Came back to eat the chili relleno and it was off the menu. So sad! Was the only reason we came back.

Great location on Mission Bay. We stopped here for some apps and drinks. The Brussels and fried cauliflower are delish! If you have a sweet tooth you must try the s’mores skillet. It was so good and they make it from scratch as soon as you order it! The space in the restaurant is great as your not in top of each other when eating. They have a bar in the back of the place that has a great beer selection.

I had the draft burger and my wife had the tuna sandwich(can’t remember what it was actually called) she ordered no bread and so it came like a salad which she really loved. The burger was amazingly juicy and the fries are great. So many beers to choose from I had the New English Dragoon. I remember the location from several years back as Canes with live music. I’m glad this is what took over the location. Excellent location on the beach. It is a must try for people visiting Beautiful San Diego. Just one thing I didn’t like and it’s no fault of drafts is the construction on the boardwalk. But still I WILLCOMEAGAIN!!!

Got the fried tilapia. The fillet was huge, and the coleslaw on top was very flavorful. Ate every bite.

Cool spot on the beach for food, drinks, football and beach/people watching. Located right on the boardwalk next to WaveHouse on the corner. The inside of Draft is huge and they have one of the largest high def TV’s that I have ever seen outside of a movie theatre. It’s amazing. It feels like you’re in the game when you’re in the dining room watching sports. Cool layout as well. You walk into seating on both sides of the restaurant, a bar up a few steps and a cool outdoor patio section on the boardwalk where it’s always entertaining to people watch. It’s a tad bit annoying as of now due to the new flood wall going up on the boardwalk, which is seemingly taking longer than I could ever have imagined, but that’s not the fault of Draft. When that is done it will be perfect outside to catch a glimpse of the ocean as well as the people. The food has always been stellar. It’s definitely not the most sizable menu in the world but they have your basic go-to’s, hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, etc. And the food has been great every time. We’ve had the hot dog, hamburgers, fries, etc and it’s always fresh and good. The service has always been amazing, which is hard to find sometimes at some of these places in MB and PB. Definitely a go-to spot in Mission Beach.

I am pretty surprised at the star rating for this place. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I have been here countless times and was there last night to watch football and have a good time. Me and my boyfriend came around 5 o’clock and had about a 40 minute wait. We waited and then luckily in 10 minutes bar stools opened up. So we sat there enjoyed cocktails and amazing food. Must order either the seared ahi salad or bison burger. So delicious. Also the crispy chicken or calamari apps are great starts as well. When they have the crispy chicken on the menu you need to order it! Bar staff are always friendly! The only thing is you can get a huge bill cause everything is so good. Beware hahahha

Cool atmosphere with a wide selection of beer and good service. Lobster Mac n cheese was just ok. Wife got the draft burger which was very good and cooked correctly. Overall, menu isn’t huge but the big screen tea and beer make it a cool place to grab a bite and hang out.

Came here with my daughter for lunch. She got a burger and salad. She liked the burger, salad was nice. I wanted wings and a side salad. Man they were some great wings. Hot enough to make you notice and cooked right. Definitely will go back. Beer prices were reasonable as well. Waitress was attentive and quick.

Watched as 3 seats sat«reserved» while some guys buddies were out smoking for 10 minutes. Lost legitimate sales from patrons who actually wanted to sit and buy drinks. Not impressed. Update: I keep giving this place more chances and as much as I love the food and atmosphere, their service still manages to continually piss me off. Wait for drinks is crazy long and for the $ 25 we paid for the New Years event, at least boast something other than Miller High Life to toast the new year… You are a draft house for crying out loud…

I came here with my friend for lunch a couple of months back in the summer during the Ohio State game we just stumbled upon the place. I remember that there was no AC so it was hella hot and we sat by a window and so many flies were eating our food. Only come here in the summer if you don’t mind being attacked by flies and sweating to death.

