Love love loved this place. Went three times in the week we were in San Diego(helped that we stayed right above the bakery). I had the grilled cinnamon roll first time around… Amazing. Genius really. Stuffed with icing and blueberries … How have I NOT been eating cinnamon rolls this way? Second time around just went with an iced honey latte. Super good, not too sweet. And last time around had the BLTA, which was also delish. But hands down if you can only get one thing, go with the grilled cinnamon roll.

Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. 2for1 on Wednesdays. Coffee is average The location can’t be beat, right next to the beach

We come to San Diego each year for a family reunion and Baked is our café of choice for treats, coffee and free wifi. The cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are huge — the size of a small baby’s head, though perhaps that is not the most appetizing image. Delicious and the folks who work here are really down-to-earth and friendly. On hot days, it is uncomfortably warm inside and patio seating is the best option.

This bakery is really cute and the delicious smell from the bakery takes your breath away. I love the outdoor seating. I only had their apple cinnamon roll, but I destroyed it. Every bite was packed with flavor. Their coffee was a little bitter for my taste and needed lots of cream and sugar.

When you walk in, the aroma makes you instantly want their cinnamon roll. Watching them put the fresh icing on the cinnamon rolls as they just come out of the oven lets you know how fresh it is. I walked there with a $ 20 in my pocket and my order was more than what I had. Thank you for covering the difference! You rock! Everything is delicious. The apple walnut bread pudding is fabulous!

This bakery is AMAZING — and adorable setting, great location right near the beach. I had the sticky bun with nuts and the apple cinnamon roll — omg, outrageously yummy! I’m a sticky bun lover and this one was super soft, dough had perfect texture, like velvet, with the right amount of cinnamon zing and sweet sticky goodness. YUM. I will be back for another sticky bun and probably try something new, looking forward to it, thank you!

Hands down: best cinnamon rolls ever. Super close to the beach, table and chairs outside, but most of all… the best icing you could imagine or ask for on a cinnamon roll.

This place is adorable. Really friendly and professional service too. I went on a Weds and got a BOGOF on cinnamon rolls which were HUGE! I ended up sharing them on a girls’ night so didn’t feel too guilty. I also got a breakfast burrito that kept me going for 3 meals of my daily 5. Not too shabby! Will totes return: D

The salted caramel cinnamon roll($ 3.95) that I ate here pretty much destroyed all the calories that I had burned on my long run along the beach boardwalk… but it was totally worth it! We also got a large organic coffee, a ham and cheese croissant($ 3.99) and a slice of bacon and brie quiche($ 4.95). Grabbed a seat on their small patio and refuelled after our run.

I happened upon this little Mission Beach gem when I ran a search on Unilocal this morning for cinnamon rolls. Yum, yum! This is a quaint bakery with delicious cinnamon rolls. I rode my bike over to pick up two cinnamon rolls for me and my husband. If I had a basket on my bike, I would have grabbed a couple of coffees also. I bet they are delicious. It was 10:30am and the cinnamon rolls had just come out of the oven. They smothered them in freshly made icing and sent me with my little white box of cinnamon goodies and a smile. If you would like to dine in, there is plenty of patio seating. There is seating indoors as well. They have raspberry cinnamon rolls and sweet buns. They have traditional coffee drinks including mocha and latte. They receive five stars from me because I went there solely for their cinnamon rolls and they did not disappoint. Today is the day that the Chargers won their first playoff game. The bakery even had Chargers helmet-shaped and iced cookies for sale to root on our home team!

3.5 Stars I was close by and saw Baked on Unilocal.Overall, the food was about 3 stars for me but the coffee was solid. I would give the coffee 4 stars and would get a cup regularly if I lived near by. They also offer a dollar off with check in. I ordered the Italian Sausage and Brocoli and Cheese Quiches. I also ordered sticky buns and a hammerhead espresso drink. The quiche and sticky buns were AOK. Overall, AOK and the Coffee was great. This is just my opinion. It seems many other Unilocalers feel this is the best they have had because of their five star«as good as it gets» reviews. You may wish to check those reviews out also. Overall, AOK and then some.

This a great little place for coffee, baked goods, and a light breakfast or lunch. I came by here early in the morning and had a 16 oz Americano and panini breakfast sandwich on focaccia with bacon, eggs and cheese.( ) The sandwich was only $ 4 and some change. The sandwich was very good. It had a modest amount of egg and bacon, but they were very good.( ) The focaccia bread was expertly prepared, and not only did it have great herb flavor, but it added nice texture to the sandwich. I tried some of the salsa they provided on the side. It was not bad, and I spread a little on the sandwich.( ) The sandwich was a perfect light breakfast. The Americano was excellent. It was bold and rich yet went down smoothly. The service here was dynamite and friendly. They bake and carry an array of fresh baked goods that look fantastic.( ) A definite for my next visit. Good food and good people…
