The gang at Heavenly Market are the sweetest folks downtown. The little market carries all the essentials(coffee, cigarettes, wide range of drinks and snacks, etc.). During the week they also have beautiful fresh ready-made fruit salads, sandwiches, and classic salad combos. If you don’t see one you like they’ll make you whatever. Cash only but there’s an ATM in there. It’s a common one-stop shop for the nearby law students like myself and Helen is always wishing us luck on our studies and hooking it up with a little candy treats when we make a lunch purchase. EXCELLENTCUSTOMERSERVICE. I have no idea what those other reviews are talking about and me and MANY other law students go here on a daily basis. Anyway, it is a perfect little place to run in and grab what you need if you’re in the area or at the law school and don’t have time to sit down and eat or wait in long lines. I recommend it 100%.

This place is dirty. They have bad customer. They are just awful. They should be shut down… she is unsanitary. She doesn’t change her gloves when making sandwiches after touching money at the cash register. She wipes her counters off with a towel and then hangs it from the trash can

Their sandwiches aren’t half bad, and decently priced. It benefits a charity and they have all kinds of stuff there. Including an AAA battery when I needed it most(during finals). So for that, and the fact that the lady manning the cash register is always pleasant to me, they get 4 stars. But I’m not a fan of the fact that they’re cash only, not that I blame them. Also, I’ve never had any problems with«economically-challenged» individuals. It IS a church serving the poor after all, people. [“Hobo help place”? Realllly?]

This is the healthiest place that’s walking distance to my work so we go kind of a lot… one year we went every day. She always makes me sandwiches custom when I ask: D The salads and sands are awes. Especially tuna cause it has a lot of mustard and veggie. MMM. I had a peppery beef salad the other day that ruled. Just beware the hobes outside… it’s next to St. Joseph’s cathedral, and attached is also an old people house and hobo help place. They’re not so bad.

Eh, not so heavenly. It’s a little spooky because you have to walk down a narrow flight of stairs to get to the market. It’s got your regular«corner market» supplies — fresh fruits and what seems to be fresh sandwiches(although I’m a little scared to try them). And your supply of junk food — chips, candy bars, sodas and energy drinks. Oh yeah, we also frequent this place because there’s an ATM machine inside.
