Pizza Hut

Our soldiers at the USO put a call out for food during the holiday season and this store refused to participate; I was buying and not asking for handouts. They simply refused to deliver the food. I attempted to coordinate and even escalate to the store manager and try the volunteers at the USO. They still wouldn’t do it. Fortunately Papa John’s was willing to help.

Horrible service, over an hour waiting on my pizza. My number was wrong but that doesn’t mean you don’t have other means to contact me like my email that’s connected to my order. Manager says it’s my fault because my number is wrong

I was in San Diego for work and thought pizza sounded good working late in my room. HORRIBLE. The delivery person tried to run off like a scared rabbit, I had to ask for a receipt. I didn’t get the parmesan or pepper flakes I asked for… NOT EVEN A NAPKIN. Oh and the pizza is cold. This is the second city I have been in and Pizza Hut has been crap.

Pizza was great tonight (ordered carry out), and the cashier was extremely friendly to my kids. I really appreciate when people go that extra mile, it makes all the difference. Great experience.

Usually I prefer PJ’s but lately this place has such good deals and the small is just enuf for me n hubby ! Yummy

I had to repeat the order multiple times, with the PH person each time saying, «Ummm, what was the middle thing again?» Someone else finally took over. So all’s good, right? Nope! After promising delivery in 45 minutes they CALL back 45 minutes later to say they are out of two of the three things I ordered. Actual deliver time? One hour and 15’minutes. When I pointed the pizza was cold, the PH delivery guy claimed to be surprised: «Really?» I then told him I had called the store and found out he left on his delivery run 40 minutes ago, so he couldn’t be surprised the pizza was cold. His reponse? «Have a good one.» Never again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
I usually always order delivery from this Pizza Hut and it’s usually always on time and fully cooked. However, today the wings I order were not fully cooked! I also ordered the $ 10 dinner box and its always has a pretty decent sized pizza but today it was way smaller than normal. Also, the order was suppose to arrive at 5:08 but did not arrive until 15 – 20 minutes past that. The older man who delivered it was in a rush and banged on our door. DO NOT GO TO THIS PIZZA HUT!

Awful service, stay away. I placed an order online at 11:40 AM expecting delivery 12:15 as per the online clock on their website for my business lunch, we take our lunch at noon and end at 1. Well 12:45 rolls around and the driver still hasn’t arrived. I call PIzza Hut and I can hear the manager telling her driver to go and she tells me the first delivery ‘held him up’. Not only did I hear her tell him to go deliver my pizza, I herd him yell back at her. He calls me right as I hang up on them and tells me he’s on his way. Unacceptable, my pizza arrived COLD, my pasta arrived, COLD. Driver got no tip, and I won’t be ordering from this Pizza Hut again!

Okay, you’re thinking «Pizza Hut» standard take out pizza. Well you’re completely WRONG. For the past two weeks we have order pizza from the Midway Point Loma store and it was the best take out (delivery) EVER! My experience began with Mark (he took my order over the phone). Fast (but he didn’t rush me) super friendly and he made sure that he got me the best pizza for the best price. I wanted the offer that Pizza Hut was (were) offering on TV (a while ago) and he said it had expired, but he was happy to do it for me anyways! It was awesome the way he came through for my family (they were thrilled). So what else does this Pizza Hut store do differently??? They have a «Pizza-​Maker» Moreen that actually spends time and dresses the pizza with toppings (I hate when you order pizza and you see one piece of pepperoni on it). The toppings go all the way to the edge of pizza not just dumped in the middle leaving 4″ inches of cooked dough with just sauce on it. We order the thin crust with all meat toppings and pineapple, my nephew and husband couldn’t believe how good it was — my nephews exact quote was «this is some of the best pizza I have ever had» ! My pizza was on the thin crust as well, I choose the Alfredo sauce, chicken, tomato, sausage and mushroom it was AMAZING. I swear to you it tasted just like ordering a gourmet pizza from a fancy restaurant (maybe even better!).
Last but not lease, the delivery guy (sorry I didn’t get his name) was quick, quick, quick. The pizza arrive hot, fresh and NOT soggy. Oh did I mention the price??? About $ 22.00 to my door… LOVE THIS PIZZA HUT… call them you won’t be disappointed… :)

Didn’t show up!!! Worst experience ever!!! I am absolutely furious! Ordered pizza for our family vacation and 3 hours later they say they are closed and have no idea about our order! I will NEVER order again!!!

Crap service and food that I would not feed to my DOG. They could not deliver hot pizza to me once or twice tonight. Every single boy that works in this location has a poor attitude, like a punk. I will NEVER eat pizza hut again because of their crap food and crap service. Word of mouth spreads pizza hut, you lost many customers tonight.

