I’ve eaten here while incredibly drunk and hungry multiple times. It’s really cheap pizza in a convenient spot for drunks at Beachcomber and the Pennant. I don’t think any person would ever come here because they like the pizza. Tastes like an old frozen pizza you would find at your grandparents house. +1 star for being there +1 star for trying

One plus is they sell cigarettes if that’s your thing. Otherwise the pizza is meh and the customer service is awful. The business has been for sale but no one wants to buy it cuz it sucks so bad.

It is pretty rare for me to review a restaurant and provide only one star. But this pizza and pasta restaurant was absolutely terrible. I placed a delivery order over the phone and the person on the other end was rude and impatient, even though I expressed I was a first time customer. I was quoted a delivery time of 30 minutes, the pizza arrived over an hour later. I was charged more than what I was quoted for a delivery fee and the pizza itself, even though I had a coupon. The pizza itself was awful. The vegetarian was so topping heavily with such a thin crust, the pizza was breaking through the cardboard box they dropped it off in. Not only that, but it wasn’t good. Not at all. I would never order from Capri again, even if it is the only place open at 11pm in my area.

I hate to write a bad review and never write reviews to begin with. But my pizza was so off the mark, I was really disappointed. I got a large pizza and was unfortunately very disappointed by the lack of flavor. I have had pizza from many places all over the country, with the two best being Pizza Port in CA, and a neighborhood pizza shop in Brooklyn NY. Pizza, in my opinion, is supposed to be rich and full of flavor, the sauce a tiny bit sweet, and overall fairly salty. If you use good dough, ideally made from non processed flour, a decent sauce that has it’s own flavor fullness, and a decent quality mozzerella, you should be well on your way to a decent pizza when combining these in the right ratios. Something is missing from their recipe here. There was not enough sauce on the pizza, and I could tell when I got a bite that did have enough sauce to taste, that it is bitter and almost completely flavorless. The dough had even less flavor, and even tasted slightly off, like it may have been moldy or something. And the cheese and toppings were almost flavorless too. At first I thought it was just me, but then I had some the next day and thought it was even worse. I put a bunch of garlic salt, tapatio, and parmesan on it just to make it edible. It was so bland! In case they are reading this, flavor comes from using non-processed ingredients. If you get some whole wheat flour, make some fresh sauce with organic tomatos, get some non gmo cheese, and some fresh organic veggies for toppings, the result will be bursting with flavor and nutrition… a delicious pizza, even if the ratios are a little off. Then you refine the ratios, and have a recipe for a truly good pizza. I could have gotten an extremely delicious, high quality ingredient pizza from Pizza Port for slightly less money, but gave them a shot because they are close to where I live in MB. I hate to say it, but I won’t make that mistake again. Pizza Port has been my go to in SoCal, and will remain that way. It’s one of the best pizza places in the entire country. The pizza I had from Capri was not even as good as the cheap slices in Manhattan. If you’re looking for a really good pizza while vacationing in MB, or just moved here, make the trip across the inlet to the bay, to Pizza Port Ocean Beach. It’ s only a couple minutes drive, and so worth it. You’ll see what I mean when you see how packed the place always is and how good your pizza is. Every single pizza I have gotten from Pizza Port has been exceptional.

Stayed in Mission Beach for a week and decided to check this place out. Walked in to order a pizza to go and it was about 90 degrees inside. Went to go order pizza and was told it would be 25 minutes before they could even start to make the pizza even though the place was basically empty. We ordered two pizzas anyway. 45 minutes later I asked about the pizza and a guy said it was coming right up. Turns out it had been sitting on top of the oven already done for over 15 minutes. Ridiculous. On top of all that the pizza was mediocre at best. Tasted pretty much like one you would take out of your freezer and bake. No wait those are better.

Ordered pepperoni pizza by the slice and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Salty, greasy, with a tough cracker like crust. Grocery store frozen pizza is light years ahead of this. No exaggeration, it was truly no good. Our half eaten slices went in the trash.

I would try another pizza place before going back. Two mediums were $ 40 and they looked like smalls. Crust was soggy in the center.

Came in and ordered a slice of pizza and it was huge! They definitely hook you up here and are very friendly! The pizza was really good and I will definitely be back!

I adore this Mission Beach restaurant. The pizza is exquisite even if you come a little bit late(when you leave the bars next door). This is a family business and every night I come here, I am impressed by the quality of the pizza and the prompt, efficient service at this restaurant even when there is a crowd of USD students. Capri is a Mission Beach gem and definitely a favorite place to go to late night after leaving the Comber or the Pennant! My recommendations include the Clam & Garlic Pizza, Pesto Pizza, and Breadsticks(always even better with a side of ranch)!

I can’t attest to thier pizza, I won’t be trying it. My girlfriend and I decided to try the pasta and order delivery, I got the Fettuccini Alfredo, she got the Tortellini with Pesto Sauce, we also got the garlic bread because I pretty much judge a pasta place by its bread… The garlic bread tasted like a Von’s French roll, the garlic barely strong enough to hint that perhaps someone cut some garlic next to it, but forgot to add it to the spread… Of course that was until I tried my pasta… The Alfredo sauce was applied sparingly, and wasn’t really a sauce so much as clumpy, tasteless bits on the pasta… I got one bite of tasty, and the rest was bland. So bland was the pasta that the garlic bread now tasted better… This is the second time I’ve ordered food from this establishment, it is also the last.

My boyfriend and I ordered delivery from here. The delivery itself was fast and the food was still too hot to hold when it got here. Wasting no time we dig in. He got Alfredo and I the tortellini pesto. The pasta itself is simple enough. By simple I mean to say the sauce was green paste on a measly layer of overcooked pasta in a small puddle of green oil. No hint of herbs no thought of garlic. It was as bland as it was mushy. I didn’t even dare to try the garlic bread. This is a first time and the last time I am ordering from here as I was anything but impressed.

horrible. extra crispy pizza does not mean send me a pizza not cooked. when a guest ask for only cheese and garlic SALT it does not mean dump a whole container of chopped garlic all over the pizza making it so you cant even eat it. then when you call to complain and demand your money back for food your not even eating they do not answer the phone!!! worst place ever. stay far away everyone. finally got ahold of the manager/boss the following day. had him only giving back half of the price of the food and screaming at me over then phone they he doesnt give a fuck what he fucks up he doesnt care about his guest. better business Association and health inspector will be visiting this location. beware everyone!

The owner took my order early before they opened which was really appreciated. My visit was over the 4th of July weekend so it was hectic everywhere. My pizza took around 20 mins to cook which was OK. I checked it and lit looked perfect. Great pizza, great toppings and considerate owner.

Went here for a late night snack. The sauce and cheese was avg but I really enjoyed the crust. It had a chewy hard to pin down quality and flavor. I think it may have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while but whatever it was it’s worth a try if you’re in the area looking to grab a quick snack and walk on.

My brother has lived down the street for 3 years, and recommended that I try this place when I was on my own for a meal when visiting. Was great pizza, and the owner was friendly. I always appreciate friendly service, as well as good food.

Not great. Average greasy pizza. I couldn’t get a handle on it because the crust was really thin and super greasy. Probably fine as a late-night slice.

I live down the street from this place so I order from here, solely based on convenience. Their pizza is okay, their service is mediocre(the lady that answers a lot of the time is kind of rude and pushy) but they typically deliver when they say they’re going to deliver and the pizza has never been poor quality. It is nice that they offer salads and other sides. Just a note: I wouldn’t go here to eat as the inside only has like two tables. it’s primarily for take out and delivery.
