While me and my friends had an AMAZING time for my bestie’s birthday, me and my girl Mo tried for ATLEASTANHOUR to get them to play an ounce of Beyoncé. They. Did. NOT. Play. Any. Beyoncé. APPARENTLY, «we don’t take requests», which is fucking bullshit if you ask me ESPECIALLY, since I paid $ 30 just to get metal-wanded all over my body as I walked through those silver judgemental doors. but all in all you should totes it was a good time.

We came here last night, 2 of the girls we were with were assaulted by 2 other girls in the club. The security guards saw the whole thing happen. They separated both parties, we cooperated they assured us that they had the other two girls and were asking them questions. An hour later they said they had to let the girls go because they«ran away» the manager and head of security did absolutely nothing. Very disappointed in this place, it’s supposed to be a high class club however they let people like this into the club and cover up the whole thing to avoid a law suit. Won’t return again.

Came here specifically to see djs on two separate occasions. Located in the gaslamp district its surrounded by plenty of parking garages. Inside décor is very upscale and employees are extremely polite.

Half the freaking club is filled with kids holding their phones up taking pictures and videos of the DJ. Seriously guys? Do you really need to get dressed up, go out, pay to get into an expensive nightclub and then do nothing but film the experience with your phone to prove to people on Youtube and Instagram how much cooler you are than them? Any bar or nightclub where there are more people taking pictures than there are people drinking, dancing, and socializing is a pretty shitty, over-hyped experience in my opinion. Please let me know when Omnia is having a «No-Smartphone Night» and I’ll be first in line to get in.

This club was a disappointment. It did not meet my expectations at all. I went this past weekend with a few of my girls and wasn’t feeling the music or the atmosphere. Drinks were overpriced and it was in general a big disappointment. I also didn’t like the neighborhood that this club was in. It was too damn crowded to navigate around with cars and traffic everywhere. Felt like I was in NYC or something.

I planned my girlfriend birthday party on the rooftop. They were amazing. Elijah was great and patience. She and all of the guest had an amazing time and I would do it again. DONOTGOHERE! The staff and the security are out of line. The staff took my credit card and forged my signature and gave themselves a $ 200 tip and forged the entire check! I finally got a copy of the receipt and it clearly is not my writing. To top it off they ended up stealing my wallet as well that had my phone in it just to be spiteful. No good vibes here…

If I could give no stars, I would. The only reason our group went last night was because we’re all huge Martin Garrix fans. We drove two hours just to see him and it was one of the worst events we’ve ever been to. We arrived at omnia at 10 because we had presale tickets. When we asked valet and security where the presale line was, no one knew. The opener dj sucked and played too long. Everyone there was over 30 and had no idea who garrix even was. The crowd was super rude, pushing through the crowd without so much as an «excuse me» people were yacking on the dance floor. And a bunch of creepers that wouldn’t take no for an answer. Overall, it was all of our first times there and I doubt we’ll be coming back.

I have been to my fair share of clubs in both San Diego and Vegas, so I already had an assumption(crowded, unfriendly bouncers/staff, etc.) of what my Saturday night would entail. Lets just say, this negative connotation surrounding my experiences with nightclubs was completely reversed with Omnia in San Diego. To begin, lines are separated based on your party i.e. guest list, presale tickets, VIP, etc. The lines moved quickly and communication/roles among the team was clear. Omnia features 3 stories: 2 of which are indoor and surround the dance floor/DJ booth with the 3rd floor being an outdoor terrace. After being checked in, a staff member by the name of Drew introduced himself, escorted us, and reminded us that he was here if we needed anything throughout the night. While we were well taken care of by the Omnia team, the night was off the hook with Drew’s hospitality so much that I am here writing this review today. Not only did he check on our party throughout the night, it was apparent that he genuinely enjoyed his job and made the Birthday girl felt special from little gestures such as wishing her Happy Birthday throughout the night to showering her with confetti. With that said, I wholeheartedly recommend Drew for your future events and will definitely be returning to Omnia!

