Currently sitting in here eating lunch. I ordered the chicken bowl and it’s really good. Chicken was flavorful, rice was cooked perfectly and they have a cilantro/tomato thing on top. Really good! They do have a grill in here cooking the meats, however they are using a BLOWDRYER to move the smoke out of the building… Poor circulation? Vent systems broken? Who knows… Other than that oddity it’s pretty good.

I really like the food at this restaurant. It’s so fresh and tasty. I came in today for chicken plate and my chicken was grilled after I ordered. It was worth the wait. I got a complementary chicken soup while I waited. I have been coming for years and food is always so tasty.

Food is good. Service is lacking. I order two items for takeout. I didn’t check what they gave me and when I opened up the bag it turned out that they forgot one of the items…

I chose this place not only because of the smokey grill smell, but because I do watch what I eat. To my surprise, it better than I thought. Because everything is fresh and grilled to order the prices are slightly higher($ 11-$ 15 per dish), but so is the quality and taste. Therefore, I do think it’s worth it. Portions are fairly big, however, more veggies than protein. I’m here for lunch so that’s okay. I ordered the Tony special with chicken. It’s 1 grilled chicken kabob, grilled veggies over a bed of salad. The chicken was mildly seasoned. It was kind of dry but I expected that when grilling diced chicken breast. Veggies.yum. Not sure what type of salad but it looked like iceberg. When I think about it, it was more of a slaw. The dressing was some lemon vinaigrette. I’m big on lemon vinaigrette right now so it was a hit for. Needless to say I crushed it. I hope I didn’t look like a pig in front of my coworker. Overall, good food and good service! They bring your food out to you since it does take some time(remember it’s grilled to order). The décor did not catch my eye but plenty of outdoor seating. One of the better restaurants in the plaza. Enjoi!

Great place to go for lunch. Service is quick and cheap. Food is also fresh and healthy. Gluten free options are available.

Mmmmmm the grilled smokey smells permeates through the parking lot. It’s hard to give this place a try. Located in the Fresh & Easy plaza(along with Starbucks, Burger King, Donut Touch, and more …), this joint is the combination of fresh and tasty. It’s an upscaled Mediterranean place that has that fast food feel. You order at the counter, and you get a number. Keep in mind food takes approximately ten minutes. This is NOT fast food. But the quality of meat and quality and taste of the side items(rice and salad) really shows. They have wraps, bowls, and combo plates(skewers). Meats range from chicken, beef, lamb and filet mignon. Prices are more on the pricey side than the average side. At about 11 dollars average for a combo dish, it is worth it every now and then. Wraps are pretty filling but lacks sauce, and no dedicated sauces except their house mustard mayo type stuff if you ask for it. Also there is a bit too much wrap in the wrap(see pics), so that they had to wrap it a certain way. You can tell it’s a large wrap. So many wraps in that sentence ! Definitely worth checking out but would appreciate dedicate sauces like most Mediterranean places have and would be great if the prices were lower :)

Decided to try this place out because my coworkers keep raving about it. Before I even walked in one of the employees tried hitting on me. I ignored him and spoke with the cashier who was very nice. I told her it’s my first time and she explained the menu to me. I got a chicken salad and waited about ten minutes. It was super hot in there. That one employee kept staring at me like I was a piece of meat… I continued to ignore him. When my number was called I went to the counter to get my food. He came up to me but I left in a hurry. Then he followed me to my car! I got inside and he was starring at me as if I was interested. I didn’t hear what he said… I was grossed out. The food is really good and seems healthy. It’s a bit expensive but Mediterranean generally is. Because of that guy I want to give one star… I’ll give three stars but I doubt I’ll come back if I see him there.

My favorite place for a super healthy & delish lunch. The plates are huge & the portions are more than satisfying. Could prob make it 2 lunches, but I always feel the need to eat it all!

This is a good, solid Persian/Middle Eastern dining option in Mira Mesa. I am sure their bread and butter is the weekday lunch crowd, but they are open for dinner and on the weekends. Better yet, they deliver! Mira Mesa is incredibly stingy with restaurants that deliver in the area. I am thankful that Marketplace Grille delivers so that there is a nice, healthy option. The ground beef kabob wrap is my go-to, and the kabob combo plates are the best bang for your buck. Definitely recommend.

Location: In the complex with the fresh n easy. Next to the subway Décor: Mostly shared outdoor seating with the other places around the area. Has some seating inside, but usually smells like smoke. Food & Drinks: I ordered one of the lunch specials with the lamb and chicken skewers. I had to say I was not impressed nor did it taste good. The portion was small for it being $ 13. The salad tasted bland and sour and so did the tomato. The rice had no seasoning to it at all and neither did the chicken. The only thing with a non-sour and savory good flavor was the lamb skewer. I was extremely disappointed as I was hoping more from this place. Next time if I want this food I will go to Naseem’s. The portions are better there and the taste is better than this place. Eat elsewhere my friends :)

The only«healthy» choice in the plaza worth going to. The food is fresh. The meat is good. The salads maybe a little overdressed(with dressing/sauce). The only thing that brings the review down is that it is pricy for what you get. Portions aren’t the biggest, and service can be hit or miss. Sometimes it’s super friendly, sometimes it’s «what do you want». But you can sit anywhere you want outside and they’ll give you a number and find you quickly. The chicken plate and Tony’s special are the way to go. Their herbed basmati rice is also pretty tasty.

