Make Up Artist On the Go

Kirsten was great! I had a large wedding party who initially only 5 of them wanted their make up done. Well needless to say after Kirsten had done the first girls makeup, they all wanted their makeup done! So instead of doing only 5 girls, Kirsten ended up doing 13 girls! I was stressed about time but she remained calm and fit us all in! And not to mention made us all look gorgeous! I would definitely book her again for any makeup needs in the future!

Kirsten did my make up for my wedding September 27, 2014 and she did my four bridesmaids and my maid of honor. Katie did all of our hair. I even had two trials before the wedding because I wasn’t happy with the first trial run. Kirsten was so easy to communicate with and she was so nice and made me feel comfortable asking for what I wanted. On my wedding day I felt so beautiful I don’t think I’ve ever felt more beautiful and my bridesmaids and maid of honor all looked gorgeous. I could not be happier with how it turned out. Kirsten is fabulous with makeup and Katie did all of our hair amazing.

Kirsten and Peyton are incredible! Professional, reliable, punctual and incredibly talented. We had a two day affair for our wedding festivities and I had a large wedding party. Kirsten did the make up and Peyton did hair (they even brought in a third person for hair on the day of the wedding) and everyone looked FABULOUS! They stayed on schedule and really listened to the look everyone was going for. Really grateful for Kirsten and her team and would highly recommend them!

I am from Chicago and was getting married in San Diego Aug 2013. Being so far away I had no idea where to go for hair and make-​up. I got a recommendation for Kirsten at Make Up Artist on the Go from the event coordinator at the restaurant we were doing our dinner at. I checked out her website and called and spoke to her and booked her that day. Her prices were very good and include fake eyelashes!!! She does make up only, but works with hair people and would come to our hotel. That was perfect for me considering I am not from there and not familiar with the area at all. To say we spoke a few times prior to the wedding is an understatement! If I had any questions or concerns, I could call, text or email her and she was quick to put my mind at ease. She also gave me some ideas and suggestions of places to go while we were in San Diego, and was instrumental in helping me set up a place to go after our wedding dinner when my original plan fell apart! The day of the wedding she was prompt in arriving to the hotel and worked quickly to get my make-​up done in addition to my maid of honor and my mom. Since we had only ever talked on the phone I didn’t have a trial, and never even met her until the morning of! But she was very relaxed and got to work on me and I was very comfortable and just really excited! The girl that did our hair (Cristina) was amazing as well, especially considering she had to do two flower girls! My make-​up looked flawless as did my maid of honor’s…she uses an airbrush foundation and nothing rubbed off and it didn’t look like I had make-​up caked on my face. I even had a friend look at my wedding pictures and make the comment on one of them from the very end of the night that my make-​up still looked «fresh’!! I can honestly say that I have never felt more beautiful! I only wish I could work with her and her hair crew all the time! Overall, working with her was a great experience and if you have the opportunity to get made up by her I would take it. She made what was a perfect day and wedding even better.

Kirsten did my and my brides maids’ make-​up this past weekend for my wedding in San Diego. I loved what she did! I was looking for something 60’s inspired and it turned out exactly how I had imagined and wanted. The bridal party looked natural and beautiful. (Her partner who does hair is also wonderful!) Kirsten had a friendly and relaxed style which I appreciated given how nervous I was that day. A friend of mine recommended her to me and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a make-​up artist for any occasion. I plan on contacting her for a private make up lesson so I can learn some of her tricks that made myself and my friends look so amazing!

Kirsten did an amazing job with a make-​up lesson today and I am so pleased. I had a great time and I am sad to wash it all away, looks fantastic.
