I see it closed down to move to a new location across the street.

This is my absolute favorite Starbucks to go to. Although it’s on the opposite side of MM for me, I’d drive to this one rather than the one that’s just a few blocks from my house, inside the Marketplace next to Cold Stone. Everyone that works here is friendly and fast with their service. I noticed they have some new employees, but I have no doubt that they will train them to be fast & efficient as well I never have any issues with my orders and if there is, they are always willing to remake it so it’s just right. I usually go before work around 7:30 — 7:45ish and for the most part it’s pretty busy but they get the line down super fast so I’m never in there longer than 5 minutes. Some of them even remember my name and my order and that’s always a plus for an(almost regular) customer. :-)

I hate Starbucks but the hunnies love it so here I am! This location is in the Mira Mesa mall. There’s always these old Filipino guys playing chess that’ll check you out and watch you as you order your coffee. This place gets super busy right after the high school and middle school gets out so avoid 2:30 — 3:30pm here. Try the twix frapp!

This is the greatest starbucks! All of the baristas are helpful and very fast. It’s definitely not your average Starbucks, the everyone there is always having a good time employees and customers. And the store manager is the best!

Not a «perfect» Starbucks. Got it. It’s quirky, and I like it for that reason. This location is essentially a training ground for new Starbucks baristas– They have several employees who are consistently there to help you, but there is also an ever changing slot or two reserved for employees in training. They gotta do it somewhere and I don’t mind if a new hire learns the ropes by making my drinks. I’ve gotten some free beverages in the bargain, because an order or two inevitably gets fudged. That’s a pretty decent silver lining. I don’t mind the Filipino guys– My chess game has really improved since coming here.

Excellent place to play chess and learn. I just spent whole morning playing chess there and these guys were so welcoming. I had my toddler daughter with me and it was no problem. I would come back again for some coffee and chess.

The only reason this is a 3star is because of the mobile order. I love that when I come pick up drink it’s already on the pick-up counter, unlike some Starbucks which I have to wait a while or ask for my order. However, there was one morning that made me really dislike this place. I live in the area and have been coming here since I was 13yrs. It really pissed me off when they ask me if I went to the correct Starbucks for my order even though I had showed them my order on the app, Then I had to wait for it to be made again. They didn’t once apologize for the mistake. And made it seem like it was my fault. And today they messed up my order. My coffee tastes like shit. Thanks

The woman handing out the drinks right now gave me some MAJOR attitude! I had asked if the bag that was left out was mine(oddly enough they usually hand the bag of food to you as oppose to leaving it there on the counter up for grabs) since I got the egg sandwich but there was no name written and she said, «I don’t know» then proceeded to do something else. I stood there and watched her as she did her own thing. The least you could do was check it or kindly let me know you will get back to me upon my question?

Consistently crappy drinks!!! When I go to Starbucks it is to treat myself to a fancy espresso creation which I couldn’t otherwise make for myself at home. My drink order runs me between $ 5.45 and $ 6.05 depending on the cashier. I never pay the same twice for the same drink here. That’s frustrating. 4 out of 5 times my drink is made with cows milk when I specifically ask for soy, due to lactose intolerance… Yet. I get cows milk. The sugar free cinnamon dulce syrup has often gone bad and I can tell because it starts to taste like raspberry syrup at that point. I give them two stars because their line moves quickly and someone usually steps up and makes a decent latte the second time around.

So after the library. I head over here in hopes to get the rest of my work done. This has got to be one of the loudest Starbucks around. I bought a drink, sat inside. Employees screaming at one another and being loud and obnoxious. They would talk about Customers once they left. This place gets two thumbs …

The worst starbuck!!! Bad service! I ordered ice green tea latte. They just pour milk syrup and then green tea powder on the top. No mixing or blending. How can I drink that? I went there 2 times and got the same thing. Can you imagine when we drink and got a big powder green tea ball in your mouth yak!!! I won’t go back again

I’m one of those Starbucks lovers and I will find my way to get my cup of coffee! I’ve been coming here often since I’m always in the area. This Starbucks does tend to get busy and heck I think it stays busy! But I know the trick… Starbucks mobile has helped me save time and they’re extremely efficient when ordered through the Starbucks app! :-)

Not my usual cup of coffee. I am faithful to the Westview Parkway store, but sadly, that location is under renovation. Well, probably not sadly. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen there. BUT, I have to write a review. I have to be happy that this store doesn’t charge extra for soy with my Caramel Macchiato. Fifty cents adds up over time. I am pleased with that. My barista today was Karlee. She’s got a friendly face, and good demeanor. My cashier today seemed a little inexperienced with the POS system. In fact, everyone on staff right now seems a little inexperienced. All new faces since the last time I came here about 3 months ago. I want to give this place 5 stars. I’ll be coming here until my regular store reopens. Note: lots of retired Filipino men are essentially hanging out here, every day. Often times they don’t get much more than a free water from the bar. Want to sit outside? Good luck.

