Lincoln, Lincoln, LINCOLN! By far the coolest person on the planet that just so happens to work at a pizza spot. PIZZA is my favorite and this place is amazing. You’ll enjoy patio seating with heat if you need and front row to the TV for any sports or special events you don’t want to miss out in. Try their version of ‘pigs in a blanket’ I forget the name but, they’re deliiisshhh.

Great meal last night Bennie made the pizza and as always was perfect. I had the Lincoln pizza with the must have fire sticks appetizers. Racer five ipa. Great atmosphere and everyone is in a great mood and friendly. That mood is contagious and rubs off on the customers.

Cute and cozy little red house. awesome wait staff, Lincoln was very entertaining and helped us decide which items to order. We got the maple brie cheese appetizer and the artichoke dip, both delicious. Pizza was great as well. Prices were great, totally recommend going for Happy Hour! We will back soon! Thx Lincoln!

I’ve tried a lot of gluten-free crusts and have only come across a handful that actually taste good! Red House Pizza is the first pizza place in San Diego I’ve tried that has genuinely delicious gluten-free crust. I ordered a gluten-free«Uptown Pizza»(white sauce, gluten-free meatballs, spinach, pickled red onions, portobella, plum tomatoes, ricotta, mozzarella & fresh basil) and my husband ordered a traditional crust«Simply Pizza»(red sauce, mozzarella & fresh basil) with pepperoni and sausage. We both absolutely loved our pizzas and will be visiting Red House Pizza again! I am excited to try the«Illinois» and«La Blanca».

When you walk inside Red House Pizza it has all the charm and cozy feel you’d expect by walking by. We experienced super friendly and fast service. For dinner we ordered the Boulevard(Supreme) pizza and cheesy garlic bread. Everything was finished by the time we left and there was no heavy feeling leftover from excessive grease. The food was made with fresh ingredients and not overdone. I’ll save the fifth star for future visits. ;)

Let me start of by saying that the pizza taste really good. The reason for the 3 star rating is that they were really stingy with the pizza sauce. At least three of the slices had no sauce and very little cheese. I would try them again though because hopefully if I ask for more sauce next time it will solve the problem I had.

Friendly service, good pizza, reasonable prices. Even though they were busy the service didn’t seem to suffer. We will be back! Thanks you guys for making University Heights better!

Love, love, love the GF pizza here. I get the Lincoln on a large GF crust almost every Sunday. And you can actually get a large GF Pizza! Also has a great selection of GF pasta and sandwhiches but what makes this place my favorite is how incredibly nice the staff is every time. I have never walked in and not been greeted with a smile. Even when all those guys are busy running around I am always acknowledged and served immediately. My friends all go here too and they also have nothing but good things to say about the food and the customer service.

Red House is a fun and cozy space with great employees. For my taste, the pizza was average. Eggplant«lasagna» was a lot of veggies cut up and stacked with cheese & fairly bland marinara(canned?). Tasted a little like more of the ingredients came straight out of a can than straight out of a field… but that’s pure speculation. Lot’s of good beer on draft, a few TV’s. On the pricey side for a non-wood-fired joint, with a 10″ pizza, eggplant lasagna &2 beers, you’re in over $ 35.

Not much worse than having a sick kiddo on vacation, but since that led to me getting take out pizza here, it is quite a bit better! The woman who answered the phone was super pleasant and helpful. The rest of the folks working were also super pleasant when my husband picked up our order. And the food, well, YUM! Had the firesticks, snack sized pepperoni, and a siagon. Perfect heat, excellent flavor. Wish I could’ve dined in, but so good, either way! If I was local, I’d eat here once a week!

Pizza was good, waiter was terrible. The vegan pizza(Landis I think) was actually pretty gd. Usually vegan cheese doesn’t do it 4 me, but it was actually tasty. I do not recommend the artichoke dip, it was flavorful but VERYGREASY parking is as expected Sit outside. It’s nicer

We couldn’t decide where to go for dinner one night and we ended up at Red House Pizza. It was about an hour before they close and it was still pretty busy. We got the pigs in a hood, snack size pepperoni and sausage and buffalo pizza. Drew was such a nice guy. We ordered Table beer but since it wasn’t a full pour, he gave the last of it to us. We didn’t know what to expect since it was our first time here but we were clearly missing out. The dough is what separates their pizza from the rest. It was light, dough-y and savory. Their sausage had the right amount of spices and the pizza was awesome. I was worried of red onions but it gave the pizza the right balance of flavors. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area. This place is a hidden gem in University Heights. I can’t wait to try their other pizzas and I heard their tiramisu is the bomb!

