Mitch and another employee responded to my mother’s call. She had a problem with her toilet — it wasn’t filling and flushing properly. They advised her that the flapper was not working and needed to be replaced. This, they advised, would be $ 149 to replace. However, to truly fix the problem, the entire inner workings needed to be replaced. This would cost $ 408 less a senior discount do $ 50 for a total of $ 358. My mother often questioned the price but ultimately agree as the work needed to be done quickly. A cursory check of the parts needed to replace all of the inner workings is, at best, $ 30.
I called Mitch to question his bill. I asked why it cost over $ 300 to spend 30 minutes to install a $ 30 part irrespective of the senior discount. I suggested she could have had a new toilet installed for less. His response «not from my company». Upon further discussion, Mitch said he had a company to run, insurance to pay for, they don’t send guys with tattoos, they use blankets to keep things clean and put on booties when coming into a house. All of this is an expense of doing business they pass on to the customer.
When I told him that, in the LA market (where I live) there are many companies that would have done the job for $ 135-​ish, he said that a one guy company could do this but he could not.
My mother is 91. Mitch answered his own phone.

Today I had Mitch and Justin from Colepepper come out to install a new garbage disposal in my kitchen sink. They arrived on time and actually called me 30 min in advance to tell me they were on their way. (Allowing me to finish things around the house). When they arrived they put on shoe covers and gave me a price to install my disposal along with options to change my piping underneath the sink and to my surprise the shut offs were stuck in the on position so they offered to fix that too. (For the quality of parts and genuine people I can trust price definitely wasn’t an issue here.) I agreed to go with the disposal and the shutoffs. They soon started their job and rolled out red carpet to ensure they didn’t dirty or scratch my floor. Throughout the job they explained what they were doing but were in no way invasive which is great. When they were done with their work they showed me the invoice and the «Colepepper Orange Folder» which was packed full of additional information and coupons. After the 2 hours they were there I was left with good service, a new disposal, shut offs, and a kept clean house! Very trusted and left very satisfied!

I had inoperable garbage disposal and resultant clogged sink. I call Colepepper Plumbing and Mitch and his partner were accessible, punctual, and very professional. Second time I had to call them for a repair, they were at the premise in an hour. Their service was excellent and I strongly recommend Colepepper Plumbing.

I had a yard drain that was clogged, causing my yard to flood during our recent torrential downpour. Colepepper can out within 2 hours of my call and cleaned out my drain. I wish I could give separate ratings for service and pricing, because their service was excellent. Pricing, however bordered on ridiculous. $ 538 for snaking my yard drain. Took all f 1.5 hours. If it hadn’t been an emergency (more rain on the way) I would have balked at the estimate. Drain is now clear! Service /​staff 5 stars, pricing 1 star, they get a 3.

Thanksgiving weekend with relatives and of course the water heater fails. Mitch was out within an hour on Saturday. He spoke with my insurance company and we got approved. Mitch had all the parts in his truck, replaced the water heater and performed the code upgrades in record time for the Saturday evening showers.

I had an emergency leak that flooded my kitchen and master bedroom, I called Colepepper they came right away, could not find the leak. The leak was found the next day, the drywall was already cut, pipe was exposed. Colepepper replaced the section and charged me $ 440. They also quoted me $ 900 to replace my regulator, I did it myself in 20 minutes and for only $ 83. They also quoted me over $ 19,000, to replumb my house, other quotes were $ 6,000 -$ 7,000. This company is way over priced and I feel taking advantage of situation. Beware!

I highly recommend Colepepper Plumbing. I had a water heater that was leaking and was in need of immediate attention. I called Mitch from Colepepper and he was at my house within hours. He gave me options to choose from and a extremely fair price. I was recently scammed by another plumbing company, so I was hesitant, but Mitch broke down the costs, my options, and he helped me out when it was extra work. He and his assistant Justin were very clean, efficient, professional and explained to me what they were doing so I was informed. I will definitely use Colepepper Plumbing again!

I have had Mitch from Colepepper Plumbing come to my residence for 2 different problems. Each time, he was on time, professional, clean, smart, & handled problem in a timely manner. He gave me different options to choose from on how I preferred problem to be fixed. I would recommend him for sure!!!

I bought a Groupon for Colepepper Plumbing, and used it to fix a bathtub that was slow to drain & to re-​caulk the tub. Mitch answered his phone promptly when called, and was easy to set up an appointment with. He showed up right on time, wore shoe covers when inside my home (we don’t wear shoes in our house, so for this I was thankful!), was quick & knowledgeable. He was pleasant, thorough, and left my home without evidence that work had been done. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because he seemed a little pricey, however, guarantees his work, so I’m looking at the extra cost as sort of an «insurance» for a job well done.

Highly recommend it. Mitch installed two bathroom sinks and fixed my kitchen sink’s piping. The work was done fast and it was done right the first time around (no unexpected leaks). Also, he charges a very reasonable price. This guy is a true professional!!!