I’ve been here twice for brunch over the last two weeks. Each time has been great and all the food has been awesome. We are especially fans of the mimosas(passionfruit, peach and strawberry). The service is always attentive and on point. So, we have been pooped on by pigeons each time that we visited Draft as we like sitting outside underneath the rafters and heaters. However, this never seems to dampen our experience. My friend got very pooped on this trip and was given a new mimosa. We moved to a table in the sun away from the rafters and ate our newly arrived food with no further issues. I think our food choices were even better this time. 1. Passionfruit, peach & strawberry mimosas– my personal favorite is passionfruit, hers is peach. 2. Bacon and Swiss Omelet with wheat toast on the side(+ $ 3) — so delicious and served with house potatoes. This is my favorite item on the menu. 3. The Basic — comes with wheat toast, bacon and 2 eggs any style. This was also a hit. 4. Chicken Mole Hash(previous visit) — so much food with lots of spice and flavor. This is less of your usual and basic breakfast food. But good. 5. Chilaquiles(previous visit) — my friend got this dish and was pleased with it. Also a ton of food and helps with a hangover and any Mexican food craving. The hostess here on Sunday morning was phenomenal and went the extra mile for me. I will not forget her kindness. I highly recommend sitting outside on the patio. It is a nice experience regardless of the huge sand dune which has been built while they expand the boardwalk. The manager came out following the poop incident and checked to make sure we were doing ok. Draft is a great place for weekend brunch especially when football is going on. All the men will be seated inside with the game playing on the big screen. We often have the patio all to ourselves.

Pretty cool spot not too far from the boardwalk. Everyone is super friendly and attentive imo. I came here on a Friday night with a friend just to get out of the house and from the security to the staff I already knew it was going to be a relaxed spot. I ordered two drinks off of the menu and the bartenders were more than happy to make them(and they were made to perfection). I wasn’t as hungry so I just ordered French fries but oddly enough I finished the whole thing, lol(which meant they were really good). They have plenty of tv screens(aside from the two jumbo screens) where I was able to catch a few games. I would definitely come here again.

Greatttt for craft beer lovers! And I love that most of their beers are from SD. Not only are they proud of the SD breweries, but they showcase them. This place is awesome for watching sports. I can’t say how much I was in awe with the giant wall size digital display. You could see it from the parking lot and it is one of the reasons why I was attracted to it. This is sports bar done right. In general, $ 4 for 9oz drafts(Which I took advantage of and tried 3 different ones). $ 6 for 12oz i believe, and on… Needless to say, full beer bottles(domestic and imported) and a full bar available. Beer price is average in my opinion and the selection a headache(in a good way). A basket of garlic fries for the munchies $ 4(not in the menu but you can always ask) The service was on point, not absent, not overly present. Everyone was very polite, I appreciate that they ask before they remove your empty cup. The go to place for drinking and kicking it back with a bunch of friends. Excellent.

Draft is a great sports bar located on the sands of Mission Beach in San Diego, California. If nothing else, Draft’s location is legendary. Literally on top of Mission Beach Draft boasts no less than 20 Craft Brews on draft along with countless bottles of Lager, Stout and IPA. The bartenders are quick witted and no-nonsense when it comes to getting an ice cold brew in front of you. I visited with a large group during a team building exercise and the service was strong throughout the visit. The menu on the other hand was pretty cliché and offered no inspiration. All of the pub grub regular fare is available and everything I sampled was ho-hum if not altogether tired. I would treat this as a watering hole on my next visit. Cold beer, great service and blasé eats sums up Draft in this Unilocaler’s opinion.

This place has several good things going for it. They have a long list of craft beers being brewed, some great food, great service, and to top it all off, a great view of the Pacific Ocean. brought a client here for lunch well except for today they are rebuilding the beach wall and you cant see the ocean for the moment. We all had the local albacore club $ 14 nice chunky tuna salad, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon, herb aioli it was very good, needed a bit of celery salt for my taste. The beer selection here is awesome however sadly, we didn’t get to have any since it was work lunch. definitely will come back again just fo r the beer! they also had the largest TV I have seen outside of a ball park.

