They have great curry! My son also like the shrimp fried rice.

Free delivery! Love love! I also love their pad Thai! Noodles are always perfect and so spicy! The mango sweet rice is one of my faves and isn’t on the eat24 menu but they always read my note and know to add it :) their prices are really reasonable and their delivery time is on point.

Have been ordering here for almost 6 months and I noticed that their servings, especially their noodles, have become smaller and smaller.

This was the worst«Thai» food I’ve ever had in my life. I love«thai» food an am not too picky but this was unacceptable. It should be called«American Thai at best» but to call it thai food is not fair to such a wonderful cuisine. I spent $ 23 on a coconut $ 6. I knew that was ridiculous because they are $ 1.50-$ 2.50 anywhere else… whatever I was hung over and needed it! OK. By the way, there was no one else waiting on food and it took 15 minutes to get the coconut with a straw in it. Next I got the Tom Kha– This is my favorite dish in the world. They didn’t bother to use lemon grass or bay leaves, which are crucial. They also didn’t use green onion but regular, giant slices of yellow onion, which makes a huge difference. It was super disappointing. There were 3 shrimp, the smallest, worst quality kind that come frozen in a giant block of ice when you buy them wholesale. The bowl was 99% green bell pepper to fill the bowl and save them on their costs. $ 6. I don’t think there was any fish sauce either. It was a bowl of coconut milk and bell pepper… I also asked for medium to low heat and it burned my mouth and throat. I love spicy food but was hung over and didn’t want to compromise my stomach further. I had 4 – 5 spoonfuls and threw it away. I could have given it to a homeless person but I thought it was really a dis-service to give that to anyone. For my main, I got the Massaman Curry. This too was a bowl of coconut milk, chili oil, oddly shaped carrots and completely raw potatoes and peanuts. There was no tamarind sauce as stated and absolutely no curry added. The potato was actually raw(like an apple) and again 4 or 5 of the lowest quality shrimp. I also threw this away and was wildly disappointed with the overall experience. This dish was also wildly spicy but they forgot the tamarind and curry! Its a curry dish, how do you forget curry!!! If you love thai food, or even want to try it… this is not thai food. They substitute crucial ingredients to save money and what you get is american cuisine. Its like calling little Caesars pizza or Olive garden Italian food. If you want to know what real thai food is try soupanee in point loma. It is a little expensive but it is incredible. You can also try JT’s in morena by USD. They are the most affordable place in town and don’t cut corners and compromise quality. Their tom kha has real prawns and lemmon grass, green onion, fish sauce. the way it supposed to be!

I love this place! I order take out and pick up a few times a month and it never disappoints! I love to get their chicken pad Thai, potstickers, and wontons! And they have super yummy Thai too. Their delivery is always fast and their pieces can’t be beat! Must stop in Pb!

So I am a huge fan of Pa Ram Chicken. I thought I would try this place. Very disappointing. The chicken was charbroiled on the grill! It was dry and burned!!! The veggies, brown rice and peanut sauce was good, but the chicken ruined it for me!

I have been eating my way through San Diego during my week long vacation, and something I’ve heard is that good Thai is hard to find here. Whether that’s true or not, I don’t know, but this place seemed to have some happy customers, and I knew they delivered to my neighborhood, so I gave them a try. Something went bork with their online delivery system. I clicked for it to be delivery, put in my contact info, and ordered spicy chicken massaman curry, fresh spring rolls, and chicken satay. I asked for a second helping of the cucumber salad for the satay and asked if it’d be possible to add more potatoes and peanuts to the curry. I specified it be delivered at 6.30 — an hour and a half from when I ordered it. At 6.45, I hadn’t heard a thing from the restaurant. Their online ordering system goes through Eat24 via Unilocal,so I did an order check up. The woman handling my account said she couldn’t get through to the restaurant at all. After much trying on her end, she found that my order had been tagged as «pick up», even though I know I chose delivery, as I have no way to get to the restaurant to pick it up. The woman apologized for not catching the issue sooner and re-sent the order tagged as delivery. She said the food would be delivered immediately. So with cash in hand, I waited. And waited. Almost an hour after that second order was placed, the delivery guy rang the doorbell and told me the total was $ 4 or $ 5 less than originally quoted. I thought that was very nice of them to discount it, when really, it wasn’t their fault the system went cuckoo. I tipped the guy 30%. I was so ready for this meal. Everything smelled great. But there was only one sad little cup of cucumber salad with the satay. Ah well, guess they didn’t get the memo. The spring rolls looked good and in order. The massaman curry was… different. Watery, chock full of all types of vegetables that aren’t normally in massaman curry, and very obviously no extra potatoes or peanuts. There was also no chicken in my chicken massaman curry. I served myself, still excited to have my mind blown, and yeah. It didn’t happen. Sorry. The massaman curry was probably the worst I’ve ever had. The potatoes were undercooked. The zucchini and broccoli were mushy. The spice level was actually spicy, which was surprising, but it didn’t make up for the disappoitment. The satay and spring rolls were good. The peanut sauce for the satay was very good. I ended up tossing out the rest of the curry, knowing I wouldn’t eat it as leftovers. I had such high hopes based on reviews, and I guess this is the one time I have to agree with some of the bad reviews. Sorry.

Ordered lunch to go here the other day while I was working. I ordered the Panang Chicken Curry, mild-medium heat. I got a container of a whole lot of sauce, a bit of chicken, lots of peppers and a few chunks of pineapple. The sauce was tasty, a tad spicier than I wanted, but good. I wish there had been a few more chunks of pineapple and more chicken. The portion was huge, so it served as lunch and dinner that day. All in all, it wasn’t bad. I will definitely try them again. I liked what I ordered, but just wish there had been a better balance of ingredients.

