Maxi’s

I am proud to give Maxi’s a SOLID 4 Stars. I have dining at this location frequently over the last two years, which tends to happen to all of the restaurants that are within walking distance (1 single street) from my office.
I have had everything from their soup, to their salads, and their spaghetti and meatballs is EXACTLY when you need when you are craving some comfort food. My favorites are their Cobb Salad, Caesar Chicken Salad, and on Mondays (usually) they serve a Minestrone soup that is awesome out of this world. The minestrone soup is just packed with vegetables — No beans, no noodles, just lots of great sized vegetables making it a great option for vegans, vegetarians, or those with gluten sensitivities.
Lunch time crowd — Beware! The line can sometimes go ALL the way out the door. My recommendation is to use the service they provide which is to text your order (858.947.8700) and it will be ready in 15 minutes. That time is not guaranteed necessarily, but that the text message back to me has said all 12 times I have text ordered and I’ve never had to wait for my food. When you walk in to pick up your text order, head straight to the front! There is a special like for texters!

Location: pretty small and has 1 TV.
Service: excellent. Good people.
Food: There’s really nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either. They have burgers, sandwiches, pies, salads, wraps, pastas, and some breakfast options. Prices vary from $ 6 – 10 on average.