Wow! This place always gets me laid!!! Haha, just kidding! my favorite place to go in downtown! The structure inside the club host an entertaining environment. Whether you’re upstairs or downstairs, you still feel like you’re part of the action. I really don’t recommend trying to reach the dance floor or even try to buy a drink at the bar on the first floor – unless you wanna fight through mankind! The best service for drinks is upstairs. Drinks pricing is pretty standard. And about the line, Well… It’s a lot easier to get inside the club after they let the line in. I never saw the point on being the first one in.

Came here a month ago with a group of friends just for a «fun» night out. We had tickets from one of my friends who’s a club promoter so we would avoid having to pay to get in. We arrived around 9:30 so the line was short. Problem was all the people that worked there didn’t seem to know where the line was for the people who already had tickets. Stupid, I know. So we walked back and forth a couple times. We finally got inside and I wasn’t really feeling the music. They played only EDM. Looked like a little rave with all the lights. The place was pretty boring until midnight. When more people started coming and the music got a little better too. By then one of my friends offered to buy shots. Someone bumped into her and she was wearing heels but security thought she was drunk. After one shot? You’re joking. So we all ended up getting kicked out because she stumbled. Yeah, not returning. Ever.

This is probably the place to go to if you’re looking for Vegas vibes in San Diego. After all, it is the sister club of OMNIA in Las Vegas! ** DISCLAIMER: I am kind of biased because I went here after signing up for a FREE open bar through Cocktail City ** What? Yes, you heard that right. From 8:30 — 10:30 pm, we were treated to free mixed drinks of Grey Goose and whatever juice. I believe it changes depending on who is sponsoring the event, but all you have to do is RSVP and show up! True, if you get there late you’ll have to brave the drunken masses to get to the bar, but I think it’s still better than paying $ 15 for one. Dress code does not seem to be strictly enforced. I forced my boyfriend to wear a nice button up, but when we arrived there were dudes wearing windbreakers, baseball hats, and sneakers. San Diego does like to keep it casual… maybe to a fault? If I look nice, you all better look nice too, damnit! As for the LAYOUT of the club: You can go upstairs for some air and to get a more lounge-y feel. There is a full rooftop area there with plenty of unreserved couches and tables. The downstairs is nice too, in theory. There’s the main dance floor, which is in a circle. It is surrounded by some tables, then the second layer has… more tables. The dance floor is TINY. You can hardly breathe in there, let alone dance! If your dancing consists of being pressed back-to-front with your partner and swaying side to side a bit, then perfect. Despite their massive fault of not providing enough room for GA, I still think OMNIA does a good job at providing some more nightclub life to SD. I keep on hearing about big names playing there who would previously only come to LA. If you have the money, I would highly consider getting a table if you enjoy your personal space.

Some dude threw a drink at my girl cause he thought she was trying to drink at his table when his friend invited our group of girls. Then the security saw her throw a drink back and kicked us out cause apparently the drink made its way to a VIP downstairs.(This all happened within like two seconds so I guess they either have very quick communication with the ground floor or. Yeah.) Guy at the table of course didn’t get talked to at all cause security«didn’t see it». Security thinks theyre the shit oooops! And I rarely ever give 1 star ratings… Overall, bunch of grabby dudes inside. I’m sure our group leaving skewed the ratio cause. There just weren’t too many gals. 3 levels — top level is the roof where people can smoke/they were playing hip hop. Music is kind of muted on the outside. Second balcony level was kind of nice cause it wasn’t too crowded.

Been coming here for a while now and its definitely one of the nicer, newer looking venues in S.D. Shane is my go to guy for bottle service as he always takes care of a good location and price for me. They also have some of the top djs often on weekends that other clubs around here cant get. I will be coming out again for sure and would recommend using Shane for a VIP host.