Maybe a little expensive for my taste, about $ 15 for an order of fresh Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and a small(refillable) drink. BUT, I have no regrets, it was delicious. The Pad Thai had a nice kick to it and I ordered mild(I am pretty weak when it comes to the hot stuff). The Spring Rolls were cut like sushi rolls and that was not necessary. The rice paper sticks together and the rolls fall apart. If someone complained about the rolls being, well, rolls, those customers are dumb. I recommend keeping those rolls rolled up and deep into the sweet peanut sauce as necessary. It is part of the dining experience! The dishes are served family style, so prepare for a plate of whatever Thai dish you ordered. Definitely shareable. But also enough to devour by yourself. Yum! Service was great. I would return, but I am splitting dishes!

Hands down the best thai food for your money in PB — and I’ve tried them all! The portions are huge, the dishes are delicious, and the staff is always so friendly. And on top of it, they have free and fast delivery! Must get: Raka Noodle(I always order with no egg, but that’s a preference!) Chicken Fried Rice Massaman Curry I have also had the Pad Thai and a few other dishes, but those three are the dishes I order at least once a week… seriously addicting! Don’t look anywhere else for Thai!

I love Thai food, it is probably my favorite ethnic food. I work in PB and had got sick of my regular Thai spot so I decided to try Rakadeka because my coworkers said it was yummy and cheaper than some other local spots. I called and ordered the chicken pad Thai. 10 minutes later and I went to pick it up. It was a nice sized portion for the price. The chicken tasted well seasoned, there just wasn’t as much as I would like. The noodles were good. Nice and spicy. I would eat here again.

Date of visit: 3÷24÷2015 Cam and I usually come to Ra-Ka-De-Ka when we’re looking for something fast. Since it’s within walking distance, I’ve never had to park here, but there might be a parking area in the alley that it’s next to. Otherwise, it’s just street parking. We ordered off of the Eat24 app last night, but got a text that our food wouldn’t be ready for 40 minutes due to the restaurant being busy. Cam thought that was weird, since it’s usually not that long of a wait when we call our order in. After 20 minutes, we decided to go over and check if the wait was really going to be 40 minutes(we were that hungry). When we arrived, there was a party of 4 ahead of us. I noticed that there was a bag on the counter that looked suspiciously like what we ordered. There was no cashier to take orders, so we were waiting around for a while. After about 5 minutes of standing around, I noticed that one of the cooking staff members went to the back area and then a cashier showed up. This was a little annoying since the cashiers should pay attention to the front area. The cashier then proceeded to take orders for each member of the party ahead of us. I think their card machine is broken, because each transaction was taking forever to process and there was no second cashier like there usually is to take the other orders. Our turn came up and the cashier gave us the bag that was sitting on the counter. Thank goodness we came early — our food was still warm-ish, but definitely warmer than it would have been if we had come when Eat24 told us to come. Tip: Specify a time in the Eat24 app, do not use ASAP or rely on their text message alerts. Although we usually have an good experience at Ra-Ka-De-Ka, the cashiers on duty were not doing a very good job. After we paid, another cashier waltzed in and meandered towards the back area. When we got home, the food was warm, but not piping hot. This was one of the moments that I wish we had a microwave. Alas, we do not have the space, so we just ate the food. Garlic and Pepper Beef: Cam always gets this dish and likes how it tastes. It’s not too spicy, but has great flavor. I think it smells weird, but that might just be from all the cabbage included with this dish. Satay Chicken: This was just okay. Definitely better that the chicken at Saffron, but definitely not as good as the chicken at Thai Village. The peanut sauce had a weird texture, but it tasted like peanuts, so what more can you ask for? Triangle: I don’t like cream cheese, so Cam ate all of these. He gets this all the time, so I assume that it tastes good. Ra-Ka Fried Rice: This was a slimy mess and tasted gross. Maybe it’s because I don’t like shrimp, but there was a weird taste to this whole dish. I should have gotten my typical Pad Thai, but I was feeling adventurous. Needless to say, I had the rest of Cam’s dish and won’t ever get the fried rice again. Overall, Ra-Ka-De-Ka is good for some fast food. They are faster than the Eat24 app gives them credit for. Just don’t get the fried rice. I actually do like their pad thai and tom yum soup. This place has average food. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great.

We ordered the following as a mild medium(3/10ish): Lettuce Wraps(diced chicken, green onions, red onions, cilantro, fresh mint leaves, seasoned with lime juice) Fried Spring Rolls(5 pieces) Chicken Pad Thai They got the spice just right, the place is clean, and the service was ok. The spring rolls were tiny and not worth it. The food was like your cousin Gertrude. Unassuming, obeying, and pleasant. Not known for spunk or personality, she fills seats well, but is completely unmemorable. Your great aunts love her. There are just too many great Thai places in San Diego to settle for Gertrude.

If I could give them –billion stars I will do it … They have the worst Thai cuisine I have ever tried… Even the mango with a sticky rice is trouble and extremely horrible… they warmed in the microwave it became stone and it’s stuck between my teeth

Good fast-food Thai! They have a lot of good choices, my favorite being the yellow curry beef. If I make sure not to go crazy, I can usually make it into a leftover meal too with the brown rice added. The Thai iced tea and the fried banana make a good addition to your entrée. Sign up for the 5 Stars program, which gets you points toward discounts and free items. Many other restaurants use it, so it helps to cut down on the amount of cards that you have to carry around.

Went here for lunch not too long ago. I ordered their papaya salad(harder to find in San diego) and panang chicken. Their serving sizes are HUGE and their prices are very reasonable. I was very happy with how good everything tasted. To be honest this has been one of the best places I’ve had Thai food since I moved back to San Diego, New York ruined me with good authentic food, except Mexican, Pilipino, and good phở. I highly recommend you try this place out.
