Great coffee. «Horchata Latte» is beast. So good. Staff is super friendly and the place is awesome. Hidden gem right in the heart of Logan and close to the freeway. Ditch«Starsucks» and come try this

This place is really cool! The décor was awesome and the coffee was so much better than I was expecting. I took my teenage niece and we had the horchata latte it was amazing. My only regret was not getting a large! I don’t live in the area but will be making sure I go once a month to get a delicious coffee treat. Also what a cool little Mexican artist vibe in that area.

Coffee is near and dear to this girls heart… I want to stop but then that smooth silky taste makes me whisper… I won’t quit you… Until the kids cut me off, it happened here. I should be embarrassed the way I consumed large amounts of caffienated beverages with no regard to the palpitations in my chest or the pleas of my children but I’m not! The girl stumbled on this place and being my child called me right away and told me all about it. Before her ice melted in her drink we were back ordering a tasty canela drink that had me hankering for more. I also picked up some beautiful hummingbird earrings for my sistah and browsed all the cool stuff for sale. The coffee was perfect for me, not too sweet, just enough cinnamon, definitely not bitter… I couldn’t stop. We picked up the boy… of course he had to taste it, he is my kid! We ordered the Jamaica iced tea and I got another coffee, at this point the barrista must have thought me crazy. You know I don’t mind what people think, that’s what makes my life so much fun! Anyhow there is a super cute patio in the back with a few shops and some places to sit, enjoy some music and drink some COFFEE! Perfect place for a lazy Sunday or a cracked out over caffienated one like I had. Love you Por Vida ;-) the cheese

Por Vida is what a neighborhood coffee shop should be, and in Barrio Logan’s art district it couldn’t be a cooler spot. Milo and Bucky have put their personalities and hearts into the theme and drink menu. This combined with the in-house retail shop and adjoining businesses make this the hippest spot in San Diego. Oh, and the coffee, the combinations are incredible… great great place, HIGHLYRECOMMEND

Very happy that I stumbled across this hole in the wall coffee shop. If your driving by you will definitely pass it by. Lucky for us we were eating Tacos a few doors down and noticed several people walking by with these cute cups. I loved loved loved the culture in here. Everything from the Sarapes, shirts, pottery, plants made me feel as if I was in a little shop in Tijuana. I ordered a Mexican Mocha that tastes just like Abuelita hot chocolate with a kick of expresso. My husband ordered an Expresso with Canela and brown sugar. Lets just say by the time we walked back to our car both our drinks where gone. They where delicious and hit the spot. I loved all the custom printed cups, cup wraps, etc… I have posted on my facebook and told all my friends they need to stop in and see for themselves.

This is a gem of a coffee shop. They have good coffee and a good neighborhood vibe. They also have a cool area where you can purchase some hand made items. Skip the Starbuck if you are close to the Barrio and go here instead!

Ordered an espresso con canela y leche and it was arguably one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! The barista did an amazing job. I just took the last sip of my coffee and already want more! Por Vida is truly a hidden gem in Barrio Logan with lots of cultural art and charm. It is also located not too far from Las Cuatro Milpas which is a huge plus!

Great Coffee with much needed culture in this industry! Popped in for espresso, Barista was super chill and knowledgable had some nice downtempo trip hop playing in the background. Will be my go to spot the next time I’m in the neighborhood. I wish them the best of luck with all the misappropriation floating around in this area. Support local coffee!

Absolutely loved this place. I finally had the opportunity to stop by and of course I had their horchata latte. I can say it is by far the greatest thing on earth. Small cute little coffee shop. Definitely will be back.

If you’re a purist coffee gal, stay true to your heart and grab what you’re comfortable with! I went for the horchata iced latte and wasn’t a fan:-(loved the idea and thought it was an awesome touch for its location but wasn’t able to finish it. My friend got the brown sugar latte and loved it!!! Such an awesome location and the shop is adorable. Interested to try a cappuccino!

Cute and eclectic little coffee shop/art gallery/curio shop in the ever improving Barrio Logan area. They brew James Coffee and their espresso con canela is delightful. Definitely a hidden little gem with good coffee and one of a kind gifts. Lots of Frida Kahlo items as well as Mexican Artisan gifts. Check it out! It’s worth the visit.

What a gem in the middle of Barrio Logan. I didn’t realize Barrio Logan is not the same neighborhood it was many years ago. Hipsters are moving in! Por Vida is cool local coffee shop walking distance to Chicano Park. If you love mexican items like mugs, loteria socks and Frida Kahlo while sipping on Expresso de Canela then this is your spot.

This review is on the iced horchata Latte. I have had many horchata lattes hot/cold and this one is at the bottom of the list. Didn’t taste at all like horchata or coffee. The taste was bland and it’s already pre mixed so you can’t get your choice of milk either. I threw it away to be honest, maybe the house coffee and lattes are better… Next time

The horchata cold brew is one of my new favorites! Very different from the iced horchata latte(which is so good also) I have yet to be disappointed! I was always going in and getting the delicious espresso & milk con canela & brown sugar and the baristas made the great suggestion so I could try something new! So happy I have this place just a few miles away! I’ll be skipping all other coffee shops to come here now!

First time being there, and the café con canela y leche was the best. The Barista was friendly and did a great job brewing the expresso. My daughter had the Mexican chocolate and the drink was very tasty The cup has a really cool printing and lettering. The shop has other pastry items and other items for sale: sarape blankets, bags, wallets, art, décor. We bought two shirts, and will come back for my café fix next time I’m in SD

Another gem in the heart of Barrio. Gifts and trinkets that are reasonably priced and truly authentic, from bags to coasters to Jewlery they have a little bit of everything and not to mention the coffee. I’m a coffee fanatic and this place has got it down to the T. Good prices, great coffee and did I mention they have Pan Dulce?

Óraleeee! Bright, vibrant, fun, with tasty pastries and bolillos. There’s the chorizo bolillo, and a ham, cheese, and jalapeño one, which we tried. I love the música and Mexican zarape everything! A propósito, si quieres regalarme algo para la navidad, hay un mini sombrerito… wink wink! They have a loyalty rewards program for your coffee purchases!
