My Candy Jar

What a pleasant surprise to find a candy store inside a carwash. As I walked in, to the left was bins full of bulk candy. At first I took a look at all the varieties, before making my final choices. There are gummies, sours, jawbreakers, chocolates, and even a separate section just for jelly beans.
I used my Unilocal deal $ 5 for 10 worth of bulk candy. There were different kind of gummy like worms, bears and even a hello kitty one. I just had to get because its hello kitty & I’ve never seen that before. Also they have some old school candy like jawbreakers, hot tamales & the like. The chocolate section was limited & I ended up buying dark chocolate with marshmallows yum!
There were quite a couple choices for jelly belly jelly beans. Since I didn’t fill my bag up with enough to use the deal, I went back and added a few jelly beans. Also the young lady who rang me up was nice & patient with me. She even gave me a punch card for each time I come in. Definitely be hitting it up next time I have sweet tooth!

Wonderful candy store. The only other candy store in SD is in the Westfield mall and this place is cheaper, they have coupons on all Albertson’s grocery receipts (across the street) and punchcards for a free half pound of candy, a great selection and the only place like it in San Diego. The owner is also very nice and generous.

I give this place 5 stars mainly for the amazing service. Sam, the owner was the sweetest, most accommodating person I’ve ever met. A day before my daughter’s party, I decided to buy all yellow candy. There wasn’t much in stock, but Sam helped me find anything that was available.
Here’s a tip for those who want to have a candy bar for a party… Call in advanced and Sam will help order the specific color or theme you want.
I will come back here again.

This is a great little hidden gem. Located in a gas station/​car wash it is easily overlooked. There is a great selection of unique candy here that is sold by the pound (well, ¼ pound). They have an excellent selection of gummy everything. I found everything I needed for an ocean party (gummy sharks, penguins, starfish, whales and more!) A whole wall of Jelly Belly candies and even some european chocolate. Great find!