If I were to write a review based on my initial upset at the fact that they only deliver in a 10ish block radius, and not anywhere in Mission Valley, it would not be 4 star. But I’m sure they have their reasons and I honestly can’t fault them for it. The review had to be based on their service, food, and the restaurant itself. All pretty fantastic. I ordered a side of garlic cheese bread and a 10″ Saigon. Other reviews said the cheese bread was great and I thought it was just okay. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. The bread itself was great. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. But I didn’t care too much for the cheese on it. And I love cheese, so I’m not sure what was up with that. The pizza was excellent. I had hesitated that a sriracha/spicy marinated pork belly/jalapeños might be too hot of a combination(just depending on how much of each was on there), but it was just right. There was a slight sweetness from the carrots and, arguably, the cilantro that balanced all the flavors out. Admittedly, I love food but have never had pork belly until this pizza. It was delicious and I would eat handfuls of it from them if they’d allow me to. The service was prompt and the staff was pretty friendly. I was offered a table and a glass of water even though I got my order to go. My fellow got the leftovers of the pizza and bread for his late night dinner and said it was the best pizza he’s had down here so far.

Decided to walk around university heights and try a new restaurant. We stumbled upon Red House Pizza and gave it a go. It looked like a cute spot with a great atmosphere… And it was! We had the artichoke dip to start and we were not disappointed. It was all kinds of garlic/artichoke goodness, and we even saved the extra bit we had leftover and put it on our pizza. We split the boulevard pizza and it was fantastic. You could tell the ingredients were of high quality and that everything was made fresh. I really liked the traditional crust and the taste of the sauce. My friend, who always puts ranch on their pizza, ditched it this round because he wanted to taste all the flavors. Trust me, that speaks volumes. Overall, a great pie! The vibe here was great. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our servers were Giancarlo and Drew. Giancarlo was so, so very kind and paid great attention to detail on our order. He checked in on us and made sure we were happy. Drew was also very helpful and checked in on us. He made us laugh and helped us with anything we needed. Can’t complain. I really like this place!

I decided to skip my normal pizza routines and try this place as it is well received and right down the street from my house. I have to tell you it was one of the best pizza related decisions I have ever made, and there have been a lot of them! I was enjoying a relaxing Sunday with the misses and the pitbull, and I had an overwhelming craving for a specific pizza that I used to get back on the east coast. Meatball and ricotta cheese, standard crust and red sauce.(sounds strange, I defy you not to love it!) Something told me to task red house with this particular craving, and I could not have asked for anything more. Simply MINDBLOWING! Perfect crust, crisp on the outside with a great chew, and cooked to perfection. Sauce was seasoned perfectly and present in what I feel is the perfect ratio. Cheese was bubbly and stretchy and magical. Meatballs were AMAZING, clearly made in house with love, and paired in perfect harmony with exactly the right amount of ricotta cheese. All paired together you have a religious experience, and a convert who will be coming back here for as long as breath fills my lungs.

Stumbled by this place and fell in love. I found rare parking in the area. And went in search of food, there are a lot of great places in the area. While I was walking to find a place to eat, I walked by here. There were a few people sitting outside and there food had just been delivered to their table. It looked delicious. Decision made, we are eating here! We walked inside and the atmosphere is chill. The set up is unique. The tables are set up in front, down the hallway of art, two areas that were bar style seating at the counter and the the back courtyard outside. It was a gorgeous day out so we sat outside. Then ordered up. They have a variety of pizzas with fresh toppings. This added a great flavor to the pizzas. Even down to the fresh tomatos-not canned. The roasted eggplant lasagna is chock full of delicious veggies. Ordered a strawberry cobbler and same thing large whole strawberries were used. We also had a baked brie appetizer that was yummy. Our server also made sure to tell us that the menu items could be ordered to specification, which I am sure happens often but it was cool to hear them promoting it. The service was super friendly. Overall this place has a lot of charm and the prices were decent. Definitely worth checking out.

I met a colleague here for business tonight in hope the pizza will taste better. Atmosphere, great neighborhood pizzeria. They added a new addition to the back patio, beautiful, spacious and more quiet than dining indoors. Staff, very friendly and I love Lincoln. Monday nights they run a special on certain pizza and drinks for 30% off. Cool deal. However, I noticed that the pizza I ordered which was the Madison was lacking flavor. Why pizza did not taste great? It tasted like a «gourmet» cracker with minimal topping. Very little pesto sauce and I found maybe 5 pieces of mushrooms on a 16″ pizza. Does having a special deal reflect not having much topping on a pizza? It reminded me of the experience I had years ago buying a sandwich at subway were they count how many pieces of food items go on a sandwich. I waited to write this review if anything would change and I have been here 5x in the last few months and I am disappointed.
