horrible. I ordered 2 different sandwiches, got 2 of the same one. ordered iced tea, not sure what I got, sure tastes a lot like coffee. c’mon folks it’s not that tough. I was there at a non-​peak time in the afternoon. went to the counter, practically got pushed out of the way so an employee could place an order for themselves. BOOO

If this is the coronado and saturn jack in the boxm blagh! They suck, the people working here are NICE, but nice dont cut it man.
Yea i usually get things off the value menu but still! Its money! Idc if the tacos are a 1.19 +tax. I still wantfresh effin tacos, not stale ones! Stop being lazy with those tacos sitting there for an hour. Didnt the owner have these people take a test online to get their food card and learn the times n hours to have fpod the way they do. Come on now, its not hard dude! I hate having to return my food and asking for fresh shit. So annoying, its convenient, n i like jack in the box but not when its stale af., and they never have paper towels in the bathroom. Smh. At least install an air dryer. Shit.

If I could give 0 I would. Seems like every time I go in the drive thur, my order is wrong (after I have to repeat my self 2 times). And one word advice. Please have someone who is fluent in English. Hard enough understanding them but they don’t understand what you say

The multitude of vehicles waiting for service through the speaker box was such a downer, I decided to park and enter for some live action. Best decision ever! I was in and out of there so fast, I may have had a recurrence of whiplash that I’m still healing from. Three (3) people were standing around waiting for their order so I immediately ordered from nice and friendly beautiful blue-​eyed Daniel. (Read his name off his name tag) I placed my order for 4 tacos to go, which is actually 2 orders of their tacos as they come in a pair per order. I added «and some hot sauce, please.» He then said that I could help myself behind me. After swiping my card and receiving my receipt, he told me «I’ll have those right out for you.» I took a step to get some napkins and hot sauce packets. When I turned towards the counter, Daniel was waiting holding up a bag trying to get my attention! Whoa! That was fast! I thanked him and happily went on my way! Wow! That’s service. The tacos were hot and freshly made so in case you were thinking they were sitting out there, they were top quality fast food tacos! Good job Daniel for the expedient service!

As a regular, I’ve realized that this joint has really improved since the start of this year. Nice, friendly staff– only about two people have been rude. I really appreciate how they don’t hesitate to do your order as you want it, whether it’s fries with no salt or a burger with extra whatever. The iced coffee is delish! They brew it just like the rest and add milk or whatever before serving. I hope they keep the improvements coming!

Went to this location because I also was near the area. I normally go to the one on 9^th and Palm Ave in IB, but I noticed the prices here were cheaper for the same combo I get at the other location. I paid $ 5.85 for a combo. The other location charges a little over $ 6.00. I got the ultimate breakfast sandwich which comes with a hash brown and drink. For my drink, I got an iced tea. I ended up going through drive thru around 6:40 am which there was not a long line.
I got to work and ate my sandwich. It consists of a fried egg, ham, sausage patty, bacon, and cheese. Yum! The bread was a sourdough bread. So good. They guy forgot to give me ketchup and napkins. They always forget that.
I have eaten and dined at this location before. Pretty clean and service is fast. It is a quick way to pick up breakfast through the drive thru. It is your typical fast food joint.

I have given this Jack in the Box many chances and every single time they have gotten at least 1 thing wrong with my order. Sometimes it was forgetting to add a food item or even finishing to make my teriyaki bowl and just putting the ingredients to finish it myself in the bag.
Many times I have seen people complain in person to this Jack in the Box so I felt sympathetic toward it and thought maybe these people were just learning but after a while it gets pretty old when they are not capable to come through with even the simplest orders.
Often times I would come with my mother and we would order food and be sitting there for a long while, I would go ask where my order was and they would ask to see my receipt and realize that they completely forgot to make it and would compensate with their poorly made 1 dollar tacos being added to my order free of charge.
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like if a place is messing up more than once a day then it’s time to work harder at having employees and managers be better at their jobs. A fast food place should be fast and able to complete orders with no hassle.
My final complaint is that management is very rude at times if you are upset about your order. I understand that it is not easy to make food or do your jobs, but if you are unhappy then go back to school or find a better place where you will be happy and stop coming off as rude and inconsiderate.

Breakfast jack, churro and coffee! That’s pretty much what I get when I do come here and sometimes the tacos. Don’t come here on the regular but in a sucker for the breakfast! The egg in the breakfast jack looks like they actually made it right then and there! Also, iced coffee is sooo delicious but it’s not freshly brewed it’s already pre packaged and they pour it straight from the carton :/​God knows what’s in that stuff. Anyway, my fast food spot to go if I go to any fast food!

