This store is horrible but I have no choice but to go back as I work in one of the bank buildings across the store. I mobile ordered a tea latte and they gave me a tea. They were out of green tea powder for a few days. Staff are not very kind(not all of them).

Service was slow and the workers were rude. I walked in and wasn’t greeted for at least a minute. He turned around and took our order then took the rest of the lines order. Meanwhile 3 other people were just standing around cleaning, avoiding our cups sitting there. A minute or two later a girl turned around and started our drinks. When she finally gave me my drink, it was wrong, and then she tried telling me I was wrong multiple times. She remade it after rolling her eyes. I go to Starbucks on a daily basis and have never seen such rude team members. Not to mention there was no sense of urgency. Disappointed.

Just stood at the register while 3 employees(who had told me they’d be with me in a moment) cleaned things, made drinks and sandwiches(there were two other customers in the restaurant). I just left after waiting to order for probably 3 or 4 minutes.

On December 10, 2015 at 6:40PM we entered this Starbucks in order to purchase $ 100 in gift cards. We were second in line. As the male clerk was assisting the customer ahead of us we saw a young lady standing on the back counter, apparently taking an inventory of products on a shelf near the front plate glass window. We were very taken aback that this would be acceptable in an eating establishment. There was an additional female employee emptying the pastry display. The male clerk left the register and went to prepare a drink for the first customer. As he was, the counter walking clerk asked for his help to get down. She jumped down with his assisted shoulder and she gave the counter a quick wipe with her towel. He went back to his preparation duties while we stood at the register, still unassisted as the now two female clerks failed to serve, communicate or even make eye contact with us. We waited for more than 5 minutes as they scurried around the back of the register with their more important duties. The young man finally completed the drink and returned to assist us with our purchase. Being a small business owner myself, I can tell you I would have been livid with the food prep counter walking and lack of concern for a waiting customer.

Penni was the sweetest, happiest, most energetic lady! she wasn’t just nice to me but every customer she spoke to. I don’t normally do these but she’s awesome and definitely started my morning off well!

This is a tiny locale with only a handful of tables. There is a lot of foot traffic, as it is located in downtown San Diego and has a lot of patrons from neighboring businesses. The staff is friendly and efficient. However, if you are looking to stay and drink your coffee leisurely, this probably is not the best Starbucks to visit.

This Starbucks is located at the foot of the Procopio building. Given its location in the heart of a major business center, it’s often packed with those waiting to get their caffein fix. The rush hour is generally between 9−10am and again during lunch. I personally go before work around 7:45am and find it to generally have a short line, but many people waiting for their drinks. It’s a small location, so be prepared to get that awkward packed-elevator feeling. I’m often in a rush and sometimes on the cusp of breaking a sweat so I opt to stand next to the fridge to cool down and get to work fresher than a bag of frozen peas. Customer service is great and I’m sure the baristas would be a lot more talkative if they didn’t have a constant barrage of people in suits and interns barking orders for their coffee. In short great location if you work in the area, tiny size, and zero parking.

The slowest service in my life. The man behind the counter in the evening is busy talking to everyone else instead of taking orders. I waited in a line of 4 people for 15 minutes. At least you can count on the coffee!

I go to this starbucks all the time purely based off of convenience. Their staff is half and half as far as customer service goes. They are either right on top of things or rude and chat while I wait to order. I was in there with no one else and there was 3 workers. 2 were talking and completely ignoring me and then the 3rd, who wasn’t even at the front, walked forward and loudly interrupted the other 2 workers saying Oh sorry have you been helped? Other than that, basic Starbucks!

This Starbucks is really nice to go to. I visit regularly and the staff is kind, quick, and accurate. The thing that is different about this starbucks is there is nowhere to sit and hang out as it serve mostly business men and women who are on the go, which is where this starbucks get interesting. Every time I am waiting for my drink I see that there is one drink hanging out at the bar. This is because these business people are too preoccupied with their phones to realize their name has been called multiple times. Just yesterday, George was playing on his phone and missed his named for his caramel frap.(Nice drink George. Are you on your way to a business meeting or JV cheerleading practice?) Coincidently, my name was called as George was approaching the bar to ask if his drink was ready or not. The barista told him he had called his name a couple times. George was mad and left. I quickly grabbed my black coffee(black coffee cause I’m not a high-school girl, George.) and I pursued George to see if the tiff with the barista affected his mood after he left the shop. The tiff did affect. George was talking to very loudly to his co-worker about how they’re going to be late now because the«Funky barista is an idiot.» I wasn’t able to hear clearly, he may have not said«Funky.» Also, while I was waiting for my coffee, a homeless man walked in and asked for a cup of ice with a Mikes Hard Lemonade in his hand. He said please and thank you and asked the barista to please finish others drinks before helping him. The barista responded to a positive attitude and served him first. Another time I was there I saw a mid-aged woman with silver Sisqo hair in a Hillary Clinton business suit. This lady definitely was the one who gets drunk at the Christmas party and ends up showing everyone her undies. She also didn’t hear her drink being called. However, if you don’t believe the clients at this starbucks are as I make them out to be, please read some of the other Unilocal reviews. I think these people should be required to work at starbucks before they write bad reviews.

Once again, I go in to order my very rare«special drink» and a young hispanic barista completely butchers it. I am officially done with Starbucks. It’s no better than McDonalds.

Great people, great services! This is a very busy Starbucks and the very small location doesn’t makes it easier, but people who work here really enjoy their work and they do their best to deliver the best services for the guest!

I work right across the street from this starbucks and they are the absolute best! My boss always has me running across the street daily to grab him an iced tea, almost all of the baristas see me and know exactly what I came for. I call in to order the travelers of coffee and treats to go when we have clients in town and they always have it ready to go before I even arrive to pick it up. They are awesome! Highly recommend

I never thought I would go out of my way to write a one star review for a Starbucks, but I felt so disappointed. Plus I don’t feel bad because there are already tons of reviews for how bad this location is. I did not realize that this was not a regular location with tables, chairs, and WiFi. It’s more for corporate offices to pick up coffee and such in the morning Regardless, I just ordered a vanilla iced coffee, and it was nothing close to what any vanilla iced coffee should taste like. The service was mediocre, and the experience was not very Starbucks like. So sad.

There’s almost always a line in the mornings due to all the offices nearby. I’ve always found the baristas here to be friendly and relatively quick with drink orders. They recognize most of the regulars but can sometimes get backed up with group orders. No seating inside, some next door at Grab-N-Go and the waiting/coffee prep area can get crowded due to waiting on drinks to come out.

I realize this location is catered to only corporate office associates so they may be used to the same order being a medium coffee. Since this Starbucks is so close I find it to be convenient however, they seem to consistently mess up my drink orders(food is exempt). The employees should spend time understanding/repeating back the order to ensure it’s right he first time instead of waisting time making two drinks or upsetting those like myself who don’t have the time to wait for them to remake it. Bottom line: I’ve never experienced a Starbucks quite like this one and I will walk over to Strata or drive to another Starbucks to avoid any rogue simple tasks and attitude from employees.

An average Starbucks that is conveniently located. I wish that Downtown San Diego would have more independently owner coffee shops, but Starbucks is better than caffeine deprivation, and they do the job. It is a clean place considering that is frequented by so many people and bathrooms are always clean too. It has pleasant view to the nightlife if you happen to be there before they close at 10pm.