Come here when they have open bar: you can avoid paying $ 15 for cocktail drinks. One time a bouncer gave me a voucher for a free drink in the bathroom because I let him cut me: that was nice. This is one of the nicer clubs in SD. The bouncers are actually pretty friendly: when I lost my wallet, most of the bouncers tried to help me as much as they could. Decent selection of artists… not as good as the Vegas Omnia(obviously) but the tickets to this place is a lot cheaper and the venue is a lot smaller than the Vegas one so don’t come here with Vegasxpectations. Not really ratchet because they have a dress code.

STOLENIPHONE6S My two month old iphone was stolen on Saturday 2÷6÷16. It was very crowded in the club and I realized that my purse was no longer zipped. I knew immediately that it was gone. I always zip my purse. It is NEVER not zipped. I know you are probably thinking that because it was a club it was probably due to not being careful when drinking but we had just got there and I had only one beer. I attempted to get off to a section of the club where it was less busy so that I could use the find my iphone feature to attempt to track it right away. Many workers there told me that I had to move even as I told them I was attempting to track down the stolen phone. I attempted to ask a bartender if any had been turned in but barely got a second glance. I did eventually find one security guy that let me stand off to the side and borrow his phone. I do not know his name but I was grateful. The phone appeared as offline as the thief immediately had turned it off. I had the phone fully charged so it should have been trackable. Here is where the one star comes in. I left the bar because I was so mad. I mentioned to another security guy outside that it had been pick-pocketed from my purse and he said that it had also happened the night BEFORE. If there has been problems with thieves I would expect the club to let people know so that they can be on alert in the club. At the very least don’t shoo us off when we are attempting to recover our stolen items. This became a $ 1,000 night for me between getting in the club and the stolen phone.

This is going to be an extremely honest review because I absolutely despise going to night clubs because of the elitist attitudes of everyone that usually works there and the douches that go there and drop a grand on drinks to make it look like they’re rich when all they do is lay tile during the day. But my friend bought me a ticket to watch Benny Benassi here so I thought I might as well check it out. It’s actually not all that bad. We got the tickets beforehand and arrived really early for clubbing standards(9:45pm) so we whisked through the short line and into the club. No problems there. Club was relatively empty with two drunk people running around on the dance floor so bought two mixed drinks($ 33 total. Son of a mother duck!) and went on the 2nd floor to people watch. By the time Benny Benassi came on, the dance floor was packed and I started getting pushed around upstairs since we had the best spots in the house with a view of the whole club from our vantage point. But the energy level was crazy. A lot of jumping up and down and high fives to random people. Fun night. Overall, if you actually do have the cash or have a lot of friends going and can split the cost, I think the VIP tables are worth it. Not only do you get a great spot to sit and chillax and watch the show, you don’t have to worry about getting pushed around by all the club-goers plus for the guys, the hostesses in the white dresses that serve you are drop-dead gorgeous. I don’t know who’s in charge of hiring them but he did a good job finding them in terms of looks. Not sure about their service since I’ve never done VIP before but I’ll update this review if I ever decide to do it.

This is by far the best club in San Diego! Hands down. My host Elijah is one of the best in the business. From the hosts to the big name DJ’s they have weekly to the waitstaff and security staff. Everything about this club is top notch! If you ever need a table reservation ask for Elijah he will take good care of you I can assure you that! We always have a blast at this club never fails!!!

004⁄100 — 2016 Unilocal100CHALLENGE. I never went to OMNIA before it became… well, OMNIA, but this was okay. I was going to see Above & Beyond with my best friend and her bf and we had a pretty good time(the drinks helped!). The club itself is ok and is actually quite cramped. When we arrived we were actually quite early, so there weren’t TOO many people taking up space, but that changed rather quickly. Tbh there isn’t too much to really say. Above & Beyond were amazing, the bartenders were nice, the drinks were what you expected, and for the most part people were pretty chill. I enjoyed being on the rooftop the most, simply because there was actually room to breathe! Kinda killed me inside that they had no areas to sit inside because there were so many tables around, but it was ok otherwise.

