My friend raved about Sipz so I had to try it, particularly because she said the gf/vegan options were plentiful. Parking is tricky in North Park, but I used the big parking structure down the street, which was totally fine. Was seated right away even though I told them I was taking it to go and they offered water while I waited. The hostess answered all my questions and the food came out incredibly quick. I got the sweet and sour shrimp gf. It was good, not amazing but the portions were large. My friend got the crispy tofu with wontons and loved it. Neither of us could finish our meals they were so big. We both got the peanut butter cup dessert which we could have shared but decided against. It was so rich but amazingly good. Good service, fair prices, and accommodating staff. Can’t wait to try something else from them.

This was the place that introduced me to the all mighty drunken noodle and fresh spring rolls! Can’t believe that I went 20 years of my life without the holyness of drunken noodle!!! Now I dedicate the rest of my life to make up for it! Seriously though this spot is so cute! And the food is absolutely amazing you can’t tell its vegan at all! Oh and a must if you have a sweet tooth. Such delish bake goods. Prices are reasonable! I have no complaints all good vibes here.

I tried one of almost every sushi roll here and they ranged from good to meh. Nothing real fantastic however, my husband tried the Bun noodle salad and said that was a really good dish. The service is pretty bad but overall the atmosphere is a fun one. It’s a nice place to sit down and talk.

Very disgusting costumer service, blonde lady came to table to drop off food and I asked if the plate was fattening and she rudely said«dont know what your talking about» with an attitude and rolled her eyes, and just left. She clearly hates working here and clearly hates her job. Arriving at this place I felt so unwelcomed because of her attitude, it was as if she was forced to say hi or welcome and she sighed when we arrived, FIRSTANDLASTTIMECOMINGHERE. To the owner of this place, hire people that are enthusiastic about working here or at least tries. You are losing money. Wasted my money here.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in San Diego. The food is delicious! We ordered the California Roll, Dynamite Roll, Sweet Potato Fries, Lettuce Wraps, Green Smoothie, Thai Tea, & the Vegan Chocolate Cake. All of our food was out in a few minutes and everything tasted wonderful. In addition, our server was nice & friendly! I totally recommend this place!

I ordered a simple Teriyaki roll & the Sipz roll & took me an hour to receive my order. When it was brought to me. it looked like something I would find at a grocery store. Something so easy and took an hour. Not coming back here. And no discount given!

I really liked Sipz! Despite the hipster locale, you do get an excellent experience. I was a little earlier than my friends, and so had a chance to savour the atmosphere before they arrived. I ordered the Fuzion rolls to start and they were light and brilliantly fresh — the ‘beef’ wasn’t a significant flavour but the satay sauce was yummy. I then figured I’d go with a slightly richer item and picked the Cha Siu which has always looked interesting when I have seen carnivores eat it. And I have to say it was phenomenal! I loved the chewy, spiciness of it and despite being full after eating half of it, I couldn’t help picking at more! Will def come back and order other items, alongside getting the Cha Siu again: D

I love coming in here. On my Tinder dates, because Sipz is a safe place for me and makes me feel comfortable in very nervous situations. It makes me feel warm, kinda like being in a forest with Heather Locklear, where I am very safe, and warm. I like to go in and see Bidi, because he always takes care of us, and there is usually cool music playing when he is there. I usually order the peppered pork, and Tinderella gets the chow mein. Or a miso. Although I may not always feel the love from my Tinder dates, I always feel the love from Sipz, and my peppered pork. Sometimes it is so good that I cry, but it’s ok. It just adds a little extra salt to my peppered pork, because peppered pork understands me, I mean, like, really gets me, and that’s more than I can say for my chicken Tinder dates.

Delicious food; Pleasant atmosphere; Friendly, authentic staff. I am a vegan, so I obviously appreciated their skills with vegetables. It’s nice to have a hearty dish, even without the addition of tofu. The eggplant dish with plant-based oyster sauce was bursting with flavor. I brought a carnist friend along with me who thoroughly enjoyed one of the rice noodle dishes. I only regret is that I stopped here for lunch feeling only moderately hungry, as I would’ve liked to have ordered more. Next time…

Meh. I can’t get excited about this place. They have an overwhelming selection of vegan and vegetarian food, but much of it seems to be average or so-so, not what I am looking for when I go out to eat. I had the vegan crab rangoons, supposedly with cream cheese but they were so dried out that you couldn’t tell what dry tofu — like substance was inside. In exchange, the friendly waitress gave me a free oatmeal cookie, which was nice. The cookie was fine but basic. I also had the salt and pepper shrimp plate which ce with lettuce and rice and some hyper salty huge bowl of brown sauce. It was odd but okay.

Doesn’t matter if you’re vegetarian or not, this is one of the most delicious place you can eat at in North Park or San Diego for that matter. Delicious. Great prices. Super nice staff. Don’t have a single complaint. Perfecto.

I love this place. If I could eat here every day I would. My favorite is salt and pepper tofu, they give you more garlic here than the clairemont location. The Tj roll is awesome. The mango and sweet rice is amazing too.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write this review! I went to this location about a month ago and it’s soooo good! I believe I ordered the crunchy chow mien and the quantity was so big and delicious! We also ordered the drumsticks appetizer and they look like mini chicken drumsticks it was crazy and they are also a must have! Overall check this place out. I wish Seattle had more options like these!!!

Sipz is one of my favorite restaurants. I have tried various dishes and my favorite is probably the tangy orange chicken. I am always able to take to my food home because they give you a nice amount. This Sipz only has street parking so depending on the time you go it may be a challenge to find a spot.

I’ve been to SipZ a couple of times now, and as a previous vegan and restarting vegetarian, I believe it is safe to say that this is some of the best vegan/vegetarian food I have come into contact with. Not only is it good because it is always fresh, and always tasty, but it’s good because the service is always perfect. Not only do they give you your time to order, but they bring drinks, refill drinks, bring appetizers, etc, without you feeling rushed. As well as the great food and fantastic customer service, the music in SipZ is always perfect. Keeps a mellow yet fun vibe at all times and never too loud to the point to where you can’t focus on your conversation with who you’re speaking with. Overall, SipZ is definitely the place to go, even if you aren’t vegan or vegetarian, and it’s a 10⁄10 every time from me.

Sipz is our go to place for great cost effective lunch and dinner! We love their Pad Thai with Extra Veggies and the Crispy Spring Rolls… I have not strayed from those. Also, they have a pretty good Sushi. Hopefully, they’ll add some tempura rolls to the list soon.

I love it here and I’m not even a vegetarian! Some of my favorites are the sweet potato fries, sushi, salt & pepper, boba and coconut cake. Everyone there is very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere :)

I decided to take a detour from The Loving Hut and wanted to try this place out. I’ve been a vegetarian for 10 years now so I expected good quality tasting food. We started the meal off with the crispy rolls and it was great. I wouldn’t expect anything less that’s deep fried. We also got a sweet bun and it was dry and had no real flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Kung pao chicken and I ordered the orange chicken. My plate tasted too artificial and the syrup they used was too overpowering. The Kung pao chicken tasted better but still had that overpowering flavor sauce. Service was great but the quality of the food could be improved a lot more. I’ve been to tons of vegan/vegetarian restaurants and this place really needed to revamp the menu and do some taste testing themselves.
