I hate dental work. Did not hate this. I had a root canal and it was super painless. Bashier is awesome.
Best dentist so far.

Everyone in the office is so pleasant and friendly. I have always been very happy with the services rendered and with the care my family has received. My daughter’s favorite part was they gave her a blanket when she was cold now that’s service.

I have been going here for the last couple of years and this office has restored my faith in Dentistry. For the longest time my grandfather was my dentist, but after he passed my experiences have been swing and miss. Brite Smile has shown me how much the industry has modernized, while maintaining a family feel and the utmost technical skill.
I would recommend them to anyone, and will continue to visit despite my moving away from the neighborhood.

Dr. Ahmedo and his staff were amazing to work with. Megan, Marian (I know I spelled that wrong) were very professional. They do very good work. I had Vaneers put on and the process was easy, affordable and painless. I would and will refer friends and family to them. Very highly recommended. Thank you guys very much!!!

I don’t usually write bad reviews but ethics are something that that is essential to being a Dr. and or a Dentist, me and my significant other found this place through an advertisement due to us not having dental insurance and wanted to save a buck. The cleaning and service were great and everything was satisfactory, but my girlfriend was told she had 5 cavities that needed to be treated and was quoted around $ 300.00 for the resin-​based composite to fill and treat each cavity. I was also quoted $ 400.00 for a custom mouth guard to wear at night due to my grinding that takes place when I sleep. He also gave me quotes on cosmetic fixes that he recommended. At the time we could not afford and would do wit when we had the money. From then on every month we would receive calls from his office to come in and get treated, which was strange to me to get solicited by a dentist office.
A few months passed and we were finally able to receive benefits from our employers, we decided not to go back to Dr. Ahmedo and try another dental office that was referred to us through our company. We just got back from the dentist 30 minutes ago to find out that my girlfriend has 0 cavities, and recommended an over the counter mouth night guard that would suffice for my sleep grinding that would cost me $ 20, which would be less than the co-​pay for a custom mouth guard that she could provide.
I posted this so people are aware of the unethical practice of brite smile dental.

Dr. Ahmedo is an excellent doctor and he made me feel comfortable during my procedure, afterwards when I saw the results I was very pleased and I definitely recommend him for cosmetic dental procedures.

I had such a wonderful experience with my dental procedure. The Dr. took the time to explain everything and was very passionate about his work and it being perfect. Having my wisdom teeth removed was a very quick and painless procedure thanks to this experienced Dentist. Afterward the office staff provided great education on taking care of my mouth. GREAT DENTAL OFFICE!

I’ve been coming to Dr. Ahmedo for over a year now, but seems like its been a decade with how fast our relationship grew. I showed up at Dr. Ahmedo’s office following a skateboard accident that cracked my two front teeth straight in half. Doctor fit me in immediately to help me with my situation. I never really had a steady doctor until this scenario took place. Doctor Ahmedo was ably to save the teeth and veneer them so you couldn’t ever tell it happened. This was only our first appointment from there he gave me advice on my other teeth which needed attention not having any relation to the fall. He helped me with my Root Canals, Extractions, Crowns, Cleanings. Dr, Ahmedo is a true person through and through, as well as, a great dentist for cosmetic or any dental work. He helped me a tremendious amount and i know he can do the same for you.

This is long time coming for a special thanks. Up front Marion has bent over backwards to help me and my family with all angles of financing, payments etc. Copies of transactions etc. I obviously needed lots of help being disabled and sleep deprived.

Dr. Bashar Ahmedo is an excellent dentist. He gave me back my smile with implants and a bridge. He and his staff are friendly, caring and awesome! You’ll be as happy as I have been with their service.

Upon my first visit to Brite Smile Dental, I knew I had found the dentist for my entire family. Very professional and friendly. I needed extensive work done and was 110% pleased with the care I received at Brite Smile! Dr. is extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. Love the office staff too!

I’ve never had to have any dental work done on my teeth (never had a cavity), and so it was with some trepidation that I finally had to deal with a cracked molar tooth. Dr. Ahmedo and his staff were very professional, and calming and took extra steps in explaining the process of how to deal with the problem and provide solutions.
I was told by a different dentist over 4 years ago that I had a cracked tooth and that I would need a crown and that I needed to deal with the problem or risk losing the tooth eventually. Of course I avoided the problem for four years since it didn’t bother me. Now, however, four years later it was causing regular pain (don’t procrastinate on dental issues) and the crack now had a cavity. So I went to Dr. Ahmedo to have it finally dealt with. Dr. Ahmedo and his staff took extra care and went the extra mile to provide the best possible solution for the situation. My understanding is that often these types of cases often go straight to a root canal, but they have taken every step to try and avoid that, and save the molar tooth too.
I highly recommend Dr. Ahmedo as a dentist. He is very knowledgeable and explained my situation to me clearly, and what the possible options were for solving the problem. His staff is helpful, calming, and very professional.

Okay — anyone who knows me, knows I don’t have any fears and I pretty much have a high tolerance for pain… Except for toothaches. And wouldn’t you know it? My only fear in this world are dentists. The one person who can relieve my worst pain. Ugh. So I made an appointment with Dr. Ahmedo from reading all the Unilocal reviews (I actually called 3 different docs, but they were the first to respond)
The staff’s wonderful, very friendly and professional. Background music — old school/​hip hop (Yay!) Dr. Ahmedo — great sense of humor, makes you feel relaxed, and he’s easy on the eyes (what? I aint gonna lie) I didn’t expect to have anything done on my first visit, but my pain threshold was past its limit, so root canal and whatever needed to be done was done. I was gonna opt to extract the molar but he said he could save it, so I went with it.
The needles, drilling, whatever else they did were far less painful than the throbbing pain of my exposed nerve so I’m so glad I went. Very positive experience, only negative thing I can think of is — the doc likes house music. But at least he wasn’t playing it during my appointment ;) I highly recommend them for general dentistry or if you want that million dollar smile — The man’s an artist with some serious skills.

Overall the best dentist i’ve been to since moving to San Diego 2 years ago. No one likes to see the dentist but at Brite Smile they do one amazing job at making you feel right at home. I needed a tooth pulled and was in so much pain but after just one visit the tooth was pulled and i had absolutely no problems afterwards. Also Dr. Bashar really educated me on the procedure and on further dental work i needed. I very well appreciate all the helpful tips i received and can’t wait to finish this long journey to fixing all my dental problems at Brite Smile!

Dr. Ahmedo and staff have taken great care of me in my short time with them. When I arrived at Brite Smile I needed quite a bit of work along with some of the ugliest front crowns you’d ever see. The works done and in under 2 years I’ve gone from hiding my teeth to what I’ve always called a normal smile.

Very nice dental office.
This was my 1^st visit & it was very nice and smooth! The staff was very friendly, the dentist was very gentle and helpful, he explained things to me like no other dentist did before with photos and illustrations of what was to be done.
The office is very funny and helpful made my treatment options easier on me financially speaking. And their prices are very reasonable compared to other dentists I’ve been too and this will be the only place I go along with my wife and daughter for years to come.

I was very pleased with my visits to Brite Smile. The staff is very warm and welcoming! One of my fears is of the dentist, but Dr. Bashar has a way of making you feel comfortable during your visit. I have had to have some fillings refilled and a crown put on. I was impressed with how smoothly the process went and I didn’t feel a thing. The pricing is excellent too, very affordable.
I would highly recommend giving this office a chance, you won’t regret it!
