Left Coast Restoration

I manage several rental properties. Tom Gore, the owner of Left Coast Restoration gave us a bid for a remodel of a duplex that was competitively priced and we verbally agreed to contract with him. Prior to signing the contract, I had a few simple questions, one of which was why his website was not working. They had only been listed on the BBB for three years and I was doing the research any normal person would.
We had a cordial conversation but after asking a few basic questions, Tom said he no longer wanted to do business with us. I had already informed another contractor that I would not be using them. That contractor took another job upon hearing this.
Tom would not give any specific reason why he elected not to move forward after initially agreeing to do so. He would not return my calls.
It seems Tom and Left Coast Remodeling have something to hide and I would be careful doing business with them.

Tom was referred to me by my contractor who does work for my business. It was Sunday at 530AM when I called him. He sounded like he was awake and once I told him I had water ruining my brand new laminate floors just put in 3 weeks prior, he said Steve, I will see you in less than 30 minutes. He arrived in 20. His crew was not available that day and he worked for 6 hours, with me as helper, and we got all the damaged flooring up and gone, the drywall cut and everything being dried by 1pm. The next day his crew came to finish the demo part and recheck the moisture levels in the drywall and slab. Two days later after insurance approval they set to rebuild my home. It was done in under 2 weeks. We had a few days we were waiting on the insurance firm. Marty the flooring specialist was unreal. He did a great job as they all did! Kudos to Tom and Leftcoast Restoration!!! TY all.

Trustworthy, thorough and extremely professional! Tom and Left Coast Coast Restoration greatly exceeded my expectations. Tom took an «ownership» mindset of my place and treated it like his own; very detail oriented and completely devoted to getting the customer 100% satisfied with the work. He worked tirelessly between the owners, renters, and different insurance companies to make sure everything went smoothly and was resolved quickly. I’ve already recommended them to one of my friends and highly recommend anyone who is need of these services to contact them before any other company!

They were better than expected. They gave me a great price and were recommended by a Realtor who had used them before. They were on time and worked into the evening when needed. I tore out a bathtub and replace with walk-​in shower. There were a few glitches which they solved (moving water pipe) with no problem. It took a week and every day they cleaned up and at the end they cleaned everything so the place looked great. Even washed down the steps to garage which they used to bring up cut tile. They were alway available for phone calls and answered my questions prior to doing to job. Very good!!!

Tom and his crew are amazing! I wouldn’t trust anyone else for any type of work I need done on my home or my rental. Tom takes care of all the repairs at my rental unit. I let him know what needs to be done and he takes it from there. One phone call is all I have to make! He coordinates with my tenant and gets the job done. All I have to do is pay the bill, which by the way is much, much less than anyone else. The quality is excellent and best of all Tom is so easy to work with.

Tom and his crew are great. At my mom’s house in San Diego, they did everything from fixing a roof leak to landscaping work — and everything in between. I have also known Tom for a few years and I know him to be trustworthy and honest. The work was great and the price fair. I couldn’t be happier.
