The only thai place we go to in San Diego! I order to avocado curry like its my job and my fiancé loves their crispy duck. Not the most attractive place to eat in(helps keep the tourists away), but its delicious to take out! Order from here — you won’t regret it!

This has become my Sunday night stable. It’s DELICIOUS! I almost always get the spicy fried rice, level 6 spice. It’s a generous portion. I have tried a lot of spicy fried rices and have yet to find a tastier one than this one. I tend to like my food on the spicier side and a level 6 is perfect. It’s spicy enough to add that extra flavor, but not too spicy to eat. Alternatively, the spicy noodles is very good too… I’ve just recently been on a spicy fried rice binge. On top of the amazing food, you can’t beat the service. Each time I call the gentleman knows my name, greets me with a «how are you Joey,» and knows exactly what I like! My food is almost always ready in 10 minutes. This is definitely the best Thai around! I was forced to go to RaKeDaKe, or whatever it’s called, because Thai Village unfortunately has some odd hours and it wasn’t even on the same playing field. Thai Village for the win!

This place is authentic and awesome. Can’t say enough about this place. Bring your own booze. Yep

Unbelievable food. The best Thai food I’ve had in America. Big portions for a very reasonable price. The servers are super busy as it seems to be a family run and very establishment, but they’re pleasant and get the job done. It’s a sign of a successful restaurant and the food does not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and get busy at Thai village

This place serves up some solid Thai. We stopped in on a weeknight and it wasn’t very busy at which Im so glad because it is pretty small and doesn’t seat too many people at once. Everything our party ordered was tasty and flavors were spot on what I was looking for. I really like the variety of curry offered here. I loved the house curry and the mango curry was also quite delightful. The two different noodle dishes ordered were delicious and the tom ka and tom yum soups were both exactly what I look for when I order it. The service was great! Our server was helpful and friendly and kept our glasses full! The place is pretty dirty inside and could use a touch up in my opinion. As far as Thai food goes, especially for the area it’s in, this is the best in PB for sure.

I ordered delivery from Thai Village via the Eat24 App on Jan 1. The delivery took 2 hours(double the quoted 1-hour delivery time). I tried calling Thai Village at 1.25 and 1.5 hours but received no answer. After 1.75 hours I contacted support through the Eat24 App, and still no help. After 2 hours I assumed my order was all but lost… then received a call that my delivery was out front. I can understand a delay in the kitchen but waiting 2x the quoted time without any type of notification is unacceptable. I do not suggest ordering delivery from Thai Village and although the food was good when it finally arrived(+1 star), I will not visit or order from them again.

This is an amazing hole in the wall Thai Resturant. My aunt and uncle brought me here because the Avocado and Mango Curry is incredible! We also got pad Thai noodles and Thai salad. We didn’t have anything left on our plates. Will definitely come back here!

Probably the best Thai place in Pacific beach because there are only two and this was definitely better than the other one :-) But, the place itself was pretty beat up. Not the picture of hygiene. The food was OK. I was A little disappointed because I asked for medium spicy food and I could not even taste the spice. And they did not have a spice tray, only chili sauce. It would be worth another try, though. If you like spicy food ask for very spicy. In a real Thai place however that would result in something impossible to eat! The service was excellent. The staff were engaged and cheerful. That made for a nice ambience

Ordered delivery from here today and it was a great experience all the way around. Kudos for: 1. Prompt delivery ahead of scheduled time. I called in and asked that they leave it at my door and text message me when it arrived. Outcome: completed! 2. Nice on the phone, super helpful and knew who/what my call was regarding when calling. 3. Food was outstanding and they vented their to-go boxes to ensure crispy items didn’t become soggy, outstanding! Stand outs were the Thai chicken and curry fried rice with Thai sausage. I have a favorite Thai place but they don’t deliver, they may have lost my business because of this great discovery. Thanks EAT24 and Thai Village!

This restaurant is very popular in PB. Most of the people that eat here are locals. The portion size is larger than normal. I recommend trying their yellow curry or green curry. If you want to play it safe go with the Pad Thai.

I can’t type because I have to go asleep. In the African American community, this a compliment. Enough said. I don’t know who they got cookin in there. Mama, M’Dear, Maw Maw MeMaw: Whoever. I got delivery, as I always do. ITWASOFFTHECHAIN. All I can say is that I’m fat, happy and ready to get in the bed. Pedicure tonight? AIN’T GONNAHAPPEN. I am on a food high that won’t quit. Who does this? Excuse my typing. ITISWORTHEVERYPENNY. I couldn’t stop eating; and I have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. My stomach is swollen like Mt Soledad. OK i’m gonna stop. Want something good to eat tonight? Order for here. I don’t even have the energy to tell you what I ordered, dumplings, curry and something else for the main dish overloaded with seafood. Goodnight and happy chowtime. Claudia. .

