I love Chico’s because I’m a size 1 here. Yay! The clothes are all 40% off today, and the friendly staff helped me to shop for my upcoming trip to Paris. I love the fabrics and styles. Most items are machine washable as well. Chico’s in fashion valley has more selection than the smaller one in UTC. The items I’ve bought at Chico’s on previous visits have lasted well through the laundry. The seams are well sewed. Chico’s has some Bermuda shorts with pockets that hold my cell phone and prevent it from falling out. This is excellent.(-;

The ladies in this store were so nice. I have never been in a Chico’s before and I’m going on a trip and need to do some public speaking on this trip, and because my clothes usually consist of shorts and T-shirts I’m overwhelmed by department stores. Barbara put together a bunch of outfits for me. I bought one and will probably be back for more. I wasn’t sure if Chico’s was an older person’s store, but it’s not. I mean, it’s not super trendy, but they have a lot of basics like pants and tank tops and cardigans in various patterns. I also like how their sizing works. It’s probably psychological. A 0 is a 4 – 6 and a 1 is an 8 – 10 and so forth. Anyway, the sizing worked well for me, because usually I wear a variety of sizes in the same store and even brand, but these are pretty uniform.

Just to let everyone know, when this woman hit my car in the mall parking lot, she ran into Chico’s and even though mall security was waiting outside their front door they let the person out the back door. So now I have to pay for the repairs. When I called their district office they said they were right in what they did. However that’s not how SD Police Dept see’s it. They were wrong and they know it. I wonder how they treat others!
