I couldn’t resist reviewing this location because I’ve had excellent customer service here many times. Elia(?) was so helpful and friendly. She was quick to come to the counter and had an upbeat attitude the whole time. When I came to pick up my food she didn’t just hand it to me and then leave, she made sure that I got everything that I needed, and asked if I wanted anything else like sauces, etc. Another time when I came here they forgot the curly fries in my order, so when I went up to them about it, they apologized and told me that they would make them for me. When I picked up my new fries, the lady told me that they upgraded it to a large and apologized for the inconvenience. What I’ve noticed that they started doing is that they started putting out all the sauces on a tray right where the pick up spot it. I have no problem with most of it, but I think some of the sauces, like the salsa and the buttermilk ranch, should stay in the cooler where I’m pretty sure they used to be. I figured that they needed to keep them chilled a little bit, especially the ranch, because there’s milk in it. I got the ranch from the tray that they had out, and I noticed that it tasted a little bit weird. I’m fine with them putting out all the sauces, but maybe not the ones that should probably stay in the cooler.

Wow what can I say. I have been coming to this Jack-in-the-Box for 15 years. Today I decide to stop for an afternoon snack. I took the paper off the straw rolled up into a ball and put it on the counter with intention for them to throw away for me. But instead the paper fell onto the floor. The cashier comes up and starts yelling at me «did you do this». I explained that I was sorry I meant for them to throw away. She then proceeds to yell at me «you don’t do that,. we have a trash». Wow I’ve never seen someone get so livid over a piece of paper. In fact I’ll probably never go to that location again. Probably a good thing, since I’m starting the weight loss challenge at OTF again and don’t need their food

Since this location has elected to remove the only warm, somewhat healthy item from the menu, the chicken teriyaki bowl, they have lost my business. The person who took my order implied this was a location decision. Since this is my most convenient location, Jack in the Box has lost my business.

Came to Jack In The Box with my daughter to get some ice cold lemonade which cost me $ 1.37 for just a small drink and no food. It was hot out this afternoon and we just wanted something to drink. We stayed in here to cool off and drink our iced lemonade. Very refreshing. We did not want to spoil our appetite for dinner at 4 pm. This location is clean and had more seating at this location. This is probably the biggest Jack In The Box I have seen. Just more tables and room to sit down and enjoy your meal. There is also restrooms in the back near the entrance. The women’s bathroom was clean which is a good sign. The guy at the register was nice. If I am ever in the area, I will have to stop by this location. Jack In The Box also serves breakfast all day. I love how you can get breakfast any time of day.

Came in for my late night meal after getting off work, I wasn’t expecting much just my tacos, but the manager was super polite and competent. I ordered of of the kiosk thing and he promptly came over and let me know that they no longer carried the particular burger I ordered but he was happy to replace it for something different. No hassle in and out in a few minutes. I forget his name but the manager working 12−21−14 at 11:00 deserves a raise big thumbs up!

Usually use the drive thru in the mornings before headin to work. Big fan of Jack’s coffee, don’t know why. Service is fast and friendly. Food is fresh and hot. Never went there for lunch or dinner, but breakfast never disappoints.

For the past few months I’ve been on an Oreo cookie shake binge and jbox is one of my go to places to go when it’s after midnight and I’m jonesin. For the past week I’ve come 3 different times first night it was after 3:30 am, second time it was 3 am in the dot, and tonight it was at 2:50 am. Each of those times the same girl(i can tell from her voice) tells me that the machine is closed for the night because she’s «cleaning it». Are you kidding me??? And when u asked her when she would be done and I could get one, she tells me that it won’t be running till 5 am. I am fed up with this b.s. I honestly think she is too damn lazy and don’t want to clean it again after already doind it. But come on! Isn’t jbox a bout late night meals basically catering to the stoners of the world. I never coming back to this location I will take my business elsewhere. In fact there’s a Denny’s just right across the street score!

This location is clean with a good work crew. I like the different food options. In the morning, you can find a lot of locals who gather here for a cup of coffee and hang out before going about there day.

I used to hit this Jack in the Box regularly after work. I was afraid to ask our borderline schizophrenic cook for a little snack to finish a long shift. I thought it a fair request. After all, we never had any discounts on food, nor family meals. So once I discovered that Jack in the Box could satisfy that unique late-night jalapeño popper craving, I made it a habit to make it my A-1 midnight snack spot. They’ve improved the location since I was a kid. It’s cleaner, more comfortable, friendlier, and more convenient(it now hosts an electronic order kiosk). The food quality has never really disappointed me, given that I’m ordering fast food from a chain. In fact, some items are just plain tasty. At times, I’ve had the rare drive-thru bag mixup occur. Other times, I might be missing an item. The even rarer occurrence of me returning to complain always illicit a prompt, and apologetic response and solution from management. They have even offered me free drinks and cookies as an olive branch(one I quickly and happily accept). Their drive-thru is speedy, convenient, and, perhaps most important of all, intelligible. I just wish I didn’t have to carefully inspect the contents of my bag as I pull away from the window.

