Storage West is:
1. Affordable
2. Clean
3. Safe for your items
4. Friendly STAFF (that should be number one)
I am really happy i googled this and it came up. I am not sure about prices goign up which is scary but for now, things are GREAT !

Things you should know about Storage West —
1. They’re super accommodating to what your needs are
2. You can’t really set up a reservation online, but you might be able to over the phone
3. Their rent goes up every few months, the longer you stay there.
4. You can’t be there after 6pm without paying like, $ 1 a minute
5. Unique couple run the place and are super friendly. When I was moving to San Diego, she let me send my boxes to the address before I actually arrived and put them in the unit for me once they arrived. This is probably not common practice, but it was what I needed at the time.
6. It’s far from the beaches
7. It gets BLAZING hot in this part of town during the summer. So, come super early if you plan on doing some moving around.
8. The units are not climate controlled — neither are the hallways between them. Also — very hot.
9. They’re one of the most (if not THE most) expensive units in San Diego — but they offer… I’m not sure what their superior feature is over other storage units. I’d suggest great personalized service. Maybe security? The lady knows the name and damn near occupation of everyone in every unit. That may or may not be important to you.
10. Single story units — so no stairs/​elevators.
11. Smaller units, higher price. I’m leaving them after my «rent» just got raised to $ 59 a month in a 5×5 space to a 5×10 for the same price. Indoors. *shrug*
12. They get 4 stars for making the transition from the midwest to San Diego smoother for me while no other company in San Diego gave a good goddamn.