I’ve heard really great things about this place so I decided to check it out. Really wasn’t my favorite. I got a sirloin wrap and there was more wrap than there was anything else. Very dry. Lots of pickles in it too which is not what I’m used to when I get a wrap. I love pickles. I ate them up. Just usually get a sauce or something. I tried to eat the sirloin on its own but it was dry and flavorless. The wrap was something else too. I don’t know what. It just wasn’t my favorite. I should’ve gotten a kabob instead. Those looked really good.

So delicious! I always get the sirloin bowl with shirazi(cucumber/tomato salad) instead of tabouleh. The skewers are amazing and flavorful. I stopped getting the chicken because to me it always tastes a tad like fish, but no one else I’ve gone with has that issue. It’s in a food court type of area with outdoor seating for all the places. There are a few tables inside.

Tender, delicious chicken and lamb! My other favorites are the hummus and salads. Everything is prepared fresh, and the aromas from the place makes me drool! Ine of the best spots in Mira Mesa!

This place is the best. It’s right up the street from where I work. I get the salmon bowl with herbed rice and it is amazing. $ 12 well spent every time. Very flavorful, and a healthy meal. The salmon is cooked perfectly every time. The owner is usually behind the counter and he’s a super nice guy too. Definitely someone I want to support staying in business! You should, too! :)

This is one of my go-to spots when I’m lazy and don’t pack a lunch. Tony’s special is my favorite thing. I keep meaning to try other things, but I just can’t. It’s too good. Your choice of meat served with some grilled onion, tomato, zucchini, and squash; all served over a bed of lettuce with some tomato and cucumber salad. YUMMMMM… and if you get it without the lavash, it’s, like totally Paleo/Gluten Free for those of you who are into that sort of thing. Staff is always super nice, just all in all a very well-run establishment with delicious offerings.

I ordered Tony’s special. The chicken was very soft and well grilled along with the other vegetables, however I did not like the base which was made of lettuce. The food was healthy but did not taste like anything special. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish and their other options might be better. Or maybe I am from out of town and comparing it with other restaurants and not necessarily restaurants in this area.

Marketplace Grille is the bee’s knees. I work down the street from this place and it has become our work’s favorite for delivery. I mean double points earned for having delivery as an option! My go to is the chicken kabob w/the herb basmati rice… that rice is killer — so good! The kabob is served well, no dry pieces here. It also comes with a side salad — it’s their own little specialty, lots of veggies. I think I can order from this place one a week if I had the urge to buy lunch that often, lol. The portion is extremely large — it’s a tough one to finish in one setting… i can do it, but it’ll take me awhile — and i eat a lot! I don’t know what the location actually looks like, but I know the center it’s in and there is plenty of outdoor seating.

I work right across the street from Marketplace. I absolutely love their hummus and salmon skewer. Even if they are busy, they still get your food out in a timely manner and everyone I have encountered is very friendly. They seem to go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. Not to mention they are clean, which is one my favorite parts of a restaurant! If you’re in the area and have a craving for some delicious Greek food, stop by here! Try the salmon skewer, you won’t regret it!

I used to come here so often since I worked near by that I had to make an effort to try and limit myself from coming here multiple times a week for lunch. Located in the food court on the far West Side of the Fresh and Easy plaza this place cranks out some serious and high quality eats! Juicy kabobs, fresh salads and their fluffy rice this place has everything you can want. They are known for their grilled meats here and they do it very well. Everything is grilled to order and you can even watch them grill your food. Caution though as it does get extremely smokey and hot inside. I highly recommend the filet mignon since it is so juicy and tender. Definitely worth the few extra bucks. If beef isn’t you thing then get the chicken. The chicken here is so moist and flavorful. I have not had a better chicken kabob in SD. I really mean it. Every plate comes with a giant salad and a giant side of rice. I can never finish the salad, it’s that big and same with the rice. You really get a ton of food. For those of you who are carb conscious they have a special plate where you get a grilled veggie kabob and a meat kebob. I have gotten that before and it’s so good. The veggies are tomato, zucchini, and squash. This place is expensive, like $ 15 a plate so that’s why I had to limit myself form eating here everyday. It’s super easy to phone your order ahead of arriving to save time. There is ample seating outside as well as inside. The workers are super friendly and take pride in the food they make. Watch out for a crazy parking situation though during the peak lunch rush on weekdays,
