Came here because i wanted some food before going to the movies. Two pizza and a drink under $ 8 including taxes was a pretty good deal. However, the pizza was a let down. Lets start with customer service because thats all that is going for this establishment. Cashier was courteous and nice and took my order promptly and thats a plus for me. I ordered a Hawaiian new york style pizza and a pepperoni sausage deep dish. Deep dish pizza lacked of cheese and the sauce’s flavor was overwhelming instead of complementing the dish. The Hawaiian pizza’s canadian bacon was extremely dry and chewy and severely lacking of cheese. As i was eating the Hawaiian pizza the crust fell apart. Im used to cheese sliding off the crust but I never had a crust fall apart on me.

Food was cold when it got here, overpriced calzones came with no sauce, took an hour and a half for delivery, dude didn’t even try to find my apartment before calling me outside. Never again.

Found this by picking up a flyer on the ground of the hotel room, so we decided to give it a try. Pizza was really good. Everything was in tip top shape and delivery was really fast(to our hotel room). Downside was that the delivery guy did not carry change with him and it was cash only. He looked eager to get the money and head out.

No, I absolutely did not. The full original review is still there. I was reading how rude and insulting you were in response to my first review and the other reviews listed on Unilocal.Instead of apologizing or working on improving what was said, you become defensive and arrogant as if you could do not wrong. Own up to. It’s called accountability. Good day

Pizza took over an hour to be delivered and when it arrived it was literally all slammed to one corner. Looked as though it was carried like a lap top. Pizza was stuck to the top of the box, barely edible. Called the company to let them know, they told me they had to talk to the owner. I let grub hub know, how I ordered, and they attempted to resolve the issue and only offered a 50% refund. When you spend 34 $ on a pizza, it should not be this awful and certainly should be better customer service…

Wow… But not in a good way. I was skeptical of the negative reviews and wanted to dismiss them. But they are unfortunately accurate if the pictures represent the customer service at all — they are accurate. With this poor quality, I strongly believe the quick corporate stores are a better investment :/customers stay away and take your business where they actually care.

Absolutely delicious deep dish pizza that I was able to enjoy at work a couple weeks ago. However today when I tried to order from home I was put on hold for ten mins before hanging up and dialing again. This time when she tried to put me on hold for«a quick second» I told her I just had a quick question which was to see if they even delivered to my area. Her response was«I’m just going to put you on hold». Fifteen minutes later I come to find out(through the Internet) they do not deliver to pacific beach. Thanks phone lady

Terrible pizza. I ordered a 10 inch pizza and it looked like someone dumped a can of tomato sauce on top of the pizza right out of the oven. Disgusting.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and someone had slipped a menu for Chicago Style Deep Dish under my door. I thought I would give it a try since I was hungry and I knew for sure that they would deliver to the room, I mean why would they put a flyer under the door if they wouldn’t. Order was easy enough to place, but the person on the phone seemed rushed and rude, like I was bothering him with my business. That’s cool, I’ve worked in the service industry for years and I know what it’s like when it gets busy. Ordered the deep dish with sausage, mushroom and olive. I was told to expect the delivery in an hour to an hour and fifteen, pretty standard for a Saturday night with a youth soccer tournament in town. While waiting I called the front desk at my hotel to settle some billing issues and the desk clerk asked what I had decided on for dinner. When I told her that I decided to order in from Chicago Deep Dish. She said«Oh, did you get one of those flyers under your door? Those guys are so annoying?» I asked her more about it and apparently this pizza place slips menus under the door against the wishes of the hotel. She said that the hotel is apparently preparing to sue the pizza place for littering the guest rooms with menus. So apparently the management at this pizza place is a little sketchy, but as I mentioned, with years in the industry, I’ve worked for sketchy managers in the past and we still had good food and excellent service. After an hour and twenty-five minutes, I got a call from the driver that he was in the hotel lobby. I told him my room number, which I had already told the person who took the order, and he said that he had been walking around trying to find it and could I please meet him in the lobby. I’d already kicked my shoes off for the evening and the football game was in the redzone. I’m sorry dude, but there’s a reason I ordered delivery and I tip well. I told him to ask the desk clerk how to get to the room. Yay, pizza’s here! The pizza was dry. Definitely overcooked. If you know your deep dish, you know that the sauce is supposed to be saucy and the crust is supposed to be soft and crispy. This sauce was pasty almost the consistency of playdough, the crust was so hard, I was afraid I might chip a tooth. In the end, I’ve learned that it’s not a good idea to order from some flyer on the floor of a hotel room. In the future, I’ll ask the desk clerk because apparently the local pizza places give the hotel employees free pizza for referrals, so they always tell you what their favorite pizza place is. UPDATE: I would have called back and complained, but I didn’t want to deal with the guy on the phone again. Also, the next night, upon the suggestion of the front desk clerk, I ordered from Pizza Bella. So good!

Review based on delivery experience w/Eat24. Only had one other option for a Saturday pizza delivery past 10pm and both had less than 3 stars so I decided to go with Deep Dish based on price. I didn’t have high hopes about this pizza based on reviews, we just ordered an NY style cheese pizza and it was pretty good. They’re located in a mall so it’s pretty much just mall pizza, nothing special. Delivery was fast! I’m in Bay Park and delivery got here in about 40min, which is impressive for an Eat24 restaurant.