Thai village is the best Thai restaurant in PB by far. Parking can be a hassle if you look right on mission or the streets on the beach but if you go a block east you can usually find a spot without much trouble. I am not a huge curry fan do I usually stick with the noodle dishes. My three favorites are the pad Thai, pad see ew, and the drunks noodles. All three I order medium spicy, a nice kick, but not overpowering. Their hot sauce is also delicious. If you are trying to place a call in order and they are not picking up it just means they are busy, keep trying and someone picks up eventually.

We got our food to go, so we didn’t run into a lot of service and delay issues that other Unilocalers have mentioned. The food was much better than I expected. I’m a big fan of the avocado curry($ 11.95) and the spicy noodles(drunken noodles)($ 9.95). Take-out portions were huge. The avocado curry came out in a huge take-out container, because they put avocado slices in the curry that was probably the equivalent of a whole avocado. The only dish I wasn’t a huge fan of was the pad thai($ 9.95). The pad thai was missing a certain something that made it blander than I expected. They don’t ask for spicy ratings. Everything comes out as maybe a 2 – 3 spicy level, so if you want more heat, you should probably specify. The thai tea was the perfect sweetness level, which isn’t easy since I have found most to be way too sweet. However, the drink was almost 75% ice, so be sure to specify less ice. Hard parking as it is PB… but Thai Village is on MOGL, so you can get up to 15% cash-back during non-peak hours.

Date of visit: 3÷9÷2015 I’m docking a star only because of the slow service. Otherwise, I really like the food and the location is great since it’s within walking distance of home. There is only one waiter for the entire restaurant and he is super busy since he not only has to manage all of the tables in the restaurant, but also the cash register and the take out orders and everything else that the cook staff doesn’t do. Keeping that in mind, be prepared to wait a long time to order your food, have your food come out, and not have your water glasses refilled. This is especially true during the dinner rush and only slightly better when the restaurant is half full. Due to our past experiences with eating in, Cam and I decided to place a take out order on Eat24 and pick it up on the way home from our run. The restaurant was packed when we walked in and there was a line at the cash register to pick up take out orders. Luckily our order was ready when we paid, so we hightailed it home to enjoy our food in peace. Fried Tofu — I don’t really like the dipping sauce that this dish comes with, but the tofu is always perfectly fried and goes well with the peanut sauce that comes with the Sa-Te Chicken. Sa-Te Chicken — This is one of my favorite appetizer dishes. The peanut sauce is great and the cucumber salad is a perfect balance of cucumber and vinegar. Cream Cheese Wontons — This is Cam’s favorite appetizer. I’m not a fan of cream cheese, but I do like the deep fried wrappers. Chu-Chee Curry — We got this with medium spicy level and chicken. I thought that it was a great combination with the rice. I definitely enjoyed it more than the pad see ew. Pad See Ew — This was a little too oily for me. Sometimes it’s a hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is. Today was a slight miss, but the Chu-Chee Curry made up for it. Egg Rolls — This was a free appetizer from Eat24. They were a little soggy on the inside, but the outside was great. I probably wouldn’t order this on my own. Overall, I like Thai Village, but they could definitely benefit from another waiter. They definitely have the best Thai food in the area, so it’s definitely a go-to restaurant when we want Thai. Ordering on Eat24 is definitely a great way to place an order for exactly what you want and track when it will be available.

I came for a late dinner and ordered the Tom Yum soup with sea food and the Drunken or Spicy Noodle dish at a level five with seafood, which included calamari, shrimp, and imitation crab meat which I was not really fond of. Anyways, the soup was okay and provided a decent sweet and sour flavor, and I have to commend them on the giant shrimp they put in the soup. They were a little over cooked unfortunately but tasted good. The earthy miniature corn ears threw me off, given they had just that, a very earthy flavor, that just did not seem right in the soup. The Drunken Noodles were pretty good and may I say mighty spicy for a level 5. The noodles had a good texture and the provided a good amount of large shrimp, tender calamari, and although I would of rather seen real crab of even fish, a good amount of those imitation crab meat sticks. The sauce that came with the noodles was alright, but I have had better. Service at this place is slow for some reason and they miss simple details as water and place settings. I encourage to flag them down when you need something rather than waiting for someone to come to your table.

taking a star back. These guys seem more and more swamped each time I go. Dishes are made a little more sloppily and without as much flavor. Sad because I may have to search for another :( Haven’t had the curry in a while though but I did try the tom yum soup. Totally lackluster.
