I only have great things to say about this company! We just had our HUGE 100+ ft Norfolk Pine trimmed by them and they did an awesome job. Earl is the owner and he’s a certified Arborist, so he’s very experienced and knows what he’s doing. He has been extremely helpful to us! We are in escrow with our house right now and it didn’t pass inspections due to the pine tree’s branches. The inspector questioned the structural safety of the limbs that over hung our house. I called Earl and told him about the issue and he wrote a letter explaining that the tree is healthy and doesn’t present any safety issues since he trimmed it. HUGE help to us since this was a major holdup in the whole escrow process! Plus, we keep getting compliments on what a great trim job he did. The tree looks gorgeous!

I had a giant pine tree stump cut and grinded away (roots too!). Workers started the job on time (even arrived early to set up the stump grinder and put plywood covers to protect my window from rocks/​wood chips). We had a huge pine tree cut down last year and left the stump in the ground after a cost/​benefit analysis. Naturally, our plans for the backyard changed, so we wanted to remove the stump. Found Earl Keene’s company thru Unilocal!and got an estimate. His price was competitive. After reviewing the job with him, I knew he was a professional who made safety a priority and did business in a straightforward manner. He ground the stump totally out and removed the massive roots within my planned planter area. He did a little more than our initial agreement and didn’t leave until I was happy with the job. No problems. Won’t hesitate to call him first when we clean up the Torrey pine!

Earl and crew completed a difficult tree and stump removal without a hitch. Ficus tree was 35 years old overhanging the house within a cement planter. Earl’s heavy duty equipment and hard working crew made quick work of the very large tree. He even planted the replacement tree (24 inch box) for no extra cost. We just moved into a new home where the previous owner completely ignored the yard. A large eucalyptus tree had grown up right on the side of the house, over the roof, and over the incoming power lines. Because of the proximity to the house and power lines (as well as the tendency of eucalyptus to drop limbs), we decided to remove the tree. We got three bids, and Cutting Edge Tree Service not only came in with the best bid, but Earl said our tree was an «easy day» compared to some of the jobs he’s been on. His level of confidence and experience was one of the primary reasons we went with him. Earl himself was on site for the whole removal, and his team fully cleaned up after the job, reducing our cleanup to small twigs and a few wayward wood chips. They also did an amazing job maneuvering their equipment on our sloped lot and driveway, and overall demonstrated great competence and confidence in the work. Lastly, his bid was spot on and they completed the job in a single day as promised.
