HUGEDISAPPOINTMENT. Went here on a whim against my better judgement, I seriously have no idea why this place gets so busy. So go on a Wednesday night, wait is about 15 minutes at 6 p.m. get seated and waiter comes over promptly and is very friendly. He explains that the portions are large so a small feeds two to three. We take a look at the menu and it’s pricey but again the portions are big so I guess pricing is fair??? Anyway, order spaghetti and meat balls, the portion is large but for $ 22 I don’t think it’s worth it, after all is is pasta that costs about 1 a box and I promise you it’s not homemade pasta in house. There was an odd chemical taste to the pasta, I have no idea if it was the water they boiled the noodles in or that pasta or what but it was GROSS! Will NEVER go back there. It gets two stars only for the staff being friendly. I didn’t send the pasta back or tell the waiter because it’s not his fault and I would rather just not return. Probably not fair on their end because I’m sure they would have brought me something else again customer service was there but food quality is poor.

We were told there would be a 10 minute wait but we waited 45 minutes while they sat parties of 15, 25, 11, and 8 before us. When they finally seated is it took the bus girl 10 minutes to come and take our drink order, she said someone else would be coming to take our order but that she was busy so could be a little while. We decided to leave. Wasted a full hour of my life. We skipped over to On The Border and sat down at the bar, which Bucca would not allow. If I could give zero stars I would.

I’ve been here a couple years ago and the service was up to par back then with this type of establishment. Today Jne 14, 2016 at 8PM, the female wait help was rude and was very unprofessional. We came in, she took our name, and she just walked away with no acknowledgement on her part. She seems to hate her job or ahe was having a bad day. The pizzas are great and the waiter next to the bar on the first floor was very professional. Front line employees represent the business and they are the key to a a long lasting first impression. STAYAWAYANDSPENDYOURMONEYELSEWHERE. BADWAITHELPSERVICE!

So much food!!! We always leave this place with to-go boxes. My family often chooses to go here for large parties because they conveniently serve family sized portions. The food isn’t extraordinary, but I love the atmosphere, with the random old photos on the wall and the friendly staff. They serve you bread right away but don’t eat too much of it because their food will fill you up in no time. Try the chicken parmesan! You can find Buca behind Panera.

1st time here and extremely disappointed. Food is not very good, and the service sucks! The place is cool looking. Seating is upstairs. Lots of different photos and decorations that catch your eyes. They have booths and tables. The food choices come in two different sizes small or large. They do give you free bread once seated for awhile. We ordered the small spaghetti and world famous meatballs. Very disappointed with the spaghetti. We ordered this thinking it would be the safest thing to order for our 1st time there. Definitely wasn’t. The marinara sauce is extremely watery with no flavor. Noodles were cold. The 2 meatballs they give you weren’t that bad, but I’ve had better. Now with the service, they are extremely slow! We went on a weekday and we’re seated right away. After being seated we waited for 15 minutes before our waitress showed up. During the time we we’re waiting we we’re contemplating leaving. Wish we did! Our waitress finally arrived, brought us our drinks 5 minutes later. Took forever to come back and take our order. Once she took our order food was out within 5 minutes, which is scary to me. We did see the staff gossiping non stop, which explains the slow service while we were there. Our waitress was friendly just wished she moved faster. Even when we payed that took another 15 minutes. Hate to be there on a busy day. One thing I do like is that they have a photographer that comes to your table and takes pictures of your group. Before you leave she brings back a free postcard photo, than tries to sell you photos. I think this is a nice touch especially if you are celebrating something. But that alone won’t bring us back. If I want Italian food i would rather go to the old spaghetti factory or olive garden.

Great Mother’s Day eve dinner. Michael was our waiter and was great. We were a difficult but fun group and he matched wits with us step by step.

Only out of convenience do I dine here. If I had to pick from a list of Italian chain restaurants, Olive Garden would be my first choice. Anyway back to my review… When the table next to me left the server(Eric) asked the busser to guess the number. Turns out they have a game they play to see who picks a number closer to the % tip they are left. I guess they were both wrong and felt disappointed because the number was even lower considering the table paid with gift cards. It made me wonder if they didn’t keep their voices low so that we all could hear and be more generous. I paid for my meal partly with a deal I had. The server proceeded to announce how much I saved and that I got a good deal based on how much I paid for the deal and the little amount out of pocket I had to pay. Good thing I wasn’t on a date! The food here is mediocre. I ordered a side dish of spaghetti with marinara sauce in addition to my entrée. I can’t believe it was $ 8.99 for that small of an amount. It was mostly tomato chunks.

