These guys are amazing and super helpful! My mom first visited them for a bracelet she needed fixed and they did an amazing job (it was a tricky one to fix) and then I took a ring there for appraisal and they were so fair. I will totally go back for any jewelry related needs. I am very impressed with their professionalism.
P. s. They offered to clean my engagement ring free of charge while I was there :)

I walked in looking to get my band reattached to my watch, expecting to pay maybe 20 bucks. I was pleasantly surprised when the guy (wish i asked for his name, woops) instead offered to do it for free and came back out with it in less than 5 minutes.
Very fast, very friendly staff. Definitely plan on coming back soon.

It’s a very (extremely) rare experience when I take something in for service, like my car, and actually feel good about leaving it there. Such was my experience at Golden Key Jewelers with my Swiss watch. After talking with Sam, I left my 20+ year old watch with Golden Key Jewelers. This same watch had sat «dead» for 10 yrs because when I got it back from the «reputable» jeweler where I had left it before for service, it kept terrible time when I got it back. Sam at Golden Key Jewelers opened up my watch right in front of me to look at, and it was even missing a screw from the movement’s mounting. Prior to me leaving the watch at Golden Key Jewelers, I had also contacted the authorized service center for my watch in Maine, and their price was a bit higher. After talking with Sam, I felt totally comfortable leaving my watch with him. In the end, it’s about getting great service, at a great price, from people who know what they’re doing, who do the work on their premises, and stand behind their work. Thank you Golden Key Jewelers! I’ll be back!

I brought in my wedding ring because the prongs were catching on my clothes. Come to find out, I was missing 9 prongs and was at risk of losing several diamonds. At the same time, I had them check my other ring which I had inherited from my grandmother. It was missing several prongs and was at risk of losing the main centerpiece diamond so they fixed that too. They got it done in less time than I told them. Not only that, they resized my grandmother’s ring for free so I won’t be at risk of losing the ring, AND they were able to give me a verbal estimate for the value of the rings. They were extremely helpful and charming and I won’t hesitate to go back to them in the future.

Went in to change out a battery for my watch. They were very quick and great price. Came a second time to fix my sunglasses and they just did it for free! Great service and friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

I recently acquired a used Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronotimer. This particular watch’s crown has to be handled carefully to make sure water doesn’t get in the watch. This was my first experience with a Tag Heuer with this type of movement and I managed to get moisture in the watch! Not only was there moisture in the watch but the alarm function was not working. You can imagine my horror as I thought I may have just destroyed my first higher end watch.
Fortunately for me, the fine gentleman who sold me the watch is a customer of Golden Key Jewelers and he had me go visit them to see what they could do about the issue. I walked in and was greeted by Sammy (I hope I spelled his name correctly). He saw the moisture in the watch and within minutes he had the watch disassembled for a closer inspection. Mind you, this watch has a very complicated movement and without hesitation he knew exactly how to disassemble it and diagnose the issue and come up with a solution.
He explained the complex procedure he would follow to dry out the movement and bring it back to life without further damage. The digital portion of the display had already begun to fade so I was extremely nervous that he wouldn’t be able to save the watch. But you know what? Within a day and half of having the watch he expertly and precisely brought it back from the brink of death! I went to pick up my watch, and I have to say, the watch looks AMAZING! The moisture is totally gone and the alarm now works.
These guys are not amateurs, they know what they are doing. I drove 30 – 45 minutes to get to them and I will be going back to have my watches serviced in the future.

Gio is very professional and gave us the best service you can find! I didn’t have to leave my ring and he let me watch while it was being worked on. My ring looks brand new! The service here is superior than any other jeweler in San Diego.

Found GK on Unilocal.I was going to be in the Clairemont area and needed a jeweler who could remove a few links from my watch. When I arrived Sam greeted me with a warm welcoming smile. He saw me quickly, removed the links, charged me a fair price, and chatted me up about his family. Great guy, and equally great service.

Had a necklace that broke a while ago and couldnt find a trustworthy jeweler to work on it with all the diamonds included, my friend recommended this place so i visited,
The service was very friendly and professional, the guys made me see my diamond and what they call «birth marks» so i can feel more comfy.

I called for a quote on rhodium plating for my engagement and wedding rings. They gave me a reasonable estimate and promised a one-​hour turnaround time, so I ran over on my lunch break. The guy who assisted me was super-​friendly; he asked if this was my first time in the store. When I said yes, he knocked $ 10 off of the estimate. An hour later, my rings were finished and looked beautiful. Great service from a place that brought sparkle to both my jewelry and my day!

Found this place on a whim a few months back when I needed to replace a battery on my Movado watch. I walked in an was greeted by the friendly guy behind the counter. He quickly changed my battery for $ 10 and was really appreciative for the business. He also mentioned that they do restoration on watch bands and showed me a sample, and the results were amazing. I didn’t have time to do it then but I said I would be back.
Fast forward and one of the screws came out of my watch that I needed replaced. I figured I would get the watch band restoration since the band was pretty scratched up. Again, super friendly service and he fixed the screw and didn’t charge me. They also restored the watch band in about 2 hours. I thought they would send it out etc, but they do all the work in house. Pretty cool. It literally looks brand new. Great deal for $ 95.
I’ll definitely come back here for most of my jewelry/​watch needed because the service is top notch and the prices are reasonable.

Located in a semi-​busy plaza, parking may be tough to find during weekends and nights but you should find one eventually as it is a large plaza. This location is located next to Goodwill, across from Starbucks.
I had tried to take my watches to get the battery replaced at Fast-​Fix before and different locations were giving me different prices, pretty frustrating. Any-​who, I found this place on a whim and decided to give them a shot.
$ 10 battery replacements as of Oct 2015! I got all 3 of my watches battery replaced for less than the price of one at Fast-​Fix. Most watches will be $ 10 unless its one of those crazy underwater sport watches. On top of that, the gentlemen here that worked here were engaging, polite, and even offered to clean all of my watches (included in the price). I hadn’t cleaned my watches in years, it came out looking awesome.
My friend also brought in 3 watches to get her battery replaced and the deal was after the 5^th one you get half off. Unfortunately, one of my friend’s watches battery could not be replaced as the hand movement on the watch was broken so replacing the battery wouldn’t do it much justice.
Despite this little last minute notice, the gentleman still honored the discount.
Awesome service, amazing cleaning and quick battery replacement. No need to wait hours at Fast-​Fix… it only took 20 ish minutes for all 3 of my watches.
I will be telling everyone… unless the batteries stop working within the year of course… :)

I needed a battery replacement and band adjustment for two Vestal watches. I found this place on Unilocal and it was an excellent experience. Eddy was very nice and helped me immediately. I was out the door with both watches fitted and working in just a few minutes and the cost was very fair.
I only wish I knew of this place sooner, I’ve been to a couple different places for the same type of service in the past and had average to poor service. I will be telling everyone I know to come here.
Also, while I was waiting for a couple minutes I checked out their displays of jewelry which was a small but nice display. When I am looking for a necklace, ring or earnings for my wife this is the first place I’ll check.
