It wasn’t good. Poorly made food for way too much. I liked where it was located and the staff was really nice but it just wasn’t that good. I think I spent $ 15 last time on a drink and a sandwich. Just not worth it.

The café type restaurant is inside The Rock Church. I have been attending the Rock Church even before DLush opened and the café they had previously was much more affordable. For an «ok» sized breakfast burrito, cookie, fruit cup, and two drinks you can easily spend $ 20. Before DLush you can get a family meal for $ 10 because some items would be self serve. The drinks on the other hand is hit and miss depending on who’s working behind the bar. Some of the people that work behind the bar are volunteers that are fundraising for their ministry(I think 5 or 10% go to their ministry). Today I ordered a green tea lemonade and it was definitely pucker-ish tart. I had to go back and ask for them to add both water and sweetener. Also on the opposite side of the DLush counter is a seating area where there is a large TV so you can watch and try to listen into the message in the sanctuary. For those who have infants that are not in Sunday school this is very helpful. I wish that DLush would not blend a drink or participate in loud conversations across the room being mindful that some people that are there in the café seating area watching the service and are there with the intent to be spiritually fed and listen to the sermon. The café is in fact in a church regardless of the fact that it is a business. I’m giving it it two stars because it’s convenient to get coffee and a snack before and/or after the service.

I had the pulled pork sandwich during my last visit. It had a nice and smoky flavor. It was served with a Brussel Sprouts coleslaw. I usually am not a big fan of coleslaw, but this tasted so fresh. I rather go here to Phil’s BBQ and wait for an hour in line!

My family and I have been attending Rock Church for awhile now but I just decided to stop in and check out D’Lush Lounge this past Sunday. I was so impressed! The décor and atmosphere were super nice and the drink selection amazing. I was so excited to see thai iced tea on their menu. It was delicious! I requested mine without boba, but it normally comes with it. Maybe next time I’ll be brave enough to try it. They also had a buffet line with sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and carne asada nachos(whish were YUMMY!). I think this may be our after church lunch/drink stop from now on.

Love to come here after service to see what they have. Sometimes I’ll just browse and other times I’ll buy a drink and snack! Great and friendly service! Today I got free Thai tea with boba. It was watered down but still great. It was sitting on the featured drink table. I guess after it has been sitting out for awhile, they give it out. Love it here!

I’m branching out & trying more, and loving every sip & every bite! Most recent try: Open Face PB&J. Holly Cow it was incredible!!! From my walk through the bookstore, the lobby, up the elevator and into the offices I received multiple«wow that looks good» comments and told every one of them how amazing it was. It’s going to be so hard not to go grab one every afternoon! Here’s to trying more!

I miss the D’Lush so much that was once right across from the AMC Fashion Valley Theaters. I would always try the great samples they would run around with – trying to entice people into their joint to order an over-priced smoothie. But good news awaits those who are in the Liberty Station and Point Loma areas. D’Lush Lounge is now open inside the Rock Church. Each Sunday, get a taste of their dynamic drinks in the Lobby, as well as their yummy food menu in the overflow cafeteria. D’lush, the Rockpile Bookstore, and Rock ministries partnered together to open the D’lush Lounge. Comfort-food inspired, the Dlush Lounge menu features some great price-friendly gourmet sandwiches with a twist; homemade desserts, and a line-up of playful drink concoctions called«joy drinks.» Also a cool thing: a portion of every purchase made in the D’lush Lounge will go towards Rock Church ministries. The D’lush Lounge uses as some of their employees, volunteers from the Rock Church. What’s nice about the D’Lush Lounge is that it brings in a cool place for people to hang and enjoy good, healthy food. The prices are not as bad as I imagined and DL offers a business bridge to fellowship and help build good community relations. Having professional vendors on site is a good business practice, and now that I can grab a smoothie after church makes me miss the Fashion Valley D’Lush a little bit less every Sunday.
