Great creative lattes and excellent customer service. A welcome addition to Azalea Park. Molasses is a game changer! We will be back!

We live in the neighborhood and needed a little coffee shop bad! This is an awesome addition to our eclectic hood. Justin is so sweet and friendly and even got a special stash of almond milk and chai for me. Go check this cute coffee stop out if you are in the area. He has made it homey and has built seating and is even going to do art shows. There really isn’t any place to get coffee out side of 7⁄11 or Starbucks in city heights or close to azalea park anyway. I give him a thumbs up !

This is my third visit and I have to say that every time I come here it’s the best visit, I leave happy because my drink is delicious and Justin is always in such a happy mood! His Mexican Mocha is delicious iced with soy milk. My sister and I are hooked. Just picked one up before our errands: D I would give this corner pop up coffee shop a chance, you’ll be impressed. I’ll be back Justin

I love stopping by Burly and Bean almost daily for a Vietnamese iced coffee. I am completely addicted. I have tried most of the lattes as well and Justin is a genius when it comes to flavor combinations so you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Justin and Vanessa are very friendly and inviting.

1st time there and it was good. The coffee was fresh. My husband got a pb&j cold drink and he enjoyed it. The service was awesome. Two perks he gave us a loyalty card and gave our 3 dogs treat. Would definitely go back and would recommend the corner coffee shop.

I have been driving past this little gem for a couple of months now, so my girlfriend and I decided to stop by for a cup of coffee. We were warmly greeted by «the burly,» and had high expectations for«the bean.» Since there was a couple of people ahead of us, it gave us time to look over the menu and make a selection. Justin, also known as the burly, made a suggestion for the Vietnamese iced coffee, which immediately got our attention. What a great recommendation! Great service and great product are to be expected from this coffee stand. We will definitely be back to try out some other products as well. Thanks Justin!

They brew excellent coffee drinks. Both owners are friendly. This spot has brightened this area of Azalea Park and brought us just what I needed. My daily cup of Joe. Try their Mexican Mocha.

Great coffee place! As the Azalea Park Arts & Eco District moves forward this is a very welcomed addition to our neighborhood. Great owners Justin and Vanessa with their friendly dog Lucy. Coffee is much better quality than Starbucks. I had their iced Vietnamese coffee for $ 3.00! A super deal and a perfect opportunity to support a local business. Will definitely make this my stopping point.

Great local new spot. Simple set up with just enough options. Had the iced coffee, the Vietnamese, and today had a delicious iced gingerbread latte. They’re super friendly and always have treats for my husky pups. I’m impressed that they’re keeping their prices affordable. Starbucks would easily be $ 1.50 more for the same drink. Love getting out and supporting my local coffee shop!

They’re the sweetest people and the coffee is awesome. I can’t wait until they can really get going so I can get my coffee fix in the middle of the week. Great local business!

Tasted a creamy, perfectly-foamed and full-bodied cappuccino at a City Heights, San Diego new coffee kiosk on Poplar near Fairmount ave, this past Sunday. We also tried a sweet, creamy and refreshing Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Burly & Bean are — for now — open the week-ends and are situated just behind Grace Church. Definitely worth a stroll and a sip!
