Brandon fixed a previous hair cut the day before my wedding! Flawless, my bride-​to-​be couldn’t have been happier! Truly the perfect fade and line up. Will definitely be back and tell my buddies!

Freshly Faded is thee place-​to-​go, if you are looking for your forever hairstylist/​barber! The ambience of the establishment is very cool and most importantly the Freshly Faded Team is very welcoming, as well.
Brandon Keaton (aka «Classic Man Barber») is the very best at the art of not only cutting hair, but also reinventing/​recreating the «New You» with a SUPER FRESH hairstyle/​cut, that will have people routinely asking you for your barber’s information.
We just relocated from Washington, DC; and we used to travel almost 2.5hrs to our last barber — to say that we were extremely concerned about finding our next stylist, is an understatement. We do not have to worry about it anymore, though — Brandon Keaton at Freshly Faded and we are a match!

Rene has done it again!!! I’ve been coming here for awhile now and always get an awesome cut. ALL the barbers are highly skilled, friendly, courteous and very welcoming. Will continue to come here again and again. Great job guys!

I get my hair cut from Rene when I can and get a lot of compliments every time. His pricing is extremely reasonable. I would highly suggest making an appointment as he is a busy/​in demand guy, not surprisingly. — as are the rest of the barbers at this #local establishment.

Nice atmosphere it was simple, clean and neat. $ 20 for a simple edge was pretty surprising though and the actual edge turned out just ok, not great. (Giving it a 3 because the prices were listed online, and it was a cool vibe)

Brandon did an ill job. Fresh cut no complaints does exactly what you ask for. Walked in no appointment and he hooked it up quickly. What I liked the most it was done in a timely manner

If you are looking for a barbershop, look no further. Freshly Faded is the place for you. 5 barbers who’s talents are phenomenal. I have been a loyal customer for 2 years, Due to their professionalism, customer service, and talented barber skills. Chris Provo is my barber of choice, but everyone is the truth with the clippers. No weak links in this shop.

Awesome barbershop. I frequently make trips to SD for work and whenever my head is in need of a fresh fade, these fellas know how to hook it up. Brandon is an expert with the clippers and blending for a proper high and tight bald fade. There isn’t any other place I’d rather go. If you’re in the neighborhood, give the fellas a visit and I’m sure they’ll treat you well.

I get my haircut here every few weeks, and I highly recommend it! I personally get mine from Leonard, who is always great and very friendly. Even better, I leave looking good and feeling good!
I originally chose it because it was close to my house, but I will definitely keep going for the foreseeable future. Derrick has really put together a good team here.
I suggest you give it a try too, especially if you’re in the North Park area!

I never thought one barber to another really made a difference, but after living across the street and getting my hair cut here for three years… I’m just so disappointed with everywhere else I go. These guys really are very talented. If you have a beard that is growing out of control and you don’t know what to do just ask one of these guys for some tips they’ll have your bread long and looking sharp as a tack in no time.
Rene always slayed my beard for me, but all the guys there do great work. I’ve heard negative comments regarding one guy leonard but i’ve never seen him in there, or his work so I don’t know, not sure he still works there.

Today was my first time at this Barber Shop. It was very convenient for me to set up appointment online with Leonard. Thank God, I think I may get my hairline back. Appreciate you bro see you soon.

Derrick, Rene and all the barbers at Freshly Faded give precision cuts, fades, tapers, mohawks, and straight razor shaves.
Anyone is welcome and when it comes to anything hair, they just plain know their stuff.
I recently moved back to San Diego and got up the bravery to try a more unique style, an «undercut».
I was a little concerned about trying both a new place AND a new style at the same time, but Derrick (the owner) nailed it. It was perfect.
At Freshly Faded, they’re not just masters with hair, the place has a super cool and chill vibe and they have cool products like T-​shirts, hats and pomade.
Tip: Book an appointment with your favorite stylist directly on their website so you can get in and out quickly.

Up until this past year, I always played it safe and went to your typical hole in the wall Asian barber/​salon for the short, basic cuts for around $ 10 (i.e. 1 or 2 on the sides and a bit of length off the top). Having the typical straight and stiff Asian hair, rarely did I ever try to find someone I could trust for fancier styles only to no avail.
Hence, I did my research before coming here, and Rene did not disappoint. The brief description about himself on the website gave me confidence to try out this place, and I really liked that you could choose and book your barber online with the pricing clearly available. Rene and everyone else in the shop provides a very chill and friendly environment from my experience, and never once did I feel vibed out like some people may at other places.

Me and my 3 year old son went to this place knowing that they do cut kids hair too. Saw on Unilocal pics of kids so I decided to check this place. As soon as we came in there were bunch of people like never seen asians before. Barbers staring at us like we were coming from another dimension. One of the barber looked at my child and said «we don’t cut hair for girls!’» I took a deep breath and said «he’s a boy!» We are costumers and we were supposed to be treated equally and nicely. We left the place disappointed. I will never recommend this place.

Chris has been my barber for about 4 years now, and I won’t let anyone else touch my
Hair. In fact i make the drive from south county where he previously worked at to north park because I don’t want anyone else. That should speak volumes.

Can’t wait to make an appointment with Rene this weekend. Haven’t been in San Diego for a year and that was the last time I had a great clean, relaxing haircut and shave. The music, the shirts n hats (Nutty P) everything is this place reminds me of where I live now, Oakland, but with that SoCal North Park gig to it.

The people here can Fade. I found this place trying on Unilocal reading the reviews and it has not failed me yet. Derek the owner and barber is just a great person. He cares not only how you look but also supports his community. So while you are there getting a fade, pick up a fresh T-​shirt designed by Derek.
