I came in Thursday and was having a terrible day until I got in. I met this very nice young lady her name was Gaby she was super sweet & super helpful and I had never been here previously so I had asked what was good. She told me the buffalo chicken bacon tostini was really good so I got it and I wasn’t disappointed. Will definitely be coming back here.

I didn’t know they had a Einstein Bagel in terminal 1. must be passed the gate. I go to the one in terminal 2 for my lunch break. I’m not sure how much Einstein Bagels are outside of the airport but like other stores in the airport… definitely overpriced. Especially for a bagel. But when you don’t bring lunch your really out of options haha. I usually get the same thing… a pizza bagel or the turkey, bacon, and avocado which are pretty good. I get it as a combo(drink and chips). If I’m gonna spend hella money on a bagel, i might as well spend the extra bucks on a drink and chips. Service is always good… very friendly and efficient.

I have to agree with other reviewers. Although I like the burgers at the Counter in terminal one, this is by far the most friendly and efficient place to grab customized food to go. I like their bagel sandwiches a lot. I also appreciate that they have bagel thins do you can rest fewer calories but still feel like you’re not eating a sliced bread sandwich. My only«complaint» is that they only have three varieties of tea, but Asian the archive is fast and the food is decent for an airport. Good job guys!

Went here earlier this week as I was catching a flight back home. Ordered coffee and a couple of bagels(as is, not toasted or sliced). Went back to the terminal(Southwest) to eat and the Cinnamon Sugar bagel was slightly sliced and hard as a rock. The other bagel, a Cinnamon Raisin, was just okay(but still not that fresh). I returned back to the counter to exchange the Cinnamon Sugar bagel for a fresh one, and was given a weird look. The lady said something like, «It feels okay to me, but I’ll see if I have a softer one. We don’t really have anything that fresh.» She said all the other Cinnamon Sugar bagels felt like the one I turned it, so I just exchanged for another, somewhat fresh one. That was so ridiculous… you are paying higher prices and you don’t even get fresh food…

The terminal one bagel shop was absolutely the worst bagel I have ever had. I have enjoyed Einstein’s bagels in the past when I have visited San Diego but these ended up in trash. Tasted like cardboard and seemed a few days old.

I’ve been here a few times and the service is always great. The employees have a smiles on their faces and the meal is prepared fresh and quickly. The turkey, bacon & avocado is scrumptious. It’s one of my favorite meals to order along with a bag of chips. I tried the Miss Vickie’s Jalapeño chips and they were pretty good. Just the right amount of spicy. I also tried the white hot chocolate not too long ago. That was very good too, especially on these cold winter months. The Santa Fe burritos was not bad either. Enjoy!

This place is terrible. Either skip coffee, deal with the caffeine withdrawal or else go to the only other coffee joint in this terminal. The service is terrible — employees seem very unhappy and uninterested in their work.

Review for location inside terminal 1 for you southwest passengers. Great job on xmas eve. They were taking orders in line and passing back to the counter staff. Made for a quick turn a round. The egg white asparagus and mushroom thin bagel was surprisingly tasty. I am a fan. Note to management: Your staff should not use the limited seating during their break.

I love Einstein bagels but this location was disgusting. I had a simple order, bagel cream cheese and cucumber. They forgot the cucumber and ignored me for a long time as I tried to ask for some. At one point I was handed an ice coffee, I guess to solve why I was standing there, but when I proceeded to tell her what I needed she took off instead. When I finally got my order fixed i took a bite and realized the bagel wasn’t toasted and there was less than a teaspoon of cream cheese on it. All I could taste was a soggy bagel from the cucumber water that must have gotten on it. When is this terminal gonna get some decent food options…

Fresh and tasty. Expected jacked up price as it is inside airport past security(captive and hungy audience). Did not expect them to be so chintzy with the lox. Giant photo of lox & bagel on the overhead menu with 2 inch gap between bagel halves. Was served a microscopic slice of lox that didn’t reach to the edge. Very dissapointed and still hungry!

Finally something to eat upstairs in Terminal 1, San Diego airport. Under construction for so long it was eat before you get to the airport or starve. I had an everything bagel egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich. It was fresh and flavorful. What amazed me was the line was soooo long I figured it would go beyond my level of patience. The staff was unbelievable. Quickly took my order with a smile and efficiency.
