on a sub, but anymore and I wouldn’t be able to afford a meal out as often on my budget.
Staff is lovely and I am fond of them.

I am not actively religious but they play the music that suits them and you know, that makes me really happy when I go in. Good for them!!!
Great little deli — if you’re in the area, go support a local business by having a nice thick delicious sandwich with chips and a drink!
Oh yea! and the salads are good too! The chili smells amazing but I haven’t had it yet. I will tho. Mark these words. They must serve one bowl of it and then have 9 more orders follow!

The cashier was very welcoming & friendly. I told her it was my first time visiting and she immediately pulled out the menu and gave me recommendations. She also mentioned that I can call in advance if I’m in a hurry, which was helpful. She also asked if I was from the area and gave me a punchcard for a free sandwich after purchasing 10. My sandwich was made within 5 minutes and was delicious! 5 star service and sandwich. :)

love the veggie sandwich on squaw bread! the workers are really nice and they have a great chip selection! they have a frequent customer punch card which is a perk i like because i live close by and i frequent the deli often!

I love this place, I haven’t been going here as much as I would like but every time I’m in the area this is the place i go to when I’m hungry. Every time i walk in I am greeted kindly. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and sodas (especially root beers). My personal favorite is their Philly Cheese steak

I had a wrap, sun chips, and Vitamin water. The wrap was tasty. It’s a cute little place for a lunch break.

Excellent sandwiches. I personally am a huge fan of kettle chips and they probably have close if not all, flavors you can think of. Service was great. Don’t live in the area otherwise I’d be a regular

Had the ATC and the Roast Beef Artichoke and both sandwiches were slammin. The bread is on point whether you get a cold sandwich or hot. Every bite keeps you wondering «why don’t I come here more often?»
Cant wait to come back and slurp down some of their root beer floats!

Ever have one of those afternoons where you feel like a good ol’ fashioned deli sandwich but you are afraid to be disappointed by another hole in the wall? It was one of those afternoons when I stumbled across this little gem.
My opinion — Super friendly service with a menu that is a combination of perfectly simple sandwiches and some uncommon creations that deserve a taste. This place even has ice cream and a decent coffee menu.
My favorite part is the root beer. From more well known brands like Dad’s and Stewart’s, to some quality regionals, you might find a flavor you thought was lost in your childhood.

This place blows any other deli out of the water. Far beyond the best lunch spot in the scripps area.
I was tempted to do four stars only because they really need better staffing. I understand it is a family business, but I have on regular occasions waited 30 minutes for my sandwich– which can be unreasonable if someone only has 30 minutes for lunch.
The food is amazing, the people are great– and this is always my go-​to for lunch, Just make sure to regularly buy your boss coffee because you will need forgiveness for coming back from lunch so late.

Incredible collection of root beers! along with great sandwiches and genuinely great people who own and run it. If you are a root beer lover definitely go out of your way to look at their collection. They have an ever changing fascinating root beer selection of microbrews along with time tested favorites.
A great off the menu sandwich is the hot vegetarian with artichokes.

Amazing selection of root beers, and some ginger beer. If barq, mug, a&w aren’t good enough, this is definitely the place to go to satisfy your root beer nerdy-​ness.

Came here with a friend for the first time. The shop is as small as a 7−11/convenience store, but there is plenty of seating. Root beers align the walls and fill the shelves.
We were immediately greeted by the store owner, who was friendly and very welcoming. We were lucky to get the roast beef artichoke sandwich which was the daily special.
The sandwich was DELICIOUS! The cheese melted as I bit into it and the meat was so tender. Even the bread was toasted to perfection. The combo came with a choice of chips and drink. For the price and the size of the sandwich, I was extremely satisfied.
Will definitely come again when I’m in the area, gotta fill up that sandwich card!

Root beer fans rejoice! C’s Deli has over two dozen bottled root beer selections bottled up for your drinking pleasures. My personal favorite is the darn good butterscotch root beer. Like the name implies, this root beer is darn good and hits the spot.
The sandwiches are filling and made with fresh ingredients. No assembly line style grub here, each one is hand made to order. Don’t like onions, no problem. Want some extra tomato, you got it. The bread is fluffy and fresh, and each sandwich comes with a crispy pickle spear on the side.

I stopped by this deli not knowing what to expect, you know another sandwich shop… not the case here my friends.
So far I’ve tried a few of their subs but have fallen for the Big Jim, I really can’t put my finger on it but it’s like they actually care about the food they make here, it’s almost as if it’s made with love. They also have about 20ish different bottled root beers to enjoy with your food.
I will definitely be coming back for more and recommend this restaurant if you love a good deli sub/​sandwich or hogie, stop by and enjoy a Dang! good root beer.

This place is located within reasonable driving distance from my work, so it’s definitely a good option for sandwiches and salads. I’ve had only the salads here:
Chicken Caesar — This was actually pretty good. Your typical Chicken Caesar with Grilled Chicken.
Bacon Artichoke Salad — I think it sounds better than it tastes. There’s just too much lettuce that it kind of drowned out the taste of the artichoke and bacon.
The guy at the counter is really friendly and enthusiastic though. Always has a smile on his face — definitely adds a friendly vibe. However, the service is a little slow as my co-​workers and I usually go together, and all three of them are always waiting for me because they already got their food (they go to the Mexican taco shop a few doors down).