Last night was ridiculous. Our waiter was so slow I asked for a Diet Coke and maybe 30 minutes later I got it. I asked our waiter b4 ordering if I could ask for a super strange request. We had 4 kids with us and it’s always a little crazy so I asked if one of the pastas could have the sauce on the side not on the noodles and he said«totally we do that all the time» I was grateful and we the processed to order when I reminded him sauce on the side :) he said got it! Great! Another 10 minutes later my husbands drink came after ordering /salad/bread! Then the pasta comes and guess what each pasta has the sauce mixed. I said wait is there separate pasta coming he said«ohhhh darn yeah I should have checked on that» I then said we will try and make it work. My kid couldn’t eat cause he can’t have certain foods(not because he is picky) than god I brought food as a back up! So annoying. I then told the man we had coupons from groupon where he said that’s great! We split the check and then was told I couldn’t use my groupon if my friend used hers? WHAT be cause we sat at the same table? Ok well when we talked to u about the groupon and splitting the check and he said cool cool why didn’t he say of course but you can only use one groupon? It was a mess!!! The manger was zero help with the groupon even though we literally had 15 mistakes and a shit tom of waiting for food. I’ll never go again. And the pasta had no flavor maybe it’s cause I asked for red pepper and waited about 15⁄20 min for it.

We keep going back to Buca di Beppo because the food is excellent, and you always know what to expect. The portions are huge and very reasonably priced. And the way the restaurant is decorated is a lot of fun. The restaurant is huge and filled with lots of interesting information and funny pictures. Even the bathrooms are enjoyable to visit, because of the way they are decorated. The waiters are always friendly. We have been coming here often for years and never had a bad experience.

I’ve always loved this place. I’m Italian and have grown up eating authentic Italian food. Let me tell you this place is amazing! Amazing portion sizes so big enough to feed 4 people. *full bar Faves: brownie sundae –salads –sparkling mimosa or something I forget Love the atmosphere dark and romantic upstairs and downstairs. Beautiful photography all over. Huge portions bring your family here!!!

It has been a good hot minute since I’ve stepped foot inside a Buca. Hubby and I decided to do Valentine’s Dinner here on the night before Valentine’s Day to avoid the mayhem. With evening reservations, we had a 10 – 15 minute wait, no biggie. People walking in were given an estimate of 1.5−2 hour wait time, yikes. I had forgotten that this place was family style eating, so no quiet books or corners, but that was ok. The food made up for it. We were seated in a booth. BTW, all seating is upstairs, which is crazy, they do have an elevator for those that need it). There were several large parties seated around us, it was noisy, but not obnoxiously so. Our server came by within 5 minutes to go over the menu. We chose to skip the Valentine’s special and just order what we wanted. The«special», for those curious, was a heart shaped lasagna, choice of Greek or Caesar Salad, garlic bread and 2 mini cannoli for 50 bucks. Not a bad deal. We asked for the fried calamari, the Spicy Chicken Rigatoni and the Cheesy Bread Florentine. PLENTY of food for two. We had to take half and pasta and bread home at the end. The calamari was delicious. Very salty, but tender inside and crispy in the outside. The Florentine bread was cheesy with spinach and other herbs. I’m glad we didn’t order a pizza because it sufficed as both pizza and bread. The Spicy Chicken pasta did pack some heat, in my opinion. It had peas in it and tossed in a yummy red sauce. Service was good. Our server was nice and collected even though the place was crazy busy. Apps, drinks and main dish came out at appropriate intervals, he checked on us occasionally and was there to ask if we wanted dessert at the right moment(which we had to decline… way too stuffed), left us with the bill and took our leftovers to be packed up. The prices may seems slightly on the higher side here but the portion size it pretty big. Also, check your Sunday papers for coupons; there’a often a coupon for either 15−20% off your entire order. Definitely helps if you’re dining on a budget.

My work ordered delivery from Buca for a celebration tonight. Our deliverer, Kelly, was great and prepared our food & brought plenty of supplies(plates, utensils, napkins) & condiments(Parmesan cheese, butter). There was also extra pasta sauce. There still is a lot of food & for 13 people, we barely ate half. Mixed Green Salad — Good dressing. Baked Ziti — I loved the ricotta chunks! Penne Alla Vodka — Similar to the baked Ziti but without the ricotta. Chocolate Chip Cannolis — Yummy! The cream was delicious & the chocolate sauce that came with was fantastic for dipping. Chocolate Chip Brownies — Your typical brownie. Sliced bread

I’ve always love this place for pasta. I’ve been coming here for a while now and I’ve always love how big their portions are because I love leftover pasta. The place itself is super spacious, and you can easily get lost here. Also the dishes here are on the pricer side but one small dish can feed up to 2 – 3 people. Chicken Carbonara is chicken breast, prosciutto, peas and garlic in Alfredo sauce. I always have to get this when I’m here. If you love alfredo sauce the you’ll enjoy this just as much! Fettuccine Alfredo-can’t go wrong with this. You can get this plain or with chicken or shrimp Lasagna– meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, provolone and Parmesan. Hmmmm not the best I’ve had. I don’t like their meat sauce. To me its too sour. But everyone else loves it. I always have had nice service here. One event they messed up on my brothers order and my brother was fine with it. He didn’t care, as long as it tastes good. But the server ended up taking his meal off the bill which my brother was surprised and he appreciated. And had always admire them for doing that.

