I tried this place out on two different occasions during my vacation in SD. The first day, I visited simply to try the acai bowls that I had read so much about in other Unilocal reviews. They were pretty good! While I prefer the much more loaded bowls down at Better Buzz coffee on the same street, these acai bowls were good too. The bowls here had a much more«natural» feel about them. On the second visit, we tried some juices. Both were very good, however, they were pricey! We paid $ 18.00 for two juices! I don’t think they were worth it necessarily, but they tasted good.

Disappointed with the prices and their smoothies are more like fresh pressed juices, the flavor was great but misleading.

A little juice shop in MB that was suggested by a friend. I have never tried Acai bowls before because I thought it was just all hype. I have no means of comparison but I thought their Acai bowls here were delish! Not too sweet, lots of fruits and GF granola. Service is really nice. 1 table inside. 2 tables outside. I would definitely recommend this place to those wanting lighter fare and something to fuel you for your surf or sand adventures in SD.

Tiny small juice and smoothie shop on Mission boulevard. its a pick up and go type of place, there is no seating area in the store or outside. All ingredients are local and organic, but it comes with a price. $ 8 for 12oz and $ 9 for 16oz smoothies.

Just got done with an intense workout and I didn’t want to cheat myself so I treated myself to an acai medium size smoothie. It was absolutely what my body needed! I love this place. It’s a tiny earthy juice spot which also serves juices, smoothies and bowls. I think it’s a plus that they also offer combos which was roughly around $ 15/$ 16(not bad for healthy stuff) acai bowl &12 oz juice/smoothie! Just come here! Ricky is awesome he suggested the absolute acai drink for me! Amazing!

Best acai bowl I’ve ever had in my life. I came here during the Xmas Holiday weekend & loved speaking with the owner, who I learned worked at quince — if only she would expand this place! My photos say it all — strawberry smoothie & acai bowl were made with so much love!

Here’s my story b/c every Unilocaler loves reading a story. Im a fat ass. A San Francisco(land of good food and too cold during the year to do a good run) who came down to San Diego for a few days of R&R. Im walking around and seeing a ton of surfer type bodies walking the beach… you know, tall lanky skinny european type bodies… definitely not mine. Anyhow, newly taking up the sport of running, I would jog by this place during my last few trots down mission blvd. Today, I was parched and needed something rather than the sterile taste of water on my taste buds. I ordered the Pear Necessity and couldnt beleive the orgasm my mouth was enduring. Seriously??? It was so good that I ordered The Green One so I can get a health kick… Dang, another great flavor. This place is awesome!

First of all, their Acai bowls are hands down THEBEST I’ve ever had anywhere on earth. A lot of other places mix the frozen Acai with bananas or something to spread it out, which is gross and noticeable if you’re picky like me. Juice Wave doesn’t cut any corners and it shows! I get Acai bowls here several times a week. It’s an addiction. Try it and you’ll never go anywhere else again. Also, this is the ONLY fresh ORGANIC juice place in PB! Literally no other juice bars here use organic produce. Trust me, I checked. They’re the only place here that really cares about using great local farms as sources. I suggest trying any of the juices, but also get a shot of pressed ginger if you’re brave enough. It’s really spicy but so good for you and clears out your system. Great way to start a cleanse. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, I’ve never had a bad experience ordering from them. The effort that goes into sourcing their products deserves 5 stars itself, and you can really tell in the taste. I’m so glad Juice Wave opened up a store front here. We need more places like this in San Diego!

When you’ve spent the last 3 hours sweating out points on the beach volleyball courts, there’s only one place to head straight for in order to get re-energized. Well, actually there are two, but if you are hitting the courts around Mission Beach — then your go to spot is Juice Wave. If you are near La Jolla, then SeaSide is your weapon of choice. The homemade almond milk acai at Juice Wave is all you need to re-spawn. Their acai bowl is tantamount to stem cells for the human body(without all the disagreement and negative connotation). The hemp hearts and granola are perfectly sweet. My only room for improvement is that the last two times I have only had banana and blueberries on my acai bowl and I know their board also says it comes with strawberries. I’ve noticed too late on both occassions, but please do not forget the strawberries — they are essential to MY acai bowl. Overall, excellent health conscious product — especially for the price.

This place is amazing, it’s all natural with local products. By far the best açai bowl in San Diego, and I’ve tried a lot of them. Check it out, right in the heart of Mission Beach one block from the bay and one block from the beach.

Super cute shop located in between the beach & bay. The staff is always extremely friendly and awesome! Willing to explain their offerings. There’s samples near the entrance to help you make a decision and there’s always flavored water to enjoy while you wait. Last time the staff offered to refill my glass while I was sitting outside(I felt pretty special). Their fruits and vegetables are sourced from local farms(WOOT!) and the prices are reasonable considering the high quality of fresh ingredients. Love this shop! Can’t wait to come back

Juice truck on wheels !!! Great concept !!! LOVEIT !!! On-the-go juice peeps. literally !!! I was fortunate to discover this food truck at a Global Meditation event at La Costa Resort with Deepak Chopra. They were one of the healthier offerings available. I was excited to see their flashy, colorful, and vibrant food truck ! You can’t miss it folks !!! It’s wham bam up in yo face truck !! Great customer service ! Young lady was enthusiastic and upbeat ! You can tell she enjoyed being there. She even asked me for my ‘alias’ as she was writing it down on my juice cup order. Hehe just like a good barista ! :) Juice options were great. Loved the names and the variations ! I opted for the ‘Tasty Melons’ which contained all organic(score!) watermelon, mint, strawberries, cucumber, and oranges. Very light and refreshing. It was a HOT day and after a yoga sesh, I needed some good fresh juice to replenish myself ! The quality is there and everything is made to order. Love takes time they say so be patient. :) My friends got the acai bowl and smoothie. I had a taste of the smoothie and it reminded me of a milkshake. very thick and creamy, but no dairy ! It’s handmade almond milk ! Even better ! Amazing taste ! I also noticed several top of the line brand superfoods that they use(i.e., maca, goji berries, cacao, etc.) So you know you’re feeding yourself something nutritious and good for your mind, body, and soul ! GOODSTUFF !!! I have yet to visit the actual store, but would love to try other menu items ! Love the tagline: «Sippin’ on Zen and Juice !» haha Snoop Dogg would be proud ! :D 5STARS for the awesome cool lookin’ juice truck, quality menu items, and happy go lucky staff !!!

Fantastic and prettily decorated hole in the wall juice bar. The fresh handmade almond milk is the best almond milk I have had in 20 years of drinking the stuff. Several years ago, I stopped drinking the store bought versions due to the additives and it was a delight to have it again in this incredible raw and fresh form, The subtle flavor of lavender is amazing! All manner of smoothies and juices can be ordered, all with organic and locally sourced fresh ingredients. On top of it all, Arley and her team are open hearted, friendly and go the extra mile to make your day!

I found this little juice spot on my way to gone bananas swimwear shop. They have free samples set up. The shop is soo cute and tiny, it gives you a beachy feel. I came when they were closing at 5 and a worker named Arly was super friendly! She didn’t try to rush me out and she gave me their store hours and also told me cool things they have to offer. I got a bottle of orange and grapefruit juice. It looks like a snapple bottle but has their fresh juice in there! Doesn’t look cheap one bit and it was good! It gives you a bitter after taste due to the grapefruit. I would definitely come back here to try out more!