The place is amazing! I had a blast coming here and I brought my friend here who was visiting from Texas. Updated this place a lot from what it was originally before they took over the facility. The only downside when we first got there was that they had split our group up, they took the guys to a different area to check them in and just let us in automatically. We waited for them once we got in for about 20 – 30 minutes before they were even able to come into the club. But in the end we had a total blast coming here! They have three different stories you can go to

I honestly had a blast here. The layout is very similar to the one in Vegas, at one point I was convinced I was in Vegas. I personally had a horrible experience at the Omnia in Vegas — crowded, long line to get in, rude workers. But here it was quite the opposite. The place was filled but not too crowded. I could easily walk in and out of the dance floor and find friends, the bartenders were super sweet, and no lines for anything. Prices for drinks are expensive(~$ 10), but it’s pretty expected. I will say partly it was the group of friends I was with and the DJ who exclusively played hip hop(seriously thank you). But will definitely come back in the future.

I’m torn between 3 and 2.5. I decided to just round down for a couple of reasons. 1. The security there gave us the wrong stamp to get into the Roof Top Party. Went back down and went outside to the person who checked us in because we weren’t being let in to the roof top. The security apologized and another security told us to follow him. 2. Security tell the other guys we are part of the party. So they let us through and well once we are up the stairs we are being rejected again. Told the security we got the wrong stamps and reason with him how would we get through the other guy if he didn’t let us through. There was 8 of us all together. 3. Walked through anyways. I was annoyed. Went to the bar and it was super packed. Couldn’t even buy a drink if we wanted to. Should have a separate cash bar in the corner somewhere, there’s plenty of space to do that. 4. Waited for the line to die down and order drinks. Jameson and Ginger tasted like sprite/7up. Barely a 4oz pour for closer to a 2oz/2count pour. Super annoying. 5. After two drinks and annoyed for paying and not getting the right amount, went downstairs to ordered drinks. Much better, however although I hooked the bartender up with $ 10 tip for two drinks he gave himself $ 5 more dollars. I was so upset. Kirk was the bartender and yes not only do I remember his name because he called himself Captain Kirk, it’s also on my receipt. I keep all my receipts. Been to too many places where Bartenders like Kirk decides to give themselves more tip. Shady. 6. This place tries to be trendy and similar to Vegas Omnia, unfortunately this is not Vegas. You can’t have super high price drinks with crappy pours, we are not drunk enough to not notice. This is San Diego people… OH N CAPTAIN Shady KIRK adding extra tip. NOTCOOL! 7. End of the night, wanting to head to the restroom and was told I can’t go even though I was next to the bar that is next to the restroom. I wasn’t that far and they didn’t let me use the restroom. I had to go next door to the restaurant and use it. That means I was asked to go out the other door, walk around and then go to the restaurant with a line full of people drunk and hungry. Great. Definitely care less to come back here.

The best thing to ever touch down in San Diego(night club wise). Every night that Omnia is open, expect headliner dj’s inside this resident. Decked out in all gold furnishings, this club is spaceous being that there are three floors to this residency. This club used to be the old Stingaree but not too long after Hakkasan Group bought them out and renewed the whole building to which is now known as Omnia Nightclub(there is also onen in Las Vegas which is the big sister of this club). If you are looking to have a good time with the best music and headliners in town, Omnia San Diego is the safest bet to show your friends a good time. My favorite artists that have performed here are as follows, Dada Life, Nervo, 3lau, Steve Aoki, and Calvin Harris!