This is my update to my most recent visit. Do not come here. I sure will try my best not to. People come in and ask for handouts here and they are not kicked out. The people asking will ask more than once. If you crave eating here, have it to go. I do not recommend this jack in the box. Eat elsewhere

Welllll… Lots of high school kids working here, and not a lot of fresh anything. But it HAS gotten better over the last year or so. But still not great. Want a limp taco? How about a burger made a couple of hours ago by a kid who wishes he was somewhere else? Bored-​looking, glazed-​eyed teenage employees that act like they’re on some type of punishment? You’ve come to the right place, amigo. Sometimes, you just have to eat a bunch of those 2-​for-​a-​dollar tacos from JITB, though, and this is a good go-​to.

Alexia should replace the angry manager… Alexia is the reason I gave 3 stars the manager is why I took 2 away.
Alexia was cheerful, pleasant, kind, professional and courteous. The took time to make sure our order was correct.
Manager «short Mexican lady» was rude, frowned the whole time, no greeting, not even a smile when I got my food. And then was upset that I had her fix my order the receipt clearly said 2 large drinks and 2 orders of tacos. She was loading trays and didn’t complete my order not Alexia’s fault it was HERS!

So, NOW I remember why I don’t frequent this Jack in the Box very often. It’s because their Drive-​Thru is really, really bad and has been for years. I would have used a more fitting adjective or more descriptive term, but that would have been inappropriate of me, I’m sure.
As little as I’ve been here, I would say they’ve gotten my order wrong 80% of the time. They even did so tonight, after I repeated my order twice. The cashier was a little rude too and acted as though he thought couldn’t count out change, when I was merely grabbing the coins from my other hand and couldn’t see very clearly in my car at night. He didn’t ask if I wanted any condiments either nor did he smile. Not even a fake one.
I know I shouldn’t expect much out of a fast food joint, but they’re one of the oldest and biggest fast-​food chains in the industry. They’ve been around THIS long and still haven’t learned JACK?!

Okay I’m giving this place 1 star for always being open when I’m hungry.
I’m giving this place another star for holding up the title as fast food, but I just don’t like how every time I order a burger and ask for no pickles or mayo, since I’m allergic to pickles, it has one or the other or even both. They really need to be more aware. I know I might be a little more picky for asking it off but since every place has that opinion, it should not be a big deal/​problem to do so.

I was contacted by 2 separate managers from JIB and discussed my issues, since then I have gone back and the staff is much more courteous, the order accuracy is much better also.
The cleanliness of the staff has improved also.

Horrible service! I can’t believe the cashier from the drive through window won’t accept change ($ 0.10 in coins) from my daughter. On top of that, they forgot to put the two tacos in the bag. The only other item we ordered was salad. How complicated was that? My gas consumption was more expensive going back & forth than the food we ordered.

The food at this JIB, is for the most part fine, have had issues here and there, but they have taken care of it. But the drive thru OMG The drive thru. It has to be HANDS DOWN the WORST, THE WORST drive thru of ANY JIB I have been to. I have waited at this drive thru 22 min. The problem is that they used to park too many cars. So then the manager though it would be a GREAT idea to not park cars any longer;
This made wait times go CRAZY, I dunno how many times I complied to the crew, asst manager but NOTHING! I even called JIB cust relations, numerous times. They say they are working with the store, but last time I went which was about a month ago, just cause it was the closest JIB I still waited about 13 min with 1 car in front of me.
Also to be fair, this normally ONLY happens at night at this location, Best bet go to Imperial Beach or Chula Vista JIB.

When on my way home or in the area, I need to stop by here to get my taco fix. Its something about those greasy tacos that just hits the spot. And don’t forget the curly fries! Obviously you need their hot sauce and buttermilk, otherwise the food just doesn’t taste the same.
As for the incident with Donna across the street at the back. I don’t know what to say other than RIP. She went to my high school and to think that the murders came to this place makes me want to stay away sometimes.

This place at first seems like a nice renovated Jack in the Box, but then you notice the little things…
* like they don’t keep cups next to the automated ordering kiosk — you have to ask for them.
* and that you have to signal a staff person so that you can get buzzed into one of the restrooms (btw, which don’t have baby changing stations).
I guess it is just the vicinity that dictates these things.
Food was pretty standard, although my stomach felt a bit odd later after eating a «Big Chicken Sandwich» combo. My dining companion (with the baby that needed a change) got a Sourdough Chicken Ranch sandwich.