Ordered delivery on seamless. Delivery came 70 minutes late. I called restaurant to cancel. No such luck. I called seamless to cancel. Was told I won’t be charged. Great, right? Delivery finally shows up. I say nope, can’t accept. Delivery guy apologizes and tells me he was over-extended that night and offers everything for free saying it won’t make a difference to anyone at that point. I accept. Just got an email from seamless saying I’ll be charged in full. Let the games begin

Looking for a quick bite before the movies and decided pizza would be good. Sadler we were very wrong! Probably should have been smarter after looking at our options. We chose a pepperoni slice, ham and pineapple slice, and a spinach and tomato slice. We shared all 3 and found the pepperoni slice to be the only edible one. Pretty sure that people only eat the pepperoni pizza and that is the only one that will be fresh. The ham and pineapple slice, the ham had become like a plastic texture that you actually couldn’t bite through. The tomato and spinach one, it was the last slice from a pie I believe may have been made the day before. It was inedible! The only plus was that we got 2 free sodas. The total was $ 11.99 and a belly ache.

I ordered online and was charged over $ 30. No one ever showed up with my food. Fuck this place. Update: Pizza DID end up being delivered. But only AFTER2am with any type of warni that they were running late!!!’. Only AFTER i had already gone to the taco shop to get other food. Only AFTER I called 13 times from 1am — 1:30am which is when they officially close. So why not answer phone? Especially when they know they have deliveries that are late. Since my friend ended up signing for the order. I DID get screwed out of $ 30+. I called them the next day to come and pick up their pizza. And guess what. They took my number down and never bothered calling me back. So yeah. F the liar. Guys avoid this place at all costs. Order from mature honest buisness owners.

Eveything on there menu is made from scratch(except deserts) which helps the food taste amazing. Though the desserts aren’t made here they will definitely have you sucking your fingers. Customer service is great too ! When I order at the mall it takes just a few minutes to get my food. Placing an order through the phone takes a while depending on your location and because of the fact that it’s made from scratch but it’s OK because it’s worth it !!!

My bf was hungry before a movie we were going to see and went to search for a quick bite to eat in the mall. And this is were we arrived. They specialize in deep dish, or that’s what I gather from their signage. Their deep dish pizza and pizzas in general, can be sold by the slice(I’m sure you could order a whole one with enough notice). However, the deep dish looked kind of sad, in a «I’m no longer hot and need to be reheated» kind of way. We settled for a slice of Hawaiian and I’m assuming a ricotta and spinach pizza(hard to tell) — which still looked sad as well, but less so. The pizza did its job, fulfilled the hunger pangs, but was it delicious? No. The crust was bland, my bf and I were debating about what type of cheese was on one of the slices and the Hawaiian slice could’ve hand more meat. Point being, if you’re crunched for time and don’t really care about quality or taste(for that matter), come here.

My Delivery experience was stellar! I rarely sit down to write reviews on Unilocal, but after my recent experience with Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, I feel compelled to stand up and be counted. HEREISWHY… My boyfriend and I both travel alot for work, so as you can guess, we eat ALOT of take out and delivery. This out of town visit was a little different, due to the fact that we did not have a rental car with us. Aside from work — I was pretty much stuck at my Hotel when my boyfriend was working– which limited alot of lunch options. FASTFORWARDTOTODAY: Ive been swamped and hadnt left my Hotel(or eaten) all day. I was pretty hungry, but luckily there were several flyers for different delivery services that were left under my hotel door. Before choosing which one to call, I do a quick Unilocal search to see which one had the best reviews. Wow, every delivery place that left a flyer under my door had Horrible reviews, and I mean Horrible! There was even a restaurant with something like 45 one star reviews, and ZERO good reviews… I tried to call a few other places from Unilocal but none of them were delivering yet(it was still only 3pm) So I broke down and decided to order from Chicago Deep Dish, even though, to be entirely honest — I never would have called them, but didnt have much of a choice. Im SO glad I did! My call was picked up after the second ring, and a nice man with an accent(I didnt get his name) answered. He got my order right away, he knew exactly what coupon I wanted to use(from the flyer left under my door) and even went as far as to remind me that, with my order, I could have a two liter of soda, or a salad FREE! Still, I was apprehensive. after seeing all these bad reviews, I really expected my pizza to show up three hours later, if at all. and be ice cold. NOTTHECASE! My order arrived exactly 40 minutes after I placed my order. The guy who delivered my food was so sweet. my dog was barking relentlessly at him for knocking on the door– he just flashed a big warm smile. I felt terrible. I ordered a Large Quatro Formaggi Pizza(four cheese pizza) a two liter of soda, and a desert — everything was there, and ALL were suprisingly delicious! The pizza was piping hot, with generous amounts of four different white cheeses oozing from it, cooked perfectly golden on top. I had a hard time saving some for my boyfriend! The cannoli, oh wow– a home run… Lightly dizzled in chocolate sauce, light, flaky outer shell and inside was heaven– creamy, but not too heavy– and the perfect temperature… —I think my only regret, is not having ordered MORE food!!! — As for the price– my total, including everything, tax, delivery fee, desert etc, was 28 dollars and change. A great deal for a lot of food, and good food at that! Im not a local, and I dont know the history of this place, or its owners. or why it would have so many low grade reviews… maybe its under new management? ALL I KNOWFORSUREIS … NEXTTIMEIMINTOWN, CHICAGODEEPDISHWILLBEMYGO-TOPLACEFORDELIVERY! YUMMMM!