Meh. I absolutely LOATHE nightclubs. I worked so many years at one that I got completely burned out. But my high school friend was in town to celebrate her bachelorette weekend so I had no choice. But my review is unbiased, I promise. We got there at 11pm(a Saturday) and the line was ridiculous. Because my friend had some contacts we got right in. Guys at the door seemed friendly. Place is SMALL. We tried to get into the dance floor but we simply could not. I never in my life had to wait in a line to get to a dance floor. I felt like a sardine and it was so stupid I told my friends I was just gonna walk around while they squeezed themselves among that mess. Walking around seemed like a nightmare sometimes. TOOMUCHPEOPLE!!! Aaaaaaahhhhhh, I could not wait to leave. I don’t know if it was just that night but I’ve never seen that many tourists in my life. Starting with the line outside, you can get a sense of it by seeing everyone showing passports instead of drivers license. For a moment I thought I was in the Middle East. A LOT of idiotic men groping me. Like, literally touching my body parts. I actually had to slap one in the face. And no, I don’t have huge boobs nor was wearing a revealing outfit. I had come from work so I was actually too covered. I know it’s a nightclub but I don’t think this is an acceptable behavior. Security should kick those men out. Bartenders were quick. Drinks were strong. I drink scotch and bartenders got both my drinks right on point. They are overpriced but what do you expect from a club that claims to be «upscale». Bathroom was decent. Music was good for its purpose. Lighting was just meh. Nothing mind-blowing. Servers all look the same like Barbie dolls with huge boobs and hair extensions. Wish they embraced diversity a bit more, it would look better. Lights went on at 1:30am and bouncers were rushing us to finish our drinks. I thought stuff ends at 2am? Why should I chug a glass of scotch at 1:30am?! I didn’t like that. By 1:45am they were literally pushing us out. So annoying. Fine, I’ll leave! Overall it was an ok experience. It’s a nightclub so you get the standard: expensive drinks, cocky men, cookie-cutter-looking women, loud music, drunk people, blah blah. It is what it is. It’s not my thing so I won’t be back, but if you enjoy the scene, it’s an ok place. Just ok.

Omnia in San Diego is probably the hottest nightclub in town but it’s honestly just an average venue, especially when you compare it to places in Vegas, LA or NYC. This place is definitely an improvement over Stingaree which was the previous tenant of this building but still lacks the lineup and feel of a world class nightclub. The layout is pretty simple with a dance floor on the first floor, randomness on the second floor and a decently appointed rooftop complete with lounges and tables etc… Overall, Omnia San Diego is a cool spot to unwind, relax and have a good time, just don’t come in with expectations that will knock your socks off. Pros– Location Music Rooftop bar Drink strength Décor Decent bottle service Cons– Crowded Lineup not as good as Vegas Omnia A bit small Pricey Almost but not quite high end

Typical SD night club. I like the upstairs area and the dance floor is better than other SD clubs. They have a boomin DJ system setup. So much so that if you dance near the DJ you will literally feel the bass blowing your hair away. Typical SD club crowd… expensive drinks… some weirdos from time to time. Saw a couple weirdo creepos get kicked out and one drunk lady tried to dance with me but when i wouldn’t she slowly moved her hand up my shirt to my neck and slowly tried to lightly choke me. I was like WTF??? hahaa… as her boyfriend or dude friend or whatever tried to pull her away. comedy i tell ya! drunk girlz… they funny. If you’re here to dance… chill away from the DJ… peeps push too much in that area.

Unilocal should have ZERO star for these types of business/nightclub that don’t know how to let their customers have a good time. PLEASE people, take my warning and take your money elsewhere! We were group size of 18+ lovely young professionals(not little teenagers — so we know how to carry ourselves) coming out to have a great nite for a bachelorette party, which 16 of us were all from out of town. We got bottle service on the rooftop, which you can barely hear the music. We had shots at our table and got a good buzz(not falling off drunk) and everything was fine so far. Until we paid for the tab. I paid for the tab when we were done drinking, which they insisted we pay after our first shot. Who does that?! Don’t you normally pay after you are done? So after I paid, a couple of us were ready to go dance off our buzz downstairs, where we heard the music was louder and better. We had a «nice» bouncer tell us «come this way» and took us to the elevator and when we arrived, we were at the exit door instead of the dance floor. HOLDUP! What just happened??? Yes, we just got TRICKED by the bouncer and he would not let us back in. We tried to talk to the promoter outside to let us back in, at least to get the rest of our friends that were still inside. Since most of us were from out of town, we needed to make sure everyone got home safely. Thank god everyone did though. OMNIA, if you don’t want your customers to have a few drinks and have fun, then you are in the wrong business. Maybe you should go open a church instead. You also need to learn about common courtesy, instead of tricking your customer to kick them out, you could have simply said«ladies, you guys are having waaay too much fun here, please let us escort you out so you can have a better time at a better club,» we would have been completely fine with that. Then you might have earned your sorry self another star.

