We did a chocolate making class here and it was a blast! You can bring in booze and make chocolates! What could be better! We got to make two different types of chocolates and we could put any design on them and any fillings we wanted… Everyone was so impressed when I brought them out for a couple BBQs… I highly recommend getting chocolates from them when you need a sweet treat, and if you can get a group together, do a class!

My husband bought me some sweet treats from this small business in Clairemont! I haven’t been to the location, but am soon feeling that I need to based on what my husband brought home. He bought me the milk chocolate hazelnut, lavender and rice crispies chocolates. The milk chocolate was so smooth and rich, and each of the chocolate packs had some sort of crunch or rice crispy in them. Evidently, my husband and his staff got a tour and education as to how their chocolates are made. I can only imagine the yummy smell and samples galore!!! Can’t wait to visit this place myself.

Sweet Petite is a hidden gem of Clairemont! I’m so excited that this little shop is in my neighborhood. I stopped in on Monday afternoon because I wanted to send a DC area friends some chocolate that could be found only in San Diego. Mission accomplished! Nancy helped me find the perfect gifts and let me sample everything. I agree with William, the chocolate is to die for. The chocolates have the prettiest patterns on them, too. Sweet Petite is also the perfect place for a seasonal chocolate gift(e.g. chocolate marshmallow bunnies, lollipops with Easter eggs and crosses on them), and their chocolate barks come in about 20 unique flavors. I will definitely be returning here to buy more gifts(for others and myself). Thank you, Sweet Petite!

I am not a lover of sweets however when it comes to Sweet Petite Confections I think I have an addiction. This is not your regular over the counter type of chocolate this is gourmet. Everything is handmade at the store and the owner will let you sample the flavors. Their are bon bons, truffles, bark and so much more. Their are seasonal as well as special occasion chocolates. As for flavors, you name it this store carries it. However I must admit my favorite is the salted caramel. I recently had the bark with almonds, I could not put it down, The chocolate had the taste of decadence — rich and creamy goodness in my mouth. Their was a beautiful design on the bark… it almost looked to good to eat however that did not stop me. I’ve also tried the individual six piece of individual flavors. Each had it’s own unique taste I don’t know which was my favorite. If you are looking for something special this is the place to go.

Found this neighborhood shop by accident and I’m so glad I did! Not a huge selection, but what they had was delicious. There were two very nice ladies working who were very helpful and generous with samples to help me decide which flavors to choose. Support local small businesses — yay!

I rarely get a sweet tooth. I rarely get lost. Today I found myself in both conditions. Today I unknowingly found myself in the best confectionary shop I’ve ever been in. The chocolate is to DIE for. There is dark, milk, and white chocolate(as well as jelly beans and other treats) of all varieties, many are filled with dried fruits, marshmallows, and pop rocks. There is even a chocolate bar in the shape of Han Solo frozen in carbonite! The best part is that the chocolate is not overwhelmingly sweet and not too overly bitter. It is perfectly smooth on the palate. I will definitely be treating myself and my family to this sweet little surprise for many years to come.
