Great barber with short wait times. I travel all the way from 29palms to get my haircut here. They do multi cultural hair styles, which is awesome.

Boys’ haircuts are getting more and more complicated. Time was, you could just give a number corresponding to a razor size and you got a buzz cut of a certain length. But now, the elementary school set is more discriminating, more demanding of its hair professionals. Now kids want all sorts of complication in their coiffures: stripes, designs, mini-​mohawks.
So yesterday, I brought my three kids here after school. They wanted something out of the ordinary. There was no wait and the owner, Alfonso quickly went to work. The guy’s an artist. He made some great suggestions and soon my shaggy haired children were kempt, sleek and chic. He even indulged my request to take the shorn hair home so I could compost it. (I heard hair is great for gardens!) The cost: $ 10 a head. Easy on the wallet, so we were able to go to the Colombian restaurant next door for empanadas.