Purchased tickets three weeks ago for Tommy Trash on September 28th. Received an email at 7:30pm on September 28th that due to illness, Tommy Trash would not be performing. Instead, some unheard of DJ would be performing. Um… what? We live in north county and my boyfriend bartends so it was already a trek and involved planning to get downtown. This email struck me with the same perplexity as if I had ordered a certain dish at a restaurant and had a totally different dish set in front of me and being charged for it without the error corrected. There are apparently no refunds at all. Even if you buy tickets for a specific DJ and JUSTKIDDING some random DJ will be performing. The lack of professionalism and customer service at this despicable club is ridiculously infuriating. I spent $ 40 on these tickets, completely out the window, even though two hours before we were supposed to be there the only performer that would be performing wouldn’t even be there. I am furious that I am being forced to eat $ 40AND disappointed that we did not see Tommy Trash and will never give my business to any Hakkasan club and discourage everyone I know as well as the bar goers that my boyfriend speaks to from going to Omnia.

I was not impressed with this place at all! Came here for a bachelorette party to see Krewella, and we ended up leaving early and not seeing Krewella because it was that bad. First, I was the DD so I was not drinking. I went to get a water and they are $ 5 for a sample size bottle. Ridiculous!!! Second, this place was beyond packed. No where to stand, or even dance. Upstairs was crazy! No room to walk. So we finally found a place between the bar and the VIP booth walls. Then the bouncers rudely yelled at my friends and told them to move because we couldn’t stand there. He got in their faces and threatened to «throw their asses out» if they didn’t comply. Me and some of the other girls were over it so we left the venue. On our way out there was a spilled drink on the floor and one of the girls slipped in it and hurt herself. Not cool and complete safety hazard. The door guy laughed at her and didn’t even try making sure she was ok. Douchebag! Get it together Omnia!

I walked in here with an old friend of mine. We got through the line fast, paid our $ 30 cover, and were inside. The club was popping for a Thursday night. It was crowded, but manageable. The bouncers were pretty cool, and the bartenders were efficient in their service. The drinks came out alright. This club has three levels: the ground floor with the DJ, the upper floor with another bar, and the roof with a more relaxed vibe. The rooftop area also has its own DJ. I liked the lighting and the music playing, it reminded me of Hakkasan in Vegas. I recommend this place, as it has high energy.

Alright, now that I’ve been here twice, I can finally have the«Omnia» experience. Overall this club delivers on so many levels(figuratively and literally). The truth is, I’ve never been a fan of Stingaree. The energy and vibe was a miss every single time I went, and it was far from being my first choice in San Diego’s downtown nightlife. My first time here, my friends and I were there for about half and hour and left and it was pretty early in the night. On my second time here with a different group of friends, Coupled with Comic-con festivities, Cash Cash was headlining and the entire night was full of energy, great music, excellent vibes, and lots and lots of dancing! The interior feels like Vegas once you enter(move aside, Fluxx!) with at least two sides with giant LCD screens and get this — you don’t need earplugs because the bass isn’t overpowering. The fog was nice and definitely kept the place cool. Drinks were very strong. Yes, the prices are what you’d expect at any club — you’re not here to get the best deal — but damn, it was a group effort to finish my drink since there was probably a 3:1 ratio on vodka to RedBull. FYI they are very strict on the guestlist, so get there early(before 10:30pm?) and make sure your exact name is on the list. One of the women gave me a hard time because she couldn’t find my name, but the lines move fairly quickly and the bouncers are friendly.