I am honestly writing a 3 year late first time here review, so if anything major has changed since then. I apologize(I will soon come back to update) This place is very spacious, with dark walls and dim lighting. Upon ordering, there is someone who walks around and takes pictures if you want to purchase one I think it’s $ 10. The dishes here are a little expensive. But for the portion it is worth it since you can share with 2 – 3 people. I tried the lasagna and the spaghetti and both were absolutely delicious.

If you’ve eaten at Buca, then you know the food is delicious! The quality of food on this visit proved no different. My mom and I decided to grab dinner after going to the movies and Buca Di Beppo is right around the corner and figured what better place for a Saturday night dinner? There were quite a few people waiting, but as there was only two of us, we were seated within 5 minutes or so. While waiting my mom kept commenting on the décor. She seemed to be pretty appalled by the tackiness, but I found it amusing. By tacky I mean, raunchy and wildly inappropriate… hah! We ordered the chicken limone(lemon chicken) and rosemary garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken was absolutely amazing with just a hint of lemon in the creamy sauce which doused the juicy chicken breast. The mashed potatoes were also extremely tasty and I would absolutely order this meal again(if I wasn’t trying to go veggie!). They also brought out a basket of complimentary bread with a choice of butter or oil and vinegar. The bread was not warm, but it was fresh and soft. My mom had a glass of the traditional Chianti and thought it was good, but just a bit too dry. I am not sure exactly what I had because our waiter picked it out for me, but I do know it was a sparkling red that started with an «R». It was REALLY good. Buca is a bit pricey, but it is family style, so there are almost always leftovers. When I can make a meal into two, it does make the price a bit more realistic. My only complaint is that it was FREEZING! Like… unbearably cold. My mom wore her gloves through the meal and I was simply uncomfortable. We did ask them to turn the temp up a bit, but it did not seem to help.

Came here for my nephews bday dinner since he requested Italian. I would rate the food 2.5 stars, and service 4 stars. We came on a weekday night and they were fairly slow. We had a party of about 13 and were seated in the Pope’s Room. When we arrived, all the bread, oil and vinegar, and butter were out on the table. I suppose it’s quick to have everything out, but I would have preferred it brought after we sat down so it seem fresher and wouldn’t seem like it was sitting there for awhile. We started off with fried calamari as an appetizer. We also had the apple gorgonzola salad and the Cesar salad. The entrees were large servings of spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken carbonara, and salmon with pesto sauce(used to be on their menu). The salad greens lacked a crispness and seemed a bit old as they were a bit limp. The Cesar salad had an overload of parmesan cheese sprinkled on. The spaghetti, carbonara, and salmon were ok. My bro brought a cake and the servers all sang happy birthday. I thought our server was really good(didn’t get his name). He was quick on the refills and came by often to check on us and he asked the birthday boy several times if he was good. I remember liking bucca di beppo so much more in the past, but this time, I wasn’t impressed with the food.

We tried this place for an event of 40 young people. We asked for pasta(spaghetti and penne) with tomato sauce. The pasta was good for an event, although I am sure they make it better when you ask only for one portion. We got 4 large boxes full of pasta but we only finished 2 of them. Something the youth loved was the sauces, specially the Vodka one ;) The delivery was on time and the price right. The inly thing I will say was expensive was the tip: $ 60. Overall I liked it and people did too, although as I said, I hope the pasta tastes much tasty when is prepared for only one person.

This restaurant is a great place to take the fambam and share some good food and drink some wine. Establishment is meat eater friendly as well as vegetarian friendly. I came here with my two brothers and ended up getting a chicken dish, eggplant dish and artichoke dip. The three plates was colossal and probably enough to feed five people and that was what they call small. Jeebus their largest portion would probably feed a football team. The chicken dish we got was moist and flavorful and eggplant was rich with cheese which i absolutely loved. Artichokes were fresh on that dip which made it even more savory. The meals also come with complimentary fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Staff are friendly and patient especially because we couldn’t make up our minds. Parking lot gets a little busy but not unbearable. Will definitely comeback and hopefully with all my members of my family.

I don’t know what other place has portions this huge but I definitely got my money’s worth. I went with my two friends and we had a blast. Parking was plentiful. We breezed through without having reservations. We were given a quick tour of the kitchen. Brandon was our waiter, very personable and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner and since there was so much food, we still had enough to share and take home. I love me some chicken carbonara and it’s good cause I’ve got enough for days. To our dismay, we didn’t have room in our stomachs for dessert but there’s always next time!