Horrible! Called and asked for delivery $ 13.25 for delivery ha yea right! When i asked what specials they had the guy said none when i asked about the wings he placed me on hold and came back 4 minutes later asking what I wanted to order when I had asked for wing special. Eventually i end up getting breadsticks large pizza and wings. I drove to pick it up the lady who charge my was pleasant but once i arrived home not only was the pizza cold it also looked like it had been sitting on a counter for hours it wasnt fresh at all. The breadsticks were so hard yuck! The wings were the only thing that were good.

4.5 Have eaten here about a dozen times now and it’s always perfect never get the order wrong and extra cheese is generous, however I always carry out, I noticed all the bad reviews usually involved delivery, carry out usually ready in 15 min or so.

I still say the service and pizza is delish but I found recently after getting sick from eating here that the pizza is laden with MSG! (have a very bad sensitivity) upon looking at the ingredients even the pizza dough has it !!! So sad that I can’t eat here anymore. There’s a reason why it’s so yummy

I refused to eat at pizza hut for years I saw they redid the recipes and I have to say it’s amazing get the hand tossed pepperoni with garlic butter baked crust. Will be back designer pizza around here is just too expensive.

I don’t really know what to say about this Pizza Hut because the time I was in there was comical. I’m not even sure if that’s in a good or bad way, so you be the judge.
First off, the prices are really great. That is A #1 for me! The pizza and breadsticks are amazing as well. For a chain, you can’t beat this pizza. There’s always some Yay-​hoo that will say Cousin Tony’s on 95^th and Main is way better, but I’m not holding Pizza Hut to the standard of some guy sweating over the oven in his 12×12 greasy spoon restaurant, that includes a fuzzy tv in the corner — seemingly always playing a Rocky movie or some sporting event no one has ever heard of.
I digress — the pizza deal I got was $ 10 for any pizza and an order of breadsticks and an order of cinnamon breadsticks. I thought they were pulling my chain when they told me all this. The pizza is not a pie though for this deal — it’s one of those rectangular party tray style pizzas — but same great taste!!!
So, I order over the phone and go in 15 – 20 mins later to pick it up. I pay for it and stand at the register waiting. The guy next to me comes in and he’s talking on the phone and literally this is how the conversation goes:
Guy: I want to order blah, blah, blah. Ok, well can you come out and we can finish this order? I’m standing in your restaurant now. (dramatic pause) I’m at the front counter. No, I’m at your front counter. On Midway drive — I’m looking at your cashier. I’m…no…no…no…IN YOUR RESTAURANT… can you come out to the front? What do you mean you don’t work in this restaurant? Am I calling the Pizza Hut on midway drive? Well then where are you because i’m here? (he hangs up at this point)
Next guy comes in and asks the cashier if the specials on-​line are honored in the store. Cashier has no clue. «I don’t even know what that is… it’s run by a 3^rd party or something and we don’t talk to them and they don’t talk to us…» WAIT… what?!? is this a joke and btw where the hell is my pizza?
Anyhow…you get the idea… it was funny and bizarre all at the same time… fortunately my pizza didn’t take too much longer and it was worth every second I waited!

This is your everyday, normal neighborhood take out configured Pizza Hut. We’ve been coming here for about five years and typically order pizza every Friday night from here. (Pizza Night at our house).
The pizza was decent, not NY City pizza, just Pizza Hut pizza, but fit the bill at $ 9.99 for a large pan one topping. Until recently when prices mysteriously nearly doubled overnight. What used to cost us a little over $ 20 for two pizzas, now costs nearly $ 40! When I asked why the prices went up, I was told prices went up because minimum wage went up!
The local pizzeria offers a large NY-​style pizza, a large order of pasta, a salad AND a 2 liter soda for $ 20! I’m afraid we’ll have to shift our regular Pizza Night orders to the local pizzeria. Sorry Pizza Hut, your prices have outstripped your product.

This is hands down the best pizza place in my vicinity! They always come through with top notch pizza. Even when I called 5 minutes before they closed they still made and delivered me a pizza and was surprisingly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever received from Pizza Hut! Thank you for this pizza pizzahut you made my wife very very happy!

We order for deliver a few times a year. Delivery was timely. I have always enjoyed their pan pizza. However, the pan pizza we ordered on Saturday was so greasy and almost like not cooked all the way. We ate one piece and I threw the rest out. Our wings were ok, but very small. Not so much a fan anymore. Common guys, step up your game. So many other options out there!

Actually this is the worst pizza I’ve ever had from a Pizza Hut. It was extremely greasy and dang near drained in oil. Maybe it’s just this place but they make you not want to eat Pizza Hut anymore.