I brought my sisters here while they were visiting, as I wanted to eat somewhere with a view of the water. Well, when we arrived, we were slightly disappointed(as were the Draft staff) to have the view covered with construction gating while they are working on the boardwalk. Disappointed but were okay on sitting inside, the place is really cool! We ordered the Mustard Pretzels, Brussel sprouts and Potato Wedges — OMG, this was SOOO good! Mustard Pretzels — A — soft and buttery, bite-sized carb goodness Brussel Sprouts — A — I do not traditionally like brussel sprouts — neither do my sisters, but we ate these up! They loved them! Potato Wedges — A — covered with chicken, cheese, and pickled onions — so yummy! I will absolutely be back!

Located in Belmont Park in Mission Beach, Draft is an awesome place for happy hour. As expected, the craft beer list is extensive and you can get everything San Diego is brewing plus plenty other American breweries. While there I ordered 21st Amendment Watermelon Wheat beer and it was amazing! I was also happy to see Duck Foot Brewery on the menu for those who can’t drink beer because they are gluten intolerant. This place is good for groups, and anyone wanting to watch a football game. The TVs are labeled with the game it will be showing, so make sure to grab a seat across from the game you want to see. Although this is an Ohio State bar, there are plenty of other teams to watch here too. I expect there is normally a pretty ocean view, but when we visited there was construction going on so we took a walk along the boardwalk in order to take in the sunset. The food here is perfect for sharing with a group of friends. The pretzel bites with honey mustard are amazing! The flatbreads are huge, and the wings are pretty spicy. There is something for everyone and we shared a few different appetizers amongst our group of 6. Our waitress was still in training but she was so helpful and polite. However, it also took a while to get her attention to order and one of our orders was forgotten about. Overall, we had a lot of fun and laughs and the atmosphere at Draft helped foster that.

What a great place to grab a bite and still enjoy the view of the beach. My first time here along with my company from Ohio. I was amazed how huge this place was inside. The very cool thing was the front of the restaurant had the feature to open up so you had the fresh, beach breeze coming through and you could people watch too. There is plenty of seating, a raised bar area and seating upstairs. The spacing of the tables is great, no bumping chairs. Our appetizer, the Pretzel Bites with honey mustard. The pretzels were little, buttery, heavenly, squares, perfect for one biters. I would definitely order these again. My platter was great. I had ordered the SD Dog with fries. I’m not used to having the fancy breads for a hot dog. But it was good and good for the size of the hotdog. This hot dog was topped with grilled onions and red and green bell peppers. The fries were perfect, perfect crunch and perfectly salted. No dessert this round, too full. I would really like to come back and try some of the 75 beers they have listed, but also some of the other dishes on the menu. For sure I would start with the yummy Pretzel Bites!

After you’ve drafted your way down the boardwalk or through the amusement park you find your way to Draft for a cold brew! The beer selection here is awesome lots of tasty craft beers including many local SD brewers of pure beer goodness! We came in and found ourselves in the middle of their happy hour with drinks around $ 5 and a little bit more for the larger sizes. Some of the food items were discounted as well so if your in the area stop by Monday through Friday 4 – 6! We didn’t order any food but it did look quite appetizing I know we will be back here at one point as it’s a great location on the beach. They have a few pool tables and shuffle board as well for those who want to partake in some recreational drinking activities of enjoyment! The patio here is right on the boardwalk giving you al killer view of the beach and all those who walk by. One thing that was kinda strange about this place is my cell phone had no service the entire time I was inside so if you have AT&T it might happen to you as well so plan accordingly. So pretty much what it comes down to is a lot of good beer and some delicious looking food on the beach next to an amusement park and a huge artificial wave. The whole area around Draft is quite fun so I know we will be back here again at one point because San Diego adventures are always a good time with summer coming soon! Who am I kidding summer is already here! Help out in California’s drought save water and drink more beer!

DER Spot fürs Frühstück direkt am Meer! An Spieltagen ist die Bude knackvoll — liegt vielleicht auch an dem Fernseher mit 6m(!) Breite.