Location is convenient, near the Vons, Chipotle, Marshall’s shopping center etc. This one is the only standalone Starbucks for a few blocks. That being said, they should probably have more space inside but they don’t. And the outside tables are always taken up by the same«old men gang» that everyone else mentions. Service is ok. Pretty slow, but that hasn’t bothered me the last couple of times I have been there. I just wouldn’t go in the morning. They should have the prices for the Mini frappucinos up, because if I’d known it cost $ 4.25 for a tiny cup, I would have paid $.20 more for the next size up. I’m pretty sure it’s smaller than 10 oz. I hardly ever get frappucinos so I don’t notice their prices, but this was the first time I really understood the gripe that most people have about Starbucks being overpriced. The new flavors weren’t bad. We tried the caramel cocoa cluster(very good) and the cinnamon roll(imagine drinking a Cinnabon treat). I’m sure I will be back for my usual drinks, but I won’t do so if I’m in a hurry.

This place is often very crowded. Most of the times the tables outside are taken by old filipino men playing chess while drinking coffee. Parking his often time hard to find due to the plaza being so busy. I often come here in the morning on my way to work. During this time it is pretty much dead, usually around 530 – 6. Workers always provide me with fast and friendly service. My go-to drink would have to be the ice coffee, simple yet delicious. I would definetly recommend this place for a quick drink, rather than a sit down type of place.

Never disappoints. Even though the parking lot was full, inside not so much. By the time I got in line there was only one other person. This raining weather made me crave a cold drink. So i ordered my favorite ginger ale, which some Starbucks don’t even make… so sad! A venti is under $ 5& I told the Batista that I’d give him some change… taking out my dimes hahah. He was nice and he joked with me about my purse not being heavy. I enjoy going to coffee shops where baristas are friendly & can tell they enjoy their job. Love this ginger ale & cheaper than getting smoothie for $ 5

First off, I’m definitely one of those«Starbucks lovers» that TSwift sings about. LOL. I’ve been coming to this location since senior year in high school when I would sacrifice being a little late to first period to get my frap fix. Mmmh, good times. Location is central and parking is typically very easy, it only fills up on special occasions like the MM Street Fair or the 4th of July. Service is fast and the staff is super friendly. My bf and I are very cordial with the regular staff who recognize us. I’ve come in the mornings around 730ish and it’s very hit or miss in regards to how busy they are, I’ve waited behind 10 people for my drink, while other times I’m in and out in like 3 minutes. But in general they don’t get too busy. This location has 1 or 2 bigger tables suitable for studying, otherwise there are about 5 or so smaller individual tables. This location is not great for study groups but it’s awesome for just picking up a drink to go! :)

Fast, friendly service, most of the time. If you’re looking to grab a table with your coffee and maybe study or do business, there aren’t that many tables inside. Outlets for your electronics are also very limited. I’d suggest to go to the Westview Pkwy location for a sit down deal. However, this is a great location if you’re just grabbing a drink on the go.

Service is quick, and overall the servers are good. There are two individuals in particular that are not friendly… a man and a woman. However, their counterparts make up for them! The service is efficient considering for a small place, they get super busy in the morning. I come here every morning for my cup of joe! I’d recommend it if you’re just passing through. It’s not a place to study. It’s small, cramped and noisy. Plus, outdoors there is no place to go because as mentioned in other reviews, there are always a group of older men here hanging out and smoking right outside the establishment. If you’re passing through, hit it up. Wanna hang around? Definitely move on.

Filipino Uncles posted up outside of this location, ALL day… it’s really strange. I’ve been in this center before work, during lunch, and after work and it’s best in the morning. This is the only time of day I’d prefer to be at this Starbucks location, otherwise there are others down the street(It’s Mira Mesa Blvd after all) Come here often enough on my way to work, no crowds, quick service, drinks made well. Enough said. That’s a wrap.(can’t write reviews to EVERY Starbucks I’ve ever been too, so that’s why this is a quick note)