This place is great. I’m vegetarian and they customized my order about three times(there was a deal with some coupons that I was trying to use) without getting annoyed at me. I’m very thankful towards them for giving me exactly what I wanted with excellent service! Like Ulysses M. mentioned, there’s a very helpful guy that works here on Wednesday afternoons. He told me about the Jumbo Jack with Cheese that you can order without any meat in it to fit any coupon deals that you may have. The sandwich was delicious. The fries were divine. And the iced coffee was cool and soothing. I’m definitely coming back for more! Thank you for the service.

I needed a quick bite, because I was on a short break from work, so I purchased a fish sandwich. The sandwich did the job, but was average at best. It didn’t taste fresh out of the fryer, but more like the fish patty was put in a warming bin. A decent fish sandwich but could have been better, but it did it’s job.

Ordered a chicken sandwich, large fries, terriaki bowl, egg rolls. Girl rings up chicken sandwich combo, terriaki bowl, egg rolls gives me a drink?. Not what I ordered, then gives me a bag with my food and no fries. Seems like they have tough time with English. Should have known better going to a fast food joint.

I usually drive through this place for breakfast but yesterday I went inside for a drink while I waited for a friend. Sitting inside the restaurant was two homeless men with a mangy dog. I told the manager«Y» that there was a dog in the restaurant and she said she didnt know and would ask them to leave. She goes over about 5 minutes later and talks to them and then comes over to me(identifying me as the tattletale) and says its a «service dog». I told her that service dogs are identified as such and have paperwork. She told me its there policy to allow animals in the restaurant if the owner just says they are a «service dog». I said thats not such a good policy and she agreed. About 5 minutes later a guy and his sister pick a fight with me for telling the manager that there was a dog in the restaurant. He comes over to me yelling, acting aggressive puffing out his chest and then the manager«Y» comes over. It’s clear to both of us that he is on some kind of drugs and when he continues his screaming/aggressive behavior I asked her to call 911. «Y» refused to call 911 and tried to ask the guy on meth to calm down. He didnt like that and his sister tried to move him away but he grabs her neck and pushes her out of the way. I kept asking her to call 911 but she wouldn’t and lacked the tools to difuse this escalating situation. Clearly a competant manager would have seen the potential liability of a crackhead hitting one of us and would have called the cops. He left after I told him I called the police. After the drama I asked the manager«Y» for her supervisors name and number because I dont think she would aprove of dogs and aggressive drug addicted teenagers in her restaurant and I wanted to let her know. «Y» said I cant give you that information. When I insisted she said I will get it for you and then disappeared for 25 minutes and when I went up to the counter and asked an employee where she was her response was«I dont know». I left without the info and called the corporate guest relations phone number. Guess what? I havent heard back from them. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. There is a Carl’s Jr next door.

Okay this is my new favorite Jack in the Box. Reason being, they’re really quick and the self-serve kiosk definitely helps. Also, there’s this one Jack in the Box crew member that goes Above and Beyond the call of duty. Not sure what his name is, but I know he’s a tall and skinny dude that always greets you with a smile and a thumbs up. Also, I’m not sure if this is commonplace for Jack in the Box, but out of all the Jack in the Boxes I’ve been to(believe me, I’ve been to plenty), this was the only one where you would get the food personally delivered to you. If anyone from Jack in the Box is reading this review, you guys need to have Jack drive up to this location right now and give the guy a medal and a raise. Maybe even a spot in a tv commercial! I’ve never known anyone to be so passionate about working a fast food job. It almost brought tears to my eyes. OhI know he worked today(Wed at 1pm) and is the only dude working the front counter. He’s hard to miss.

This is now my local Jack n the Crack and I was needing some good eats cause I was hunger! I got my usual dollar menu items from the drive thru but also added the mini funnel cake, I mean just a buck and how good could it be? Actually, it was delicious! Minus the tiring moments of leaving the crowded amusement park, this mini funnel cake was warm and sweet like my wifey. It’s just the right size so you don’t over indulge, I might add this to my regular meal from here now. What was cool was that the workers were pretty upbeat and very serviceable. I mean, I know its tough working the food industry but these employees were lively and interactive though the speaker late at night. Nice folk we got here in Rancho Bernardo.

I have eaten at this location approximately 6 – 8 times. I have only ordered hamburgers but in every case, they were prepared quickly and the quality was consistent. The counter staff were polite and friendly. The dining area has always been clean. I am sure that the counter staff are not equal in their manners at the cash register but overall this location has provided a good product, reasonable preparation time and without errors. In my opinion, it is difficult to give a solid review if you have only eaten once at any fast food restaurant. Most fast food operations have significant staff turnover and the chances of getting poor service occasionally kind of goes with the territory. On-the-other-hand, quality of food preparation is generally more consistent at fast food operations that a single cook at a restaurant. If you are dissatisfied with your selection, the real test is to return your menu choice to the counter and judge them on how they react to your request to solve your complaint. Anyhow, I eat out frequently and this Jack in the Box location has done a good job in all of my visits.

3.5… Wanted something quick and Jack was here to the rescue. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. Employees were really friendly. Ordered breakfast — sausage/cheese biscuit, hash browns and OJ($ 4). Hey, it satisfied my hunger and my tummy was happy… Thanks Jack!
