Unity Coffee

2 words: FRESH and AWESOME.
I go here everyday because Unity is conveniently located right beneath my office. Eric, Thomas, and Ashley are the nicest people you’ll meet. It’s great to see their friendly, smiling faces every morning when I’ve just arrived to work. The coffee is made-​to-​order and is delicious. My drink of choice is the Mint Chocolate Chiller, which is a cold refreshing drink with mocha and peppermint.
It makes me look forward to coming to work everyday!

I’m very picky with my coffee because I lived in espresso capital of the world Italy for a while. No matter where you go here and how little you pay, the espresso is always outstanding. Italians go to so called «espresso bars» several times a day and the coffee is always fresh. I’ve found a few places in San Diego so far where the coffee is made with the same freshness and love as in Italy and Unity Coffee is one of them. The reason that Unity Coffee it is still there among the big players in the market is simply because the coffee is fresh, the service is good and the owner has done a great job in translating his mission to his company.
The stand is kind of hidden but is located downtown in front of the Bank of America building. I always go here when I have to be in the Downtown area. They have a special drink called ice bombs: espresso with a flavored ice cube in it you’re supposed to drink as a shot. KUSI news thought this was cool, me too.

Great coffee. Great service. Wish my office was closer to it. It blows Starbucks out of the water.
Try the blended fruit drinks. Mmm…
