I stopped by here, while on a business trip. The first visit I had a Pitaya bowl and it was amazing! On a second trip back to San Diego, I went back and tried the Pitaya smoothie, it was also amazing. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular.

Good but expensive. Paid around $ 13 for a large. Would recommend checking out some of the smaller, family owned/operated options in PB.

I was looking for a place to get Acai and found two acai places right next to each other on the corner of Mission. Do yourself a favor and skip the flashy place on the corner and check out The Blend! They have a really great selection of organic Acai bowls! I had the power protein bowl with organic peanut butter mixed in, I’ve never seen or had it like that before but it was SO amazing! I will definitely be back!

Excellent vanilla bean smoothie. Both staff people were friendly and smiling. Note: No parking and I had to call to find the place. It’s 2nd from the corner, in between the 20⁄20 and lingerie shops. I walked past it twice.

I got the Tropical Bowl and it was yummy! My only complaint would be the size. They have two sizes of which I got the smaller of the two but still could only finish about half of it. I wish they made a smaller size. Staff was super friendly. I’d go back.

I LOVETHISPLACE! I have an office at the Catamaran next door so it’s convenient for me to come here often. Even if it wasn’t convenient, I would still come here. I love the owners– they are amazing. Very friendly and accommodating to every weird and wild thing I might order or substitute. My colleagues come here on the daily, too. It’s very clean and welcoming. Many menu options, too. The Raw Energy is my FAVORITE. All of their acai bowls are amazing, too. I’m currently on a strict diet and I forgot a meal at home one day. I came to The Blend and asked if I could just get a protein shake with a scoop of peanut butter. Yes! They of course made it happen… and blended my protein shake so it tasted delicious and chocolaty! I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful business!

Oh my goodness. I had the Paradise Acai Bowl. Amazing. I am addicted. The fresh fruit was perfect, just the right amount of coconut drizzled with honey. I felt like I was eating the most decadent dessert for breakfast. I actually thought about changing to a later flight so I could get a bowl for breakfast before leaving. My only complaint is that I am a little bummed they don’t open up until 8 Monday through Sunday. 7:30 would allow for people to hit it up on their way to work. The place next door sells Acai bowls too, and they open at 6:30. Too bad their bowls don’t hold a candle.

Really like this place & prices are good! $ 7.95 for a good size smoothie. Like the gluten free dairy free options and service is great. Very friendly. Love the raw energy smoothie and I add dates to it. Yummy. The mint chip is great too!

My new favorite place to get Acai bowls. Came on a Saturday morning and luckily beat a big rush. The Blend Superfood Bar is located on the corner of Pacific Beach Dr and Mission Blvd. Street parking was available throughout the neighborhoods close by(within a block or two). The store itself is pretty small. If you eat inside there are a few bar height seats that look towards the street and a couple benches. It can get cozy when they’re busy. Walking in, there are two menus, one for smoothies and another for bowls. My original intent was to order a smoothie and try their house made almond milk, but at the last minute changed to a bowl. I ordered the Basic Bowl. It is the typical acai bowl with banana, strawberry, and apple juice blended in. It’s topped with granola, banana, and honey. They’re bowls are pretty wide, so the ratio of toppings to acai was almost even; whereas in other places I usually run out of granola or bananas or some toppings. The small bowl is pretty big. Everyone working was really friendly and gave recommendations and answered questions. I plan to come back to try their smooothies.

This place is AMAZING!!! Smoothies and acai bowls are my newest obsession and I was not disappointed! I was pleasantly greeted when I walked in after parking in their private lot(thanks to the heads up via their social media). The owner was able to help me decide what to order. And while I waited for my smoothie I inquired about their homemade almond milk and even asked if I could try it, he happily obliged my inquiry and explained the process of making it to me. It’s delicious! A touch of sweetness without being overloaded on sugar. They take great time and care into the quality of their homemade almond milk. I ordered the peanut butter and berry smoothie. Sweet and full of protein and antioxidants with fresh ingredients. Soooo good! I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try an acai bowl! #sandiegofoodgirls

Housemade Almond Milk, Ultra Premium Ingredients, Nearly Entirely Vegan Menu. If The Blend wasn’t so close to the beach and the hellacious traffic and parking, I would happily make it part of my morning routine. Ordered the Cookies & Cream ~ MOODSUPPORT + ANTIOXIDANT + ENERGY Banana, walnuts, dates, lucuma, maca, cacao nibs, coconut shreds, almond milk. My new favorite smoothie spot until the next one.

The near perfect reviews are not a mistake. The Blend makes a killer acai bowl. In fact, I went multiple times during my work trip because they were just that good. I tried both the greens bowl and the tropical bowl. While the tropical bowl was prettier and more sweet, I would argue that the greens bowl is a healthier choice between the two. Regardless, both were so filling as a breakfast choice that I was able to have a small snack for lunch and hold off until dinner. The portions and price are certainly on point for the quality of ingredients. Just a heads up though that the dine-in space is pretty limited, but the beach is right across the street and makes for a better dining venue.

While we were staying in PB, we dropped by here every morning to grab a peanut butter & berry smoothie to fuel our surfing sessions. It sort of tastes like the«facebook smoothie» offered by the former Google chef in Calafia(a restaurant in palo alto). Sort of pricey at almost $ 8, but worth it!

Seriously, I had one of the best smoothie I have from this new place in Pacific Beach. I ordered the Vanilla Almond smoothie which consisted of banana, interesting enough, mulberries, protein, almond butter, and almond milk. I added dates for the texture and flavor. The smoothie cost $ 7 and some change. For a smoothie, I was immediately surprised on how smooth it was, and being that they make their own organic almond milk in house, yes I said they make it, the flavor of the smoothie was outstanding and had that next level of richness and purity. The amount of bananas was just enough, nothing overwhelming, and the mulberries added a pleasant flavor and a touch of sweetness. Like I said, the dates were my choice and I enjoyed the little bits of texture and sweet and nutty flavor. I liked that they allowed me to add an item to my smoothies, and I liked that the two employees/owners were very knowledgeable regarding their product and its preparations. In addition to the smoothies, they offer a variety of fruit and granola bowls. If you are on a smoothie fix, definitely check these guys out.
