This place is a little gem — we stay at the WorldMark a couple blocks away every year and this is such a convenient and friendly little market/deli. Our fave healthy go to in the fresh deli is the Greek Salad, piled generously with all the delicious fixings for only $ 5.99. My daughter and I share it and we still get two meals out of it. Love the friendly people who work there and so happy to know friendly family owned places exist and compete against the retched little chain corner stores.

Great tiny liquor store. Terrific selection of everything. There were nice wines, beers, ice creams, frozen dinners, toiletries, candy bars and cigarettes. Service was super friendly. My only complaint is the overwhelming perfumey stench. It was so strong my eyes started to water.

Love supporting this little market as the owner is a stand up guy. During the citywide power outage, he let people stock up on items«on credit» if they did not have cash on them(his CC machine was obviously down due to no power). He trusted they would come back and pay for the items when they had cash. That showed a great sense of community. I only hope people went back to re-pay him. I’ve only bought beer and wine here and don’t mind paying just a little more for the convenience of not having to drive into the GasLamp.

So convenient to have a market in the building! The prices are fairly high, but you pay for convenience. The food they make in-house is very good; they have fresh, made-to-order deli sandwiches as well as pre-made ones in a lunch pack with chips and/or a side; pasta salads; potato salads; hot and cold side dishes; and huge salads. My only complaint(a mild one) is, about 6 months ago they switched to a new Italian salad dressing and it’s not nearly as good as the old one. The employees are really friendly and helpful and I greatly appreciate that they stay open ’til 9PM every day, even most holidays! If/when I move from my apartment, I think I’ll miss this market the most. :)

Great place to grab booze or a quick bite on this side of town. The guy working there is pretty cool. Could be a bit more organized but all in all it’s a nice little market.

It’s hard to find food in this area with out walking blocks. It’s a well stocked store for any good snack. They make a real good sandwich BUT only have the girl that works there make it. The owner of the store is stingy with the meat and after telling him 2 times what I want on it he still got it wrong.

This liquor store always come through in the clutch. While staying at Days Inn I could stock up on food, water, whatever you need. Even ate some of the food from the deli and it saved me from walking to McDonalds or Del Taco. Haven’t been able to try the sandwiches yet. This place also helps my fiending for scratchers. what can I say… we don’t have gambling in Hawaii.

I tried one of their deli sandwiches for the first time and it was okay. I tried their cranberry pecan chicken salad sandwich and it was a little too sweet. I think it had poppy seeds in it too but I could be mistaken. I think they used too much sugar maybe, also. But it was still pretty good. Not as good as other chicken salad sandwiches I’ve had though. Can’t speak for any of their other sandwiches because I haven’t tried them yet, but when, or if I do, I will update the review. The rest of this place is a regular mini-mart with beer, wine, liquor, and a few assorted grocery items. It is very convenient if you live at Cortez Hill.

This is just a little hole-in-the-wall bodega. For me, it is the closest liquor store. They have a decent amount of cold beer in refrigerators as well. Check it out if you’re in need of liquor on Cortez Hill
