The UPS Store

On Monday, December 7 I walked into this UPS store to send my niece a birthday gift. Her birthday was the following Tuesday, December 13. The person assisting me (mentioned in prior reviews) had a very hard creating the shipment. This was frustrating to me since I ship for work purposes daily using FedEx. After more than 30 minutes of trying, she told me she had to charge me more than the actual weight because it was the only way she could create the label. So I paid $ 30 for a tiny envelope with an anklet. I was late and tired and at least this way it would make it on time, or maybe the day after (4 to 7 business days) so I agreed. I left with the receipt. When I went online to track the package, it dawned upon me that the she had shipped it with USPS! I was floored. Why would I go to the UPS store if I wanted to use the US Post Office? Today is Tuesday December 22 and the gift has still not arrived. I am very disappointed and would advise anyone who is considering coming to this store to go somewhere else. Find a place where the service is professional and experienced and the staff knows how to ship things!

Yet another disappointment!
I’m so sick of this shitty location and poor customer service. I don’t know who this business is ran by but I’m convinced she’s racist. This time I was with my boyfriend and in a rush so I couldn’t drive to where I normally go. I walk in behind an older man «Mr. Jenner «she greets him and says oh hi Mr. Jenner but doesn’t say a word to me. I’m here to send a shirt she says grab the small bag (nothing in there looks like a damn bag instead and envelope) so as she’s pointing I’m confused at what she’s referring to she continues to point and say «THE SMALL THE SMALL THE SMALL «like how about you come from behind the counter and do your job.
I swore by myself they’d never get my business but I do not Cee how much of a rush I’m in ill never ever go to this location ever again in my life.
Last time I went early in the morning today I’m in at 4:30 SCREW THIS HORRIBLY RAN/​MANAGED location.
They need to do something

Loretta is one of the best people working in a customer service position that I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Loretta not only helped me mail the letter i needed to send but was a pleasure to deal with. She helped me and did not rush me eventhough it was closing time. On a seperate occasion Loretta helped me with a botched passport picture that was taken at a different UPS location.

Rip off!!! Went to print one single piece of paper since my printer broke. Called the store to see if I could email the file to them and pick it up in the store. The staff was nice, so no complaints there, but when she told me my total I was blown away– $ 2.11! For one single sheet of paper with black and white text. The charge included a $ 2 fee to «use the computer» to print the file from the email. Then the print out cost $.11. I could not believe they were charging me $ 2 to use their computer when I didn’t even use the computer! $ 2 isn’t a lot of money, especially if you were going to print a huge file with many sheets of paper, but this was one peace of paper. They should only charge that fee if the number of pages to print are 5, 10, or 15 pages or more or something!

Incompetent and rude staff. The woman I dealt with seemed really pissed off that I was sending a large package back that I never opened. Really? It’s not like you make commission or I’m taking money out of your pocket. I refused a package. Last time I checked, that’s perfectly legal.
The package said Return To Sender in big letters and I wrote down the Return Authorization number in Sharpie.
Well, the next day, I see that same damn package on my doorstep. I was fuming!
I took it to a different UPS Store a little further away. The guy over there apologized and scratched out my address so it wouldn’t happen again. Sheesh!

Friendly, Helpful, and Quick.
Just how I like it when I want to send something! The woman working helped me tape up my package, printed my receipt and I was off.
The work place was organized and clean.
Can’t get any better than great service and knowing your package is in good hands!

My family and myself visit this location pretty much weekly to drop off packages of all sort (UPS and USPS) they accept them and we are out the door with no trouble at all. I have never had to wait more than a minute for someone to help me. The staff is friendly and helpful, I have had nothing but good experiences here. Especially in comparison to the USPS post office where the staff is less-​than-​helpful (Im sure you know what I mean if you’ve ever visited the USPS down the street from here). I was surprised to see some of the low ratings and thought I should set potential customers straight, this is a great business.

Harsh reviews, but don’t knock this place. Noone ever bothers to give a review of a public restroom, but yet, they are necessary and useful things. So too, the UPS store. SO here I go. I have come here many times to notarize documents and they always have a notary on hand who charges $ 10. Very convenient, easy and professional. No need to consult an attorney at $ 150+/hr. I have always been treated with respect and kindness. Parking out front is always easy, they are incredibly accommodating and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 min for service.
When you read these neg reviews, you have to also realize that mistakes happen everywhere, and the angriest people are usually the most likely to write reviews. I feel bad for them, but I am so grateful this place exists.

Super rude here. Woman helping got so frustrated with packaging our item she started to sigh loudly, roll her eyes, and then snap at us when we asked about the different prices for the shipping options.

Lost package and mis-​delivered express mail. Owner of store completely unhelpful in dispute process with UPS.
Find a different UPS Store. I did.

They lost my car key with remote and everything, only tried to deliver it to me once and couldn’t explain why they only tried once.
Also they lied to me more than once in the dispute process with UPS to get money from them for me to replace my stuff.
Not honest people I can tell you that!

On my last visit, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I had an arm full of wrapped presents, a box, and a misbehaving preschool aged child. The clerk took everything out of my arms, taped and packed my box, and got it shipped out to my family. I really appreciated that she was able to recognize that I was overwhelmed and give me the help that I needed that day.
